  1. Good point, at that mileage the intake is likely way overdue for a cleaning. Eliminate the EGR or just disable it through vag-com. I disabled mine at 100K, another 100K on it now and the intake still looks pretty good. When I bought mine at 80K, the intake was almost completely clogged.
  2. If you get it, this is the single best purchase you can make: http://www.frostheater.com/ I don't have garage space for mine so it sits outside. Starting it up and having instant heat is so nice. The diesel won't warm up sitting at idle and it takes several miles for it to come up to temp, the frostheater cures this. PAP Parts in Polaris is good for TDI parts if needed. One of my favorite wheels, those would look great on a lowered Jetta. 17's or 18's?
  3. Typically the MKIV TDI's bring a premium over what KBB has them valued at. My daily driver is a '00 TDI Jetta GLS with 205k on it, I wouldn't let it go for $2K. Used TDI's can be hard to find, most owners drive them 'til they die. As others have stated, you should snag that thing quickly.
  4. Pic? If I recall correctly there are a couple different styles in 18's. I have a couple of friends with CC's, I'll pass this on if pics are available.
  5. If he doesn't take the tires, I am interested.
  6. Simply Beatiful, the wheels are a great touch. Always loved the FD's.
  7. Very cute, I wish I had the patience to pick up some photography skills.
  8. Great show, it was nice seeing the few members that I know and meeting a couple of new ones. Some absolutely incredible cars there today, the family really enjoyed the day at the Zoo as well.
  9. Looks great, love the MR2's. I've had a '91 and '93, still regret letting them go.
  10. Nice looking Z, for power most 'upgrades' don't yield much real world gain on the naturally aspirated Z's. Intake, exhaust, underdrive pulley, then focus on handling/braking if you want the car to be more enjoyable. Let me know if you need any advice, parts or work. Tim
  11. Hmmm, been wanting to visit the Columbus Zoo anyway. We have a family membership to the Cincy Zoo so it would be nice to hit a different Zoo for a change.
  12. I don't know the details but unfortunately, Mike passed away. His Z was auctioned on ebay by his family back in May.
  13. Really common problem on the Windstars, two of my coworkers have experienced this in the last month. Used rear axles are very difficult to locate for this reason.
  14. Obviously a Knight Rider fan, even the correct generation Firebird. Must have hit the Boost button...........
  15. Since you are a Z owner, look into http://www.zroc.org. They host several events, both social and driving.

  17. You can occasionally find a decent Suzuki 50 in the $400-500 range but they typically bring $800+. Suzuki Quadmaster 80's go slightly higher. I've had decent luck on craigslist, just have to be patient and jump on a good price quickly as they don't last long. I bought my son's first Suzuki 50 on there for $400, he rode it for a year and then sold it for the same to buy him an 80. You can find one of the chinese quads in that range but people still try to get crazy money out of them as well.
  18. Looks like the one that was at the Arthritis show, I don't recall if it had actual tags or dealer tags.

Arthritis Show for me, Datsun/Nissan are one of the Marque makes this year.
  20. Good lord that's a lot of tire. Looks great!
  21. **Disclaimer: I do not claim to be a good photographer Deleted the rear wiper, cleaner look without it and it was useless in my opinion. I've wanted to get rid of it for quite a while but didn't want to break the paint on the hatch for a repaint. http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/Side1.jpg?t=1277082847 http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/Side2.jpg?t=1277082891 http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/WiperBGone.jpg?t=1277083235 Aluminum wiper delete kit that comes anodized black, painted to match http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/WiperDelete1.jpg?t=1277083299 http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/WiperDelete2.jpg?t=1277083352 New stainless door sills http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/Doorsill.jpg?t=1277083401 Still love the Manaray's, even after owning them for over a decade. Guess I'm 'old skool' http://i984.photobucket.com/albums/ae324/SilverTwinOH/RearManaray.jpg?t=1277082466
  22. My condolences, had to go through this twice with our Malamutes. Dogs bring so much joy but loosing them is so rough.
  23. Very nice, congrats on the purchase!
