I love boating, own a boat, and have zero interest in that creation. WTF are you going to do with it? 60 MPH on the water for a 200k boat the size of a truck. Really? Sure it will get looks, but I'd rather get looks in a heavily modded Mastercraft X80 or a 40'+ go-fast with a couple supercharged big blocks for 200k. I am sure the handling on the water isn't that great, and it isn't great for hanging out on the water. Pointless.

Mine was doing that a week or so ago for a couple of days when I was burning movies. Didn't matter which movie or which of my 3 drives I was using. Then it went away and hasn't done it since. I know a Windows update was done after that, but I didn't look to see if that was/wasn't the problem. At this point, I just need to get another hard drive to backup my Blu Ray files so I can format my RAID and go Windows 7 on it, as my other drive is full. You'd think over a Terabyte would be plenty of space, but somehow its not.

Who can get me a job at chase in Collections or something there?
Nitrousbird replied to Twistedrx7's topic in The Meat Market
Rates are low??!!! The reason my wife is on my policy instead of me on hers is because Chase's rate were much higher than mine, with less coverage. -
My 86 CRX. By the time I got rid of it it had front end damage and a lot of underbody rust, but I basically gave it away vs. keeping it and beating the crap out of the thing some more. I don't miss it though. Sometimes I miss my 94 Moostang GT, but I didn't really need it, didn't/wouldn't sink any money into it, and wouldn't have my Raptor if I had not made the trade, so it's all good.

Do people consider that music?

I've pulled the LT1 twice on my Formula, from both the top and the bottom...wasn't all that difficult. I've seen a 2.7TT in an Audi...that looks like a real PITA. If you drop from the bottom, you don't have to pull a single body panel to pull and LT1. Honestly, it isn't that hard at all. I thought the top wasn't too bad either. There is no way in flying hell a 2.7TT is even nearly as easy to pull as an LT1. I'd venture to guess even a 1.8T or 2.0T isn't as easy.

"All items for sale MUST include an asking price. No more "make me an offer", "what's it worth", etc. If you don't have an idea of what to ask as a starting price, check Ebay for comparable items, ask around, or just guess and add "obo" to the asking price." List a price or I have to lock this.

I keep hearing about making it wider in the front. I honestly DON'T want that. It is plenty stable on jumps and turns, has enough suspension travel for me, and wider = even more likely to smack the wheel into something. I mostly trail ride, and I'm perfectly happy with it the way it was. It's got plenty of power, tons of torque, and goes faster than needed.

Here is where this screws me. What if I don't want to renew a plate until I use the vehicle or trailer until later in the year. That's BS. Especially if you have a bunch of vehicles and don't want to take the hit all at the same time.

Do you have shitty credit or something? First utilites I ever had in my name was in 2002, I was 23, never made a deposit for electric, water, or gas. Just bought another house this year, no water deposit or electric deposit (no gas here). I just call and that's about it...nice and easy.

As someone that works for WOW, I have heard tons of horror stories about U-Verse. From 2 day installs (yes, two full days of wiring in the home; I know what they are doing, and it would have taken me about 2 hours), to stuff just not working...we get a LOT of customers that switch back. It is well known their HD is over-compressed, digital breakup when the phone rings...all sorts of goodies. WOW has fiber to the neighborhoods. AT&T try to act like what they are doing is something new. IP TV...yeah, it's called video on demand...cable has been doing it for a while. The difference is they do nothing but IP TV. If any of you are looking for a new provider, I can give you a decent hook-up with WOW. We don't offer any trial BS offers or other crap like that...our goal is to provide good customer service and a quality product.

Oddly enough, my tailbone doesn't feel as bad as I thought it would. Still hurts, but not half as much as it did yesterday. My upper body is feeling it badly since I was compensating for my tailbone and a pulled muscle I've had for a week in my leg, but otherwise I'm no worse for wear. Cleaned the Raptor off tonight...time to start pricing out parts.

I will work on it this winter...likely during Christmas time since I will be here and my wife will be in Newfoundland. In the mean time, getting the Reynoldsburg house sold is a bigger priority than the damn car.

