  1. I'll use that...my wife and I are going in a couple of days.
  2. You got to watch out for the 720p TV's, which that's what all the cheap Plasmas are. At 50", you WILL notice a difference between 720p and 1080p. Anything over 40" I would pass on 720p unless it is for a seldom-watched TV, such as maybe a bedroom TV.
  3. So if I were to wank one out, could I use this to make a video of my sperm swimming around?
  4. That's a great deal. If it wasn't for the extra costs necessary to get it working in my wife's Audi, I'd grab this as an x-mas present for her (cost of the $70 Sirius tuner + steering wheel controller, which is $150 to do it right + $50 mount kit + $30 wiring harness = more than we are spending for Christmas on eachother). This is a damn good price.
  5. Very easy: - Set your Bios to make sure the PC will boot from USB (may say external device or something like that - Have your OS disc ready - Boot the PC with the OS disc in, when doing the install, choose to have it install to the jump drive. Make sure it has enough space to install to.
  6. Sorry, I'm not a fan of it at all. But I don't like most of those kinds of vehicles (car-ish SUV's).
  7. Here is one for $15,600 with less miles at a dealership
  8. Ehh, I'd like to get a new boat next spring, but if I wait one more year, I should have all of my debts (besides house) paid off, so then I can afford a nicer boat. Unless my tax return is even better than last years, then maybe a new boat will come sooner..... For my boat, I need to do some minor trailer repair. A thorough cleaning/waxing on the outside. Need to adjust the automatic choke, as it likes to stick a bit. Replace the wood under the side rail. Re-staple the rear seat cushions. Repair back left speaker. That's pretty much it - an off day's worth of work. Otherwise just enjoy it for another year.

  10. I wouldn't be worried about the break-in attempts. The people opening the place know it's in an area that should just be bombed and paved over. They know every little hood rat is going to want what they have. I guarantee it is going to be like trying to break into Fort Knox to get a gun out of there. For the ghetto trash that want to rob someone...well, even the dumb ones aren't real keen on robbing someone that is armed. They may be dumb, but they still don't want to be shot. IMO it's a decent place to put it. The crooks are never going to use the place. Especially if they hire some off-duty cops, do background checks, etc. If they do it right, you should have to be a member to come in, and part of that memembership is a background / warrant check, with a cop on staff to arrest all those coming in with warrants.
  11. I can't do Plasma. I have windows that go 20' up in the living room - Plasma screens are way too reflective. I wouldn't be able to see a damn thing on it. The anti-reflection technology some of them boast is BS too. If I had a darker room, I would go Plasma.
  12. This was about 2 years ago, and no trick. I had a co-worker with a 99 Tacoma, 70kish on the clock. You could poke holes in the fram with your finger. He got something like either 15k or 17k for the truck (got a little more if he bought another Toyota product). He took the money and got a WRX.
  13. Honestly, Saab needs to go: - The lineup has been dated. The 9-5 is new, the 9-3 is the same old hat. - They are a FWD low-end luxo brand. They are just now offering an AWD option. - Their SUV is an overpriced Trailblazer with some nicer interior bits. Looking them up, it looks like they even discontinued it (the 9-7). - The cars are not as nice as their German and Japanese counterparts. Their performance isn't on par. The interiors aren't as nice. They don't drive as well. Not a bad car to buy USED, since they depreciate like crazy. You can pick a couple year old Saab cheap, and at that point you are getting good value for your money. But new, why would I even consider looking at one when BMW, Benz, Audi, Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, Cadillac are all putting out BETTER competitive products. The same can be said for Volvo as well...but at least they have an AWD offering. For the price of a 9-3 Aero AWD, you can buy an Audi S4. Hmmm, like that is a hard choice. Or for less money you could get a BMW 335xi sedan. Hard choice there too. For Saab to be competitve, they would have to sell for 8-10k less.
  14. I have a large living room. 50"+ in an apartment is normally too big. My 50" is too small.
  15. You aren't going to find a better deal than that one (at $248...if you can get it, which I doubt is likely). Best Buy is doing a 32" Dynex for $299. Everything on Amazon is $300+. If you can get it, buy it.
  16. I've bought several computer parts off of Will - always good stuff at a good price.
  17. I know exactly how big a 65" is. My best friend has a 67" Samsung DLP in a room significantly smaller than my living room (and sitting at a distance equal, if not a little closer than our couch). Our 50" looks tiny, and most people are surprised it is a 50". I really want a 73"...and if the 82" DLP's weren't so crazy in price, it would be considered as well, though that might actually be slightly big for the viewing distance.
  18. How about shutting the fuck up and quit reporting stupid shit. I don't care about your banter and your cry baby BS. If you are this sensitive, get the fuck off the website. If someone is banned, it is for good cause. We don't care if you like the cause or not.
  19. TTT, though I'm not considering renting it anymore. Maybe a lease to own option, but that's about it. Currently all flooring is pulled, all wall-paper removed, most of the spackling is done, and have started the painting. Paint should be done by mid-December, flooring done before yeards end, with only the downstairs bathroom after that.
  20. How much for a WD-65737 or WD-73737 Mitsu DLP? Their Black Friday sales for them are a joke. They upped the price to put the 20% discount on them. Everything on sale + 20-30% should not mean bumping up their normal weekly prices to take the discount. Hell, there 60" DLP is more expensive that it normally would be. Big LCD's = big bucks, Plasmas are too reflective.
  21. Not much at all. HH Gregg has a Netbook for $199, doorbuster item. Couple places have cheap Blu-ray players. I haven't seen anything that is going to drag me to wait in line anywhere. All the TV deals are child sized units. I'd be willing to wait in line for an awesome deal on a large TV, gas generator, i7 based PC, or a decent treadmill, but so far I haven't seen anything for those.
  22. Think this stuff would work on a leather couch? Ours is light tan, and getting grimey from where we sit a lot. I used a magic eraser on a small spot, which cleaned out all the dirt, but was hard on the leather.
  23. Screw all that give more money to the children BS. The schools get piles of cash; they mismanage the hell out of it. Plus, it should be the responsibility of the PARENTS to pay for their children's education, not everyone else.
