I will pay you $100 to mow this yard, CORRECTLY, with a push mower in 2 hours. By correctly I mean not missing half the grass.
-
Not a chance in an hour on a dinky 42" deck. I haven't gauged how long mine takes, as the yard has been so long both times you have to go over it a lot. But my buddies yard is also 2 acres, going full blast on a COMMERCIAL 60" deck zero turn that he is pretty quick with takes him about an hour, and that mower scoots. Everyone in the neighborhood has 1.5-2 acres, and I haven't seen anyone with a small riding mower - it's all 50"+ stuff. Sure I could mow with a 42" but I don't intend on spending 3-4 hours every time I mow my grass.

Niagara Falls is only a 6 hour drive. I recommend the Sheraton on the Falls hotel.

The budget is easily smaller than it was a week ago after have to replace heat pump, lines, and coil here at a not-so-cool $3200. Probably a max of $2000, but that's stretching it a lot. My goal is around $1000, but that's going to be hard to find.
-
No thanks. There are piles of small deck lawnmowers out there; it takes long enough to mow 2 acres with a 60" deck on a fast mower; I don't even want to try it on a small rider. But thanks for the offer.

I just discovered a ton in my office last night (we just moved in a week ago). Looks like they were coming from the A/C vent; most of them were dead all over the new carpet. I have spent 20 minutes sweeping up dead and small alive ants. No food anywhere near where they are coming from, unless there is some in the vent I couldn't sweep out (though the house had been empty for many months). Last time I had an ant problem I bought some of those little metal bait deals, and they worked very well. I'll be picking some up today.

Sirius/XM adding "Fee" of $1.98 per month starting July 29, 2009

I did it a few months ago, when my Sporster IR died, and had it transfered to my Sporster 5. No biggie at all. Also did it at Christmas time from an original Sporster we had to the factory Sirus tuner I put in my wife's Audi. They switched it both times without an issue, and no fee to me whatsoever. -
It is very nice and does an awesome job. But it is a big PITA bringing it back and forth. I really need my own. And they are way out of my budget.

If you are against cutting Library funding
Nitrousbird replied to Hwilli1647545487's topic in Dumpster
Funding for education comes from the wrong source, period. Parents should be funding their children's education, not me. They chose to have the kid, they need to be responsible to pay for their education. We should also cut funding where it isn't needed - a million dollar sports facility for a high school should not come from public funding. No shit we need education. But the funding source is all wrong. But that's just one part of the major tax problems in this country. -

Uhhh, they will transfer it without an issue. Been there, done that. No biggie at all. Used to, and even went to Bubba-Pa-Looza in Cleveland last year (or whatever he was calling it). Now that 4 of 5 days is a re-broadcast of his welfare radio show, I stopped listening. It is a watered down version of what it was. -

I pay every 3 months. They haven't sent me anything, but I will pay the increase. My unit died a couple days ago, and I've been suffering with Welfare Radio ever since. My god, it's more commercials than music. And it's the same dozen freaking songs. I tried that Bob and Tom crap...my god, it is horriable, and I gave it a good chance. Those guys couldn't be lamer if they tried. I miss my Sirius, I need to get a new unit ASAP. Wife gets to enjoy her still, so at least I can listen in her car. -

I agree with cutting the spending. But I also agree with cutting spending in schools as well, as there is another area that really needs to being more efficient. Then again, I don't think I should be paying for schools anyway. If you CHOOSE to have children, then it should be YOUR responsibility to pay for them to go to school. I didn't ask you to breed. If I have kids, then I know I should be the one responsible for paying to educate them. Instead, my taxes are out the roof so your children can go to school. That makes sense. -
I need a riding lawnmower soon. MUST have at least a 50" deck...I'd prefer 60"+, but that's probably out of the question price wise. Cheaper the better. No broken mowers unless easily fixed. Zero Turn or Garden Tractor doesn't really matter. I just need to mow without borrowing my buddy's 60" Exmark.

Why did you roll over and let the cop not site or fault the guy? You know she didn't REALLY care and not doing that was an easy way out of a bunch of paperwork.

Any Cheap Places near Mill Run area to store my new Mustang?
Nitrousbird replied to missmy5.0's topic in Dumpster
Not really. Our condo is located just off of Dublin Rd. about a mile south of Fishinger. There are some units where Dublin Rd. meets Scioto Darby, but I believe those are pretty pricey. Otherwise, there isn't crap around there. I assume you live in Summerxxx apartments (where they are named Summerhill, Summerlane, etc.) That's the only place I know of with carports in that area. So that storage unit I mentioned would be the closest thing for sure. -
I think I'd rather gargle battery acid, but that's just me.
-
Oh well. It's not like anyone LIVING in that area can truely afford a brand new car anyway. They might buy one here and there, but they can't afford it. IMO, dealerships should catter to the area they are selling in. Though I don't get the location of Easton either, but I guess it works.

And don't fully trust these financial planners. Next thing you know, he will start a nice brokerage account for you and lose 10k in a matter of months. There went the car!

We have a black Fridgidare Classic series with water/ice maker, side-by-side for sale. It powers on just fine, but doesn't cool. If interested, make an offer, as I'd love to see it out of our garage.
-
It's a good deal in the short run...we could easily sell it now and make a nice profit. Everyone that has seen this house (Wease lives within walking distance) can attest to how much of a steal our house is. I'll post some pictures up once we have everything put away. Sadly we just dumped $3200 in a new heat pump, coil, and lines today...something our shitty inspector failed to find. Luckily it sounds like we will get a tax credit for the heat pump, which will be nice at least.

Wife's Audi is under the factory bumper-to-bumper w/ free maintenance, so I haven't touched it (other than installing the factory Sirius tuner and a brake light bulb). Otherwise, I am way too cheap to have other people work on my stuff. Time is my biggest killer, but honestly a lot of smaller things you can do, if you count in the drive time taking it to the shop, getting an estimate, waiting around for whatever needs done to be done, and driving home, you could have done it in the same time in your driveway. I won't do body work. I'd rather have a pro build a tranny/rear end/short-block (and by pro, I mean someone that is really good, not just someone who does it for a living). Otherwise, I'll do everything else myself. But that goes for everything from our quads, my boat, working on our homes, etc...I'd rather do it myself and save a fortune.
-
I will have to take a look at her pads in the next couple of days. I've honestly been so busy with the new house that I have to make time to take a dump! If they need replaced, that is for certain what I will look for. Inexpensive is a plus, as we have been hemoraging large amounts of cash the past month.

Congrats. My wife and I tied the knot on 9/6/08. We considered a beach wedding, and if it wasn't for her dad's health worry about going from Nefoundland down to somewhere tropical, we would have flown our family out to do just that. Looks like an awesome ceremony.

I love how anyone assumes the kid that wrecked that car bought it himself. I am going to bet it was purchased by Mommy and Daddy motorsports. As are most cars in that price catagory for people that age and younger.
