  1. RIght now, plug-in Hybrids are the answer IMO. Not everyone can/wants 2 cars (I'm not one of those people, but just saying). A plug-in Hybrid that can get you 50-75 miles per charge, then dump over to the mini diesel generator. That's the real answer right now. Reasonable day-to-day range. If you forget to charge it overnight, or are going on a long trip, you just run your diesel and be happy. But god forbid realistic solutions that people would use. It's far better to make a little queer Prius that just gets good gas mileage. We also need to work towards more wind and solar energy generation for homes as well. It's there, and it is expensive. That also needs to change.
  2. WOW, it's hard to believe he passed over a month ago.
  3. Check Craigs List. I got my Garmin nuvi 350, 2008 maps, two car kits, in its box (used but in great shape) for $100. There wee a bunch listed too when I got mine; I was picky and wanted this because I wanted spoken street names in the best bang for the buck unit I could get.
  4. I have never kept track of ex girlfriends. For all I know, I could have the same history with ex's. Once I dumped then, I had a good abiility to move on and lose contact.
  5. Those are some ghetto rollers right there. I'd suggest finding some used stockers online for cheap and swapping.
  6. New ZR1 - Looks good - Comfortable and nice on the inside, with lots of toys. Can take it to the track, and drive it from there to the valet to have a nice dinner downtown. - Fairly reliable, reasonable to repair, reasonable to insure. Sure, it's expensive, but name a faster NEW car that you could drive daily for the price. - Pretty easy to mod, with great aftermarket support - Fast and handle well, straight from the factory Are there cars I want more? Sure...but it's hard to have the balance of all of those things that are real-world important. Sure, an LSx Aerial Atom (bad-ass) could probably whip the ZR1 in a number of categories, but lacks any sort of comforts (nor is it cold or wet weather friendly).
  7. It looks like a nice place for a good price, but no one was paying 150k for condos in Blacklick, even during the boom. Blacklick is great if you want newer homes for less than most other places in and around Franklin county. 75k seems pretty reasonable, though...I would have expected 85-90k as an asking price. With the first time home buyers tax credit, and FHA loans being handed out a lot now, I'd expect this to go pretty quick.
  8. POS Time Warner decided that Discovery HD wouldn't work last night. Thanks Time Warner. Downloaded it and streamed it to the PS3, so I watched it tonight. Good episode!
  9. I wouldn't consider that a mansion by any stretch of the term, but I'm glad you got most of your money back.
  10. We adore the area. Short walking distance from a number of $1million + homes. 3-4 minute drive from the boat ramp...we were out on Griggs 1-3 times a week last year. Garage is plently big to hold a boat. The park is really nice and not crowded. Neighbors are quiet, no kids. We love the area, but it's time to move on to bigger/better things. This is a nice crib; new guests are always impressed with it.
  11. I honestly expected more. Aftermarket blower, big injectors, full exhaust...I expected a lot more.
  12. Rectum is just fine. I eat hot stuff on an almost daily basis, no big deal. I don't think my Chipotle combo is hot at all either.
  13. I just drank my last beer finishing my taxes. Everyone thinks my wife and I are alcoholics when they come into our condo. We only have two free standing wine racks, large built-in wine cooler, counter-top wine cooler, chilling bucket on the counter, booze dispenser on the counter, and two cabinets full of various bottles of goodness. I've never been to work drunk, or missed time from work drinking. Hell, I rarely get drunk in general. About to go pour a Screech and Coke though.
  14. Yeah, pretty much exactly that. Chipotle is a staple of my diet. I must eat it at least twice a week. I prefer 3 times or more. Burrito, rice (no beans), chicken or steak, hot, sour cream, extra cheese, and lettuce. That = the awesome.
  15. Still want me to get that mower? I probably can Thursday or Friday after work. PM me your #.
  16. PM me your address, and exactly what your current services are. I work for WOW, and I know I can beat that price by quite a bit, I can take a look tomorrow when I am back in the office. Trust me, you'll like WOW better than Warner (I am stuck with Warner at our condo, and miss WOW), and I have heard way too many horror stories of customer that switched back to us from U-Verse - from service issues, HD quality sucking worse than Dish, and overall unhappy with the service. Our prices tend to be better than theirs as well.
  17. A restructure is needed. Dump GMC, Saab, and Hummer. I wouldn't mind seeing the Hummer branded as a Chevy, though. Dump the Unions. Profit.
  18. That all costs a bunch of money (the trees are uber-huge). I am not dumping a bunch of money into this joint. For the cost of doing that, I can clean the pipes so they will flow perfectly for an inspection (they flow great now), kick out the renters, go without rent for a couple of months, do the paint/flooring/remodel downstairs bathroom, and sell the joint. This time I didn't find any roots to be the cause of the clog...... Once our condo sells and we are settled in nicely into our new house, I will probably look towards doing just that.
  19. Hey, free is the right price, lol. I could probably pick it up some time this week. Already have two quads, so I don't need a third.
  20. I try not to pay people to do stuff...I am a DIY person at heart. Got a 3200 sq/ft house on 2 acres in a neighborhood off of Section Line. Specs? Brand, age, deck width?

    For sale

So you are saying you bought a car only because it is good at going around cones in a parking lot? Impressive.
  22. http://her.realliving.com/Property/Details.aspx?PropID=12905063 $169,800 It is worth the money.
  23. - No junk - Good sized deck - at least 42", but would prefer bigger. Mowing 2 acres I am in no rush, won't need it until the end of May, and even then I have one I can borrow until I get my own.
