  1. I just got a Latitude E4300 (work laptop, swap out for my last one, which won't be missed). So far I have been pretty pleased with it, but god knows how much the thing was. I am disappointed this new one only has 1 USB port and no PCMCIA port.
  2. Seriously, throw that old thing away. It can't even have surround sound built-in. You should buy something with HDMI inputs at the minimum (and not just a pass-thru HDMI).
  3. Damn, I see the airtime watch, but I am afraid it isn't waterproof, and designed for snowboarding/skiing. Too bad, even on my spending freeze, I'd still spend $9 for that!

    MRI

I should have had mine done there...I was stuck listening to some lame local crap...luckily I half dozed off during it.
  5. Why would you have to put a 10-point cage in? It isn't going faster than 10's or over 135MPH. 5-point rollbar at most would be required.
  6. You haven't seen these steps. My wife bought the fridge and stove seperately (stove came last)...the delivery people asked if she bought the fridge from them. When she responded "no" their response was "thank you." These are people that do the moving for a living. They aren't bad to live with just going up/down, but moving stuff is a big PITA. At this point, high $200's, low $300's is low enough that I'm not going to waste too much more time finding other options.
  7. If you don't know how to use a VOM, then please don't mess with the electrical work. You could hurt yourself, burn the place down, etc. It isn't hard to understand home electrical stuff if you have some basic knowledge, but your questions seems a bit too basic, and you should really do a LOT more research and have someone show you some stuff before you do something you may regret. Better safe than sorry.
  8. Pirate Bay. Or better yet, sell the Mac.
  9. You should help me move. Or better yet, help me paint.
  10. Walked? My Formula went faster (and trapped a lot higher) than this TBSS has ever went, on its old setup. I hope to have time to put the car back together once we move into our new house...other, more important things have come along the past year and a half that haven't allowed me to touch it. The parts are there to get her back on the road. Oddly in your equation, traction somehow doesn't come into play with extra HP. Or that fact that it is FAR harder to go from 12.0 to 11.0 than to go from 13.0 to 12.0. And just because you haven't heard of a faster TBSS in the area doesn't mean there isn't one, and doesn't mean there isn't one willing to race at the drop of a hat.
  11. Gorgeous car (excluding the exhaust, of course).
  12. Says who? Ask how many 700RWHP Supra owners that are stuck in the 12's. The track is a lot more than just dyno-racing. I've beat cars lighter and more powerful at the track, because they can't put the power down.
  13. Insurance is insurance, as long as it covers stuff. We aren't having them move that much, and everything we are moving is easily replaceable. If it wasn't for the stairs here, I'd be moving everything myself. The stairs are a royal bitch. That's why they are only moving big stuff, and nothing more. Otherwise, it is getting strapped to my trailer or going in my truck.
  14. Leaders and Two Men in a Truck were uber expensive...about $200-300 more than everyone else.
  15. What does the current fastest TBSS in Columbus run? Where's the timeslip showing this one to be faster?
  16. Price Lowered to $159,800 I did a search of the area, and NOTHING close can touch this place for the price. Anything close in size isn't in nearly as desireable of an area, and a lot of those need major updates. Most around this price are a lot smaller and only a couple are in areas equally as nice. Honestly, you won't find a better sq-ft to location to price condo in Franklin County. Short walk to $1million+ homes.
  17. My Avalanche has an LS-based motor, it's the 5.3L LM7. But lots of folks run modded versions of the 5.3L heads on their LSx cars as a cheap head upgrade, and since most of the parts interchange, I would at least like it considered. Not that I really care, the truck is a tank.
  18. It's been on Heroes on several episodes this past season, since Nissan dumps a bunch of money into the show. And it is a pile of lame.
  19. What is the appeal to a BMW bike? More specifically, the sport and sport touring BMW bikes (the full touring I understand a bit more). I see them being quirky and expensive without any benefits, but I could be totally wrong about that.
  20. Umm, yeah, that's too much work for memory seats!
  21. I will need a professional mover on the 27th. About a 1/2 hour drive to our new place. Getting everything into the new place will be cake. Getting everything out of the condo will be a whore. We want pros to do it, big stuff ONLY. Will need two beds moved (twin and a king), couple large dressers, heavy glass dining room table, 2 couches and sofa-chair, fridge, stove moved down (and a different set moved up, I will have in the garage, as we are swapping applicances to our new home), 1/3 size chest freeze, and that's about it...we can easily move the rest. No electronics to move or other valuables. I'd do it myself, but it is 1.5 flights of PITA stairs that isn't worth dealiing with. Licesensed, bonded, and insured, and will cover the cost of any damage while moving. Suggestions? Will need on the 27th. I will be making some calls this afternoon, but if anyone has some place to recommend. We want to do this as cheaply as possible.
  22. 06 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Her car is a mix-match of options; power driver/passenger seats, even has the rear heated seats, but no memory seat option. I'd love to add that option if there isn't too much of a cost/hassle to do so. I drive the car enough that it gets annoying changing the mirror and seat settings. Any info on doing so would be appreciated.
  23. My trailor is currently being repaired (for free ), so I won't have it back for a week or two. Besides, I really should get this other stuff done, as we close in a week and a half on our new place. Luckily, I have 2 acres to ride on at our new home, so I can have fun on the quads without leaving the house.
  24. Hell, if I had a bit more warning, I might have been able to, as I don't work tomorrow. But my wife is taking my Avalanche tomorrow so I can take her Audi in for an oil change and whatever else needs done on this service, and a bunch of other errands to run. Hell, I'd ride the Raptor still.
