My wife and I have the basic phone package together, no texting/insurance/data plan, for about $72 a month after tax (she gets a discount through work). Well, AT&T is offering a MUCH better deal. 2 lines + data plans for $99/month. A ton of her co-workers have done it recently; they buy 2 iPhones for $199/each and only pay $99 to have the service. I want. But our contract with Verizon doesn't expire until some time next year (between Feb and April IIRC). I want out without paying the cancel fee. What are the current tricks to escape. I've been happy with Verizon's service, and though I'm no Apple fan, the price is too good to pass up.

What makes you think you are mature enough to own a fast car?? Your driving record sure doesn't support that. The fact you still live with mommy and daddy doesn't support it...which the only reason you can afford the car is because you live with your parents. I personally find it disrespectful that you want to suck on the parental tit for housing/college costs, yet blow your money on a damn car. I bought my Formula when I was 21 and in college. But then again, I worked 30+ hours a week at a good paying (for college at least) job, lived on my own, and paid for my own schooling. And I didn't do a bunch of crazy modding until I graduated and had a real job. Why not save your money so that when you move out, you'll have a pot to piss in, will be able to afford to furnish an apartment and take care of yourself. Keep the V6 in the mean time, drive it responsibly, then once you have reasonable insurance again, then consider getting a V8 car and slowly modding it.

My wife bought this camera for her mom this past Christmas. Within 8 hours of owning it, she dropped it and shattered the LCD. When it did this, it also put some small dents on the plastic panel that goes around the LCD. After that, we just gave her our old digital camera....... Otherwise, this camera works, and is basically a brand new camera. Comes with its box. Now, this is not an American model - it was purchased in Canada (wife's family is Canadian), so that model number isn't common here. The US equivalent is the S760, which has idential specs, and looks almost identical, and has the same lens and LCD. Christmas is coming up, and one of my ideas is finally getting her a navigation unit for her Audi. I really don't want to do a portable unit; just wouldn't look right in her car. Factory Audi RNS-E is expensive, period. You might, and that's a MIGHT, luck into a used one w/ none of the wiring extras for $700. And honestly, I've seen several new aftermarket ones that are far nicer for the price. I want to go a lot cheaper than that. E-bay type prices, new/used/refurb (though must be in great condition). Keeping the rest of her stereo system stock. Must be Sirius ready (I would sell her current factory Sirius tuner box and use that money to buy one for whatever head unit I would purchase...the Audi ones are PRICEY, so I'll get a pretty penny, since I paid a pretty penny for hers last year for Christmas). I'd like to keep it under $400. Beyond that, I'll probably go with a different Christmas gift. Any ideas? I will not put some junk unit in her car either.

Maybe grow up a bit and wait until your insurance rates drop, instead of blowing all of your money on a car. Perhaps focus some of that money towards an education. Or at least buy a car with cheap rates until you can get regular insurance again. You have plenty of time to build a fast car, and if you have so many points @ 19 that you have to have special insurance, you probably aren't mature enough to be owning a 400+ RWHP car. But I am sure all the young guys on here are going to flame me for speaking about making a mature decision.

I knew nothing of this car until this post. After looking at Porsche's website on this car...no thanks. Way too freaking expensive for what you get. I have a feeling it will prove to be a sales flop.
