  1. I was thinking along the lines of your friend works at Rallys...just call off; it's a fast-food job, not a career.

    Fire Pits

My wife and I want to get (likely build) a fire pit. It has to look nice; I am not doing the tractor rim pit. I am also not doing a $1000 fire pit either. It is suprisingly hard to find good pictures of reasonably priced, nice looking pits. It is either the 7 figure house with a crazy design, or a huge patio design to go with it, all costing tons of money. The other side of it is the ghetto pits. We just want a nice pit in the yard, nothing more. Anyone have pics of things they have built (with info on how it was built)?
  3. OSU is actually 1 higher than I predicted. Michigan is on the board now too.
  4. I forgot to add...your realtor is LOVING the idea of the 15k closing. Why? Keeps the price the same, so she still gets the same comission. She wouldn't like you taking nothing to closing and dropping 15k on the house price.
  5. If you want the name of our realator, I will forward it to you. My wife and I were HIGHLY impressed with her on both the buying and selling end of things. She was a pit bull when she needed to be, great researcher, and didn't back down from some of the unfair BS we had to deal with. If it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have been able to buy this house. She was also able to get our condo sold pretty quickly (when the unit directly below ours is still on the market...through the same realty company but a different realtor, and it is a nice unit). From what I see that is hurting you (some of which there is nothing you can do) - There are at least 5 other houses you have to drive by in your neighborhood that are also for sale before getting to yours. Pricing for everything there seems to be within 25k of eachother. Lots of similar homes in the area for sale. Competition makes things difficult. - Your pricing doesn't seem out of line for what everyone else is asking...I didn't see any that had more square footage for less money. - Property wise, I think you have the back yard landscaping looking good. The living room displays well. The front, though landscaped well and looking tidy, doesn't "pop" but some of the neighbors don't either, so I wouldn't take that to heart. - If keeping white appliances (you are in the price range where it is acceptable to), you should score a used over the range microwave off Craigslist for under $100 and install it. Kitchens & Master Baths are uber-important, and that's a cheap/easy improvement that will do nothing but help. - You realtor obviously doesn't understand realty search engines. $1 less could put you in a whole new search catagory depending on where you are searching. Has she told you to knock the price down little by little since it has been listed (I hope not)? - No pictures of the Master Bath...you NEED them. The basement is kind of "cold" feeling in the pictures. Some cheap to free decorating (hanging some pictures could even help) would make it feel a bit more at home. - The wallpaper trim in the kitchen above the cabinets is a bit taste-specific. I won't say it is hurting you, but it isn't helping. Honestly, it is hilarious how people get picky about easy cosmetic fixes. We had people go through our place and nit-pick about stuff we had never even noticed before.
  6. If you think that car runs anywhere near high 6's in the 1/4, you are a freaking idiot. With what that car weighs, it doesn't even make enough power to hit high 6's, excluding the major fact it doesn't have anywhere close to the traction to do it. Waste of money, personally.
  7. I cleaned the quad today and checked my Trailtech with my GPS to see if the speedo was calibrated correctly. It is right on the money; it is dead on until about 30 MPH, at around 40 MPH it reads 39. That means we were hauling some ass on those trails. It references the front tire speed, so spinning doesn't impact it. I will have to set the trip odometer next time to see how far we really rode.
  8. Well, there was nothing I could really do to fix it last night. All the tire places were closed. Luckily I was by work; I got it all fixed and parked back at home this morning, so it's all good now. What I really need to do it get 3 more tires for it, and take the best of the existing old ones and use it as a spare. Not having a spare screwed me last year on the boat, so it's come the time I need to just get around to doing it! I'll see what I am doing 3 weeks from this Monday (which will be my next Monday off), and perhaps we can go quading again!
  9. Bought in 2002, ran through 2005 (maybe 10k on them), then have been sitting since. I haven't put ANY effort into selling any of this; has been sitting in a box in my old garage; now that it's at my new place, I can start putting some real effort in offloading some of these extra parts.

    oh shit!

No really, you drive a SOHC 4.6L...I'll take the LT1 hands down over that, any day. That Impala looks beat, but even so it's well worth that money and then some!
  11. I'd love to know the price of this new setup. I would venture to guess it is VERY expensive. I will be sticking with my Opti/LT1 PCM, thanks.
  12. Guys...I got fucked on the way home 270 by Westerville Rd, the back left tire on my trailer blew. Shredded the whole freaking thing. Being 7:45PM, no where to nurse it to. Luckily, my work is near there, so I towed it over there, and parked the trailer. Put the Raptor on my Avalanche, took it back home. Unloaded, brought a jack/jack stand, went back, grabbed the Polaris and pulled the blown tire, and just got home a few minutes ago. Looks like I will be getting a new tire tomorrow morning, and a spare tire very soon! Today turned out to be way more expensive than I anticipated (since the damn Raptor needed a new battery). But it was a great ride Jaron and Jason. Was a blast hanging out with both of you!
  13. I am saving that link to my favorites...some damn good deals. That Supra is a pretty good deal, and clean. X7 is an I-drive (or direct drive, whatever you want to call it), so that's out for sure. We are going to hit some boat shows this winter to get a better idea of what we can live with and want. My wife hasn't been to one before, so I think she will feel better knowing what is really out there. I'm not some great wakeboarder by any means; I can get a little air and do a couple surface tricks, but I enjoy it enough to justify a wakeboard boat, plus those boats seems to fit the kind of boating we like to do in general.
  14. I am picking Jaron up in Pickerington. I know where you live (would need the exact address, haven't been to Alex's place in a couple of years). Will probably stay out for several hours. Jeans, regular boots, and a motorcycle helmet are fine (that's what I wear). A full suit, jacket, and tie is best (I prefer a tux), but I won't be wearing formal wear for this trip. I'll PM you my phone number; we can pick you and your quad up if ya want to go. My guess is we would leave there 4-ish to come back home.
  15. Uhh, that's a free-standing condo, not a house. I have two different friends that own these types of homes. Good luck on the sale; we were able to sell our condo pretty easily for around what we wanted to this year.
  16. I never bring a gas can for a day trip...I think the last time I went to Wayne, ALL DAY, I used a little over a 1/2 a tank in my Raptor. Passes are easy to get. If you want to go, let us know. I will be prepping and loading my quad in the morning, and will be at Jaron's @ 9:30. I'll bring a few basic tools, but that's about it.
  17. Still too small, even in a cramped apartment. We have a 57" in our 15x15 bedroom. Sadly, only a 50" in the living room right now (it's the nicer of the two TV's).
  18. Jaron and I are going tomorrow morning; I am picking him up @ 9:30, south east side of town. Anyone else want to go? I am taking my trailer, so I can haul a couple more quads if needed.
  19. Fake. Somehow the line of the cock starts ON THE RIGHT leg. If it was real, that means the cock got hard, and somehow leaned slightly to the right, then made a sharp 90 degree turn to the left near the base. Wow, I think I just posted a full analysis of a cock. Luckily, it's fake, and that was really a chick.
  20. 32" is pretty small. Might make an okay kitchen TV I suppose. Too low of a resolution to be used as a monitor.
