  1. He's so overt, he's covert. http://www.praguepost.com/pictures/1-20120104-11597-7942-pic.jpg
  2. Thanks for the insight/tips. I have begun reading up on the Miata forums already, just looking for some frst-hand reviews (suchs as yours).
  3. Nice. I don't remember for sure, but I don't think I actually liked it all that well. Just the novelty of it. Wasn't it sorta citrusy?
  4. Please school me on reliability, comfort, known issues, if my 6'2" self will fit, etc. We're going to sell off the Wife's old Saturn soon in favor of something a little more sporty and with a manual transmission. We originally planned to get her a Legacy GT (or similar sporty midsize) because we do intend to have kids eventually, but that's on hold for now until we're settled into a new house. We have no car payments and I'd like to keep it that way for another couple of years. Anywho, at this point I'm thinking just a cheap, reliable-ish roadster could be "fun" enough for her over the next couple of years and they're cheap enough we can just about jump right into one without pulling much out of savings. I'm not sure I like the idea of convertible without a rollbar, but it appears those can be had for around $300. Also, I'm not that concerned about winter driving. She can always take the Jeep to work since I work from home anyway.
  5. I'm going to guess that's pretty much every isle except the American isle? That's where they sell 11 year old American Pepsi. Shit, they might even still have Crystal Pepsi. :megusta:
  6. Agreed. It's best when it's mixed a little stronger than its probably supposed to be.
  7. Queers. Android Fo Lyfe! -posted from my iPhone. :gabe:
  8. I read your post. It seems you took offense to mine without bothering to read the info from my link. Again - Beleive whatever you like. Don't waste your time trying to convince me you know better. I'm not impressed and I'm not going to argue about something this simple.
  9. Do you have a trans temp gauge? Are you overheating it? If you have a fairly high stall conververter that can add a ton of heat cruising around town.
  10. I was referring to stock cars. It sounds like yours have been tuned. When you get your car tuned it is often specifically tuned for 93 to allow more ignition advance and any other mods you may have done like higher compression, boost, etc (any of which make it no longer "stock"). Then it totally makes sense. You're misinformed and so is, apparently, everyone you know. A stock car that is designed to run on 87 should never knock unless there's a problem. This is all I'll say on the subject, since it's not really on topic. I'm just amazed there are still so many that beleive more octane is better in applications where it isn't necessary. Obviously, feel free to buy based on what you beleive. There's plenty of actual science behind it if you care to elighten yourself. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/autos/aut12.shtm
  11. Not me. My 99 ran perfectly for thousands of miles on Regular until I got it tuned for 93. Putting in higher octane fuel than necessary doesn't make it faster and is a waste of money.
  12. Yeah, this video demonstrates excellent use of the English language as well as textbook gun safety. :dumb:
  13. Shit, that is a good price. It's like the newer, more complete version of the kit I bought for the same price 10 years ago.
  14. Quality Namerape :lolguy: Unless maybe you chose that for yourself? :dumb:
  15. I think its a fair compatison. The Kahr CW series are pretty inexpensive. The rest are pretty pricey though. I would still definitely trust a CW series even though it cost near half as much as some of their other guns. I like the feel of the CW Kahr over the KelTec offerings but both are known to be reliable.
  16. Is there an ip address on the label? maybe you can log into the modem an run a self-test or something, though it sounds like it's just jacked up and needs replaced.
  17. Just so you know, statements like this come across as highly arrogant. They likely don't give people the impression you think they do either. For your sake (and those now in your employ) I hope the exotic car crowd is full of people that are similarly accustomed to constantly telling others how smart and successful they are. Otherwise I'm not really sure how your e-personality will be anything but bad for business. Then again I'm not successful or intelligent, so what do I know?
  18. Anyone else notice the uncanny resemblance? Like a Bird :fuckyeah: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v691/twistedfocus/LikeaBird.jpg
  19. That reminds me, I have a 99% condition P64 I might part with a couple hundred. Not my first carry choice but it has been a neat little gun. My wife used to carry it alot. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P-64_(pistol)
  20. Vance's has a good price on the Kel-Tec PF9. It wouldn't be my first choice and they're a bit clunky but not bad. You could be out the door under $300 with tax. They also have the Kahr CW9 for under $400 (my preference in the under $400 category). http://www.vanceoutdoors.com/flyer/flyer.pdf
  21. You should have every phone number registered on the Do Not Call Database. https://www.donotcall.gov/ I have only received telemarketer calls twice on my cell ever. Both times I reported them and they never called again. Calls from companies I already have a "relationship" with are another matter though. Time Warner would call every month trying to sell me Digital Phone. I have every other service they offer and will never be interested in a home phone, please remove me from your list. After doing this dance for months I finally told them to stop calling or I'd be cancelling all of the other services if that's what it takes. No more calls since then.
  22. According to Jones, it will be a slow ride... :fa:
