Almost made it....sat at top of 179.... but battery probs...so hit it back home and same snag with back up bike. Hope your ride went okay. Another time perhaps.
-
Made the art gallery stop, sans scooter. Did see the Rukus with Ohio Riders sticker on drag bars. Talked Maybe next year with a scoot. Aprilia's 850 vtwin due out soon....end of this year or early Spring.
-
New resident statie here...been decades since we had a live in patrol guy.
-
Check out ride completed....some minor adjusting to be done at north section. Can't tell ya elapsed time for route as I picked up the pace due to rain clouds....home in 3hrs and beat rain. One more dry run, pardon-the-pun, before actual outing. Itza doer, smooth roads, scenic views up top of ridges...will be a nice ride. And as always....Rain or Snow .... we don' t go.

Got the map to come up!! Hooray. Route looks good. Only concern would be the twp rds off of SR557. Twp rds tend to be rough. CR 407 is okay. Good pavement last time I was on it. Can't remember which of the twp roads gave a show of rock face by creek. It'll work. I think it took me around 40 minutes to go to Ashland from the greater Killbuck metro area, 60 to the 179 and back to 60 and College St. (Campus).

Warehouse....uhmm, Heather is my fave waitress. Patio or basement dining...upstairs is more formal. PM with times....trying to figure my time between Scooter-que in Columbus this weekend. Thinking now is could meet with you and run to Kershocton wif youse. SR60, at North end of Killbuck... they are rooting around digging at bridge at that end of Village. Depending on time....maybe backtrack to Ashland way on SR60...if that is the way you decided on. SR83 Woster area....shopping and traffic....miss it if you can. Once around here...spartan traffic.

Sorry...trying to get back in....guess i hafta sit in the special chair to get reception. CR19....shameless plug is included in Fall Leafy thing. CR19 the one that runs along SR60 is tighter turns...more of a work out...so yer 45 to 50 mph there would be uhmmm, a workout. SR60 from Warsaw to Dresden very nice. SR208 is nice as well more of a cruiser kind of tour, but not meant as a slam. SR16 is boring really, but survivable. Could opt for Coshocton's CR6, not sure what rd # is where it comes out onto SR16. Only snag is a slip that was repaired with gravel section...nearer Coshocton....and coming back out onto SR16 nearer Roscoe Village. SR541 EAST...is better than 541 WEST, by that I mean east and west of Coshocton. West has the long straight ridge top section....i like turney things. CR17 runs along north of 541, and west of Roscoe Village....not too many straight sections....it will come out at Warsaw...well between Warsaw and Tunnel Hill (541)....uhmm, shoot me a PM/email....better luck with catching me on route checks. Incidentally...Knox Co. has discovered not only chip and seal, but using pea gravel ta boot. AND thanks UP....appreciate the plug.....hmmm, maybe buy one of them jaunty canvas hats and get some cargo pants and pocket vest....guide service here. :>)

Planning on attending....did the Cleve "rockersvsmods" meet. Looking fwd to it. Struggling to open link...lil' droid is a pain. Didn't have a firm location for event in Columbus. Link presently only opens for me with banner....i can see things below that maybe provide info, but can't scroll down to read! Had mentioned this in the Cafe' Racer Cleveland event, but best to have itz own thread.

And gravel around in the 90's after Blissfield and a bit beyond south. SR60 from Ashland to Loudonville okay....may wanna look at picking up 179 at Hayesville....following it will bring you out just above Nashville...60 & 39 run together for awhile....then too, drop down on 514 at Nashville to SR520 and left at stop sign when 520 ends at 62 onto 62 and cross bridge and there is SR60 again. Y'all problee don't wanna hear about good ole twisty CR19 and CR22 that runs the hills west of SR60 to Warsaw. At Warsaw ya pick up SR60 again.

True on structural function....it'd be the secondary function after copius amounts of alcohol and loud music urges. Somebody YouTube it. Me widdle phone ain't that advanced....Iron Pony Saloon, Loudonville. BUT we will be there in daylight! Smiling y'all.
-
Motocyclista...er motoclista...uh, Lance, we are going past Grandma's restaurant in Charm....since it is Sunday no doubt closed. Iron Pony Saloon could be a whole book..."the gunfire held off until 10PM".....NO, Just kidding....but I am curious about the poles in the middle of the dance floor in the basement....may hafta peek in some night after dark....
-
Ooooo, Grayling, Lake Margarite...ah yes....I think I got a kid up there! Smiles

Posting up. Next Fall Leafy and Amish Country Tour will be October 7, a Sunday. Closed loop was 125 miles. This year starting in Danville at, for a lack of a better description, the square. This is the BP gas station. Meeting @11AM....folks can gas up and we will gather at the station and at any surrounding open parking. Departing at 11:30AM. Ride will end .... because of popular demand....at the Iron Pony Saloon. The closed loop mileage was the return to Danville. Extending the invitation to you folks. As always...rain or snow we don' t go.

Momma stepped up and took cruiser out. So we covered SR60 to 36 then on 36 to Bob Evans....brunch and off on 541 to Martinsburg....62 to SR229 and approx. to Gambier...ducked down backroads and out between Howard and Millwood...took 36 to Millwood. USR62 to Danville and back to good ole Killbuck. Left again and headed down 83 to Roscoe and late lunch or early supper. Hence the call out if anyone in area. Slight sprinkles as we finished up so SR 16 became a quik turn around and we headed towards sunshine. So back on SR83 and home. Nice ride...momma got along nicely...declared she liked the bike! Ratz, that bringing home bikes for her to try got me quite a few of 'em! Good holiday.....
-
Nevermind...back at the palatial estate.

@ 33#, owner's manual spec. My above answer a no show hence this one....and part of conversation/reply gone....i love technology.....looking for my note on mileage. It can't be too much more than a 1000 miles. Out a few weekends and a coupla commutes to work.
-
I run the owner's manual spec, 33#. The Continental Attack 's are soft, but last 2 stll had tread in middle, this most recent more so. Went with el cheapo, Shinko. It is a fun ride, maybe shouldn't use it as a commuter....
-
YIKES!!! Just pushing bikes around in garage....I'm glad I switched bikes mid-run....as that new Continental Attack has silver showing thru...all good rubber all around...except for that one spot. Think that is the 3rd rear tire this summer and I wasn't anywhere near the burnout box! May have to send this fella down the road....ain't liking putting on tires every few weeks.

Saw my old Mini Cooper on Seattle's Craigslist....dat count?