Myself, Jason (wnplay), Larry (ruinms) and Larry's buddy Ryan went quadding today at Waye, at the New Straitsville trail head. Me on my 04 660R LE, Jason on his Polaris Trailblazer 400, Larry on his Raptor 700R, and Ryan on his Polaris something or other modded sport quad. No biggie getting there. Things started off shitty; within 20 seconds (yes, seconds) of being on the trail, Larry took a bad landing and his tire popped off the bead, knocking him off the quad. I was in the lead and missed it. We nursed it back to the trucks, and luckliy in the process the rear tire re-set itself on the wheel, and I was able to get my POS 12v compressor to fill it up enough. Sweet. 10 minutes later, me in the lead, I am hauling some ass down a trail; I see it turns, slam on the brakes...and slide. Soft dirt + bald ass front tires = no stop/no turn. I hit my left front square on the tree. Quad turns sideways and throws me over the bars; I land on my tail bone and the quad goes on its side. Comfortable. Other than my ass fucking hurts and I bit my tounge, I am no worse for wear, and the Raptor is fine. Another 5-10 minutes, and Jason's Trailblazer is spewing coolant, and Larry's headlight falls off (seriously, all of the quads today were nice quads...no POS anything). We ride some more, and Jason's quad keeps overheating, so we nurse it back to the truck, and grill some burgers/brawts/steaks. Looks like his fan temp sensor is hosed, so he bypassed it, fan works, good to go. Run for quite a while, get 13 miles from the trail head (I have a Trailtech Vapor on my Raptor, correctly calibrated, so I know our speed/distance). I am doing low 20MPH range; and somehow snag my right front on a large tree root that is sticking out. It slams the bars to turn left, then next thing I know I smack a tree. A good jolt, and I hit my head on the tree a bit (this is why you should always wear a helmet like I did). The pics should show it all. BTW, I nursed this damn thing 13 miles back to the trail head, for a total of 35.6 miles ridden today. http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/5168/dsc01984n.jpg The other wheel is pointing straight: http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/2451/dsc01983mk.jpg It doesn't look bad, but the whole lower arm is tweaked. Wheel bearing has a bunch of play now too. http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/8541/dsc01982yt.jpg The wheel it turned straight, and this is how the bars are turned: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/5730/dsc01981wc.jpg http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/3834/dsc01979u.jpg http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/5442/dsc01987o.jpg http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/8497/dsc01985or.jpg

They aren't going to make you do anything gay, are they?

No shit. I took some pictures of the damage to the Raptor; I'll post them in the pics/video a little later. I am f'ing S-O-R-E!!! My tailbone hurts, as does the rest of me. Luckily your quad and Larry's quad were free fixes. Mine...not so much.

LOL. At first I thought it would be something that that dude's crotch, then I looked more closely.

Jason, if you have any more mini propane tanks, grab them. I could only find one, and it doesn't feel too full.
-
Oh yeah, I'll be bringing a couple brawts and a few frozen burgers. Anyone can have my Blue Cheese burgers, as I bought them but don't really like them. But they are good burgers if you like blue cheese. Jason, I'll be at your place a little before 8:30...probably 8:15ish. I already have my truck loaded and my Raptor is on the trailer, ready to go.

Yeah, I called and left you a voice mail earlier. Probably be there a tad before 9am.

Big Rick's LT1...that's the real deal. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/My-friend-Ricks-1996-LT1_2272.htm The car went 8.08 @ 177, 1.25 60', stock style suspension on a 10.5 tire. Not sure whatever happened to it, as the car had 7's in it for sure.

You need to fire your realtor. 3 pictures, seriously? Only 2 on the HER website (HER and Realtor are easily the two most popular sites for home buying in Ohio). Everyone uses websites now to look for homes...it's all online. No one is going to take a second glance without inside pics, and you should have pics of the pool. Especially at a 300k price point; the price probably isn't out of line, but you need to be on your game to sell that house for that price. If you want a good realtor that will get it sold, PM me. My realtor sold our condo that was only a couple miles from there, and has sold a number of homes in the area. She knows what she is doing...a lot don't.
