You are playing with the stock rear and complaining it is having issues? There is a reason there are so many freaking bolt-in choices for these cars (12-bolt, 8.8", 9", Dana 60, etc.). As for the trans, did you cheap out on the rebuild? Who did the build? There are several good places than can build a stout 4L60E...or of course you could toss in a 4L80E as well, but that's one heavy beast of a tranny. TH350/400 would work too, or a Glide.

FYI, I know exactly what a 40 GB movie looks like compressed down to 4GB, and it isn't the same by any means. The rest of what you described the Apple TV thing does, I do the same (and more) with my PS3.

How does my burning of movies have ANY impact on their ability to make money? I don't download because it's hard to find good quality downloads that are ripped the way I want them ripped. If I am going to start spending thousands of dollars, it sure as hell won't be on an outdoor fireplace (it will be starting 2nd garage or finishing the basement). This is a couple hundred dollar project at best. I still need to fix the fountain out front, probably another couple hundred to do that. Ever hear of a used car? My wife bought her A4 2 years used, saved a TON of dough, and still got plenty of warranty with it. It is almost always smarter to buy used and let someone else eat the depreciation. A lease is an even worse idea; you basically JUST eat the depreciation.
