  1. He was supposed to get me a price on it, but he forgot about it. I'm going to yell at him about it tommorrow about it.
  2. Well, good 'ol Snappy doesn't have one. He can order it, but it will take probably 2-3 weeks to get it. If you want me to order it I can call him up. Later. -Ricky P.S. Nobody I work with has a tap that large either.
  3. How soon do you need it? I can get one off Snappy and let you borrow it. Let me know. smile.gif
  4. I agree with the shifter fork diagnosis. I should stop posting when I'm half asleep, lol.

    About a Supra

Not all SC300's were auto, but only something like 5 percent were manual. Pretty rare.
  6. Sounds like your clutch wasn't disengaging. Is it in need of replacing? I think I recall you were saying that it is slipping....right? or was that someone else?
  7. Hua, you are saying avoid the Profec B....why is that? That is realy the only boost controller that I've heard people recommend over and over and over.....is it because you can't run enough boost on it? Everything I've read about the fuzzy logic controllers say that they are very finnicky (inconsitent). I'm glad to hear that at least one of them works well. smile.gif
  8. I had (had being the functional word here) a block done by them for my car last winter (have since sold it). The Civic probably won't be getting anything done to it, ever. I didn't make any claims through insurance or anything because nothing was wrong with it, seeing as how it didn't move. The only reason I put a turbo on the Civic was to make it more fun to drive, may be moving on to something better in the future. smile.gif
  9. I've been wondering if they do "other" work. I "may" need them in the future. I had a block done by them. They do awesome work.

    Honda Service

I recommend you check out this link. It is a brand new site from Honda for owners, and will keep you informed on maintenance, recalls and the like.
  11. No. The second O2 will be reading out of the ranged\ that the ECU says is okay for it to run in, and therefore will trigger a DTC (CEL). Unless you do what was previously mentioned you will get a CEL. It doesn't matter what combintation of cats and O2 sensors you use.
  12. You have to keep both o2 sensors, and they both have to be reading properly. As already stated the best way to do that is either resistors soldered in line, or a simulator. If you are missing an O2, you will have a CEL. If you use both O2's unmoddified, even if the secondary is after the cat you WILL get a CEL becuase the second o2 is reading the effectivness if the cat. If it reads out of range (this case too rich) that triggers a CEL for a bad catalytic converter, or secondary O2 voltage too high/low.
  13. Sounds like you just heard about them. Where did you get that info?
  14. You can either buy an O2 simulator, or use some resistors in line with the O2 sensor.

    CRV stalling

Seriously, do not use BP in that car. BP will cause those kinds of problems, and BP gas freezes much more frequently than others. Use low-grade Sunoco (heck anything other than BP). We get cars in all the time that are fine, but barely run because they have BP gas in them. We RARELY see CRV's in for problems, if you maintain them they are the most bulletproof vehicle I have ever seen. I'll put money on it that the gas is your problem. smile.gif I'll check Hondanet to see if there are any updates that should be done, as far as I remember there aren't. Later.
  16. Aren't you going to tell him how to choose the Vtec crosover point? FD's do have Vtec, right?

    CRV stalling

I've never heard of that, what kind of gas is she using? Are you sure it isn't fuel line freeze up?
  18. I know RL was breaking half shafts left and right, Dyno Brian went through about 2-3 trannies and PonyPimptress went through at least one this year.
  19. I would be glad to help you tune it, and I'm sure Brian would be glad to let you pay him to dyno. smile.gif PM me if you want my assistance. smile.gif
  20. Ah I see. I've been out of the Hodna scene a little while, so I had never heard of a new method. Haven't been on H-T in ages.
  21. If you are talking abot the AFC Hack, you are incorrect in your wiring procedure, and you still should dyno it to get it tuned in.
  22. No it won't work, the heads are different and the bolt pattern on the intake mannifolds are WAY different.
  23. I would and did go turbo on my car. All-motor is expensive for any serious power, and after building the motor you would still be lucky to make the same amount of power as a bolt-on turbo kit. Supercharger's cost more than most turbo kits, for less power. Honda's LOVE turbos. I recommend a Drag III kit for simplicity, it doesn't have all of the best components (deltagates suck) but it is a much better buy than the Greddy kit (not sure if there kit is out for your motor anyway, although you could modify the GSR kit to fit). Check out ImportParts.com they are probably running a special on the kit. If you can't install it yourself, I would be more than happy to do it (for a fee of course ) I hope that helps.
  24. Don't buy cheap wires. I'm sure the factories use NGK, and that's all I would use. NGK's > All. EDIT: I forgot to ask what kind of plugs are you using? Again, only use NGK's (or whatever else the factory uses). Many imports will not run well on anything but. BTW Bosch Platinum Fours are the worse plugs you can possibly use. Just a little FYI. [ 26.
