Thanks guys. This is actually a car I can pick up for $50, was just curious how much it would cost to see if it would be worth fixing. I know the transmissions suck, I had 5 new ones put in my '93 SHO in a 5 year period. Yep, 1 a year!

I would bring the Transmission to you, it's a '95 Taurus (go figure) Just curious what this would cost for a basic rebuild?

...we thought it was fishy, seeing how the '03 had not come out yet and Ford was struggling to produce enough of the hand built 281's to meet the production deadline. The ebay guy had like no feedback and he said "Don't ask where I got it, because I will not tell" Remember that?... Well, on the front page of 5.0 Mustang Super Fords this month is '95 GT and it says " Packing '03 Cobra power since 2002". Hmmmmm, I immediately thought of that auction and sure enough, the guy got it from ebay and he quoted what the seller said, "Don't ask, because I wont tell". He got the motor complete from intake to clutch for $6,100...FMS sales these for $12,000

Fellow Top Fuel pilot Scott Kalitta also thrilled with Ohio's first 330-mph clocking near the close of Friday's qualifying action. Track records were set in all four Pro categories. Aside from Bernstein's and Kalitta's marks, Funny Car frontrunner Whit Bazemore logged an impressive 4.77 at 325 mph to reset both flopper marks. Greg Anderson carded a 6.822 to lead Pro Stock and grab the National Trails' E.T. record, which is precisely what Andrew Hines did in Pro Stock Bike with his 7.140 at 187 mph.
