  1. Hopefully this one isn't a repost as well http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17919 My Z is mixed in on page 3, didn't expect to see that.
  2. Stunning work, looks like great quality on the cage. Nice welds.
  3. I'm glad I was finally able to make it, it was nice meeting you and several other new people as well. Looks like I'll be battery shopping for the car today. Always a great feeling when your car craps out in the middle of parking lot full of car enthusiast. Thanks for tracking down the jumper cables for me and to the other gent for letting us use them.
  4. I'll be there if I can roll out of bed in time.
  5. Picked this up a little over a year ago for my son but he never really took interest in it. He spends all of his riding time in his go-cart or quad. Shopped for a while before purchasing this looking for one that wasn't beat on. Still on original tires that show almost no wear. Runs great, perfect starter bike. Training wheels can be removed/installed in about 5 minutes. Thought someone here may be interested for the little gearheads. $475.00, PM or email me at davistj@cinci.rr.com http://i41.tinypic.com/apb57t.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/1zbvxq9.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/2v9qbkj.jpg http://i39.tinypic.com/25k6kw4.jpg http://www.cincyz.com/SilverTwin/Jordie
  6. Not good, I already have lodging booked for the May Zdayz event...........
  7. I've got this available: http://www.extrememotorsales.com/2008-dazon-90-minis.jpg I bought it for my son because he wanted one with reverse, he ended up liking his other kart and quad better so this one in just sitting in the garage. I paid $500 for it, I'll take the same for it if you are interested. It will need a battery, starts up fine but the battery does not hold a charge. I also have a KTM mini-adventure 50 on training wheels that I'll likely be selling in the spring because he doesn't ride it.
  8. Same weekend as the Vintage Grand Prix @ Mid-Ohio and Datsun/Nissan will be the Marques cars this year. Surprised the Heritage show was scheduled the same weekend as an event with as large of a draw as Mid-Ohio. I've attended the Heritage show in the past, I will be going to Mid-Ohio this year. I'll let you know when we start planning spring/summer events. Tim
  9. Hey Felix, nice to see you branch out from the Z forums. We'll have to get you at some of our Z meets once you get down here. Tim
  10. I just emailed this to the Columbus Z and Roadster owners group.
  11. http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/absbleeding.html That link explains the procedure. You trigger the system via the vag-com, press and hold the brake pedal when prompted, it will go to the floor and cycle the abs pump. You have to hold it firmly as it will force the pedal back up. Takes about 5-10 minutes. Some cars can be done without the vag-com, I found short cuts on a few different forums but none of them applied to my VW, not sure about the earlier Audi's.
  12. It's just a cycle of bleeding through the VAG-com that cycles the abs pump. The software is free from Rosstech, all you need is the cable. Rosstech also has a locator on their site of current owners if you want to find someone local to you, you can also search OhioVw's; most of their member base is in the Columbus area.
  13. Was the abs pump bled properly with a VAG-Com when the caliper was replaced? I just went through similar on my '00 Jetta; went through the bleed procedure with the VAG-Com and all is well now. May be the same for your Audi.
  14. I just did this for my son, seeing his jaw drop as he watched the video was priceless. Thanks for sharing!
  15. My condolences, went through the same thing last year with our 12 y/o Alaskan Malumute. It's rough, like others have said, just remember the good times the the quality life he had.
  16. October of '96 for my Z32, longest I have ever had one car. Still no real interest in letting it go.
  17. Looks like you are a KP Technologies fan, now you are right in his back yard. Nice guy and offers some nice products. Not sure that I'm aloud to welcome you at this point since my post count still makes me a noob as well.
  18. I did the Car & Driver One Lap of America back in 2000, entry fee back then was $2K and we burnt through another $2,500+ in the week for fuel, brakes, etc.... It was a great experience but really hard on the budget.

  20. Goog God that thing is gorgeous. Perfection in looks and more so, performance.
  21. If you are looking for new, the DDM Tuning kits are some of the best that I have found. The slim line ballast kits work well when installed in a projector lense set up, great bang for the buck. I haven't had to use the warranty to know how well they back it but they do come with a lifetime warranty. 4300K will offer the most optimal lighting. http://www.ddmtuning.com/catalog/HID_Kits-85-1.html
  22. Absolutely stunning, the car and the quality of the pics are amazing.
