They are removable, but not as simply as a Jeep. There are several bolts around the inside perimeter that you can take out and seperate it from the body. It's heavy too, so it's a job for 2 or more.

My friends IROC made it to Hot Rod

Nice. Voted. I would like to vote a solid thumbs-down on their fucking website though. 4 moving popups? Really? Also, having to click vote for each section is just poorly thought out. http://singitdontsayit.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/gears2.jpg -

Need a new TV. Any thoughts on a good one that will last a while?

I beleive all LED tvs are using LCD. Pixelation is his concern (though my in-laws have one and it's not bad). -

How about a good plasma? They're not super energy efficient and seem to be harder to come by these days, but my Samsung has been super-reliable for ~7 years and still going strong. Still has nearly as good a picture as anything new (though it's only a 720p native). -

Essentially like this. Preferably adjustable. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performance+Products/555/52125/10002/-1 http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/500/555/555-52125.jpg I'm going to try adding this in tandem with my ECU trigger on the Cherokee (attempting to cure heat soak when the ignition is off). Since I'm not 100% certain it's going to work, I'd rather not buy a new one even though they are only $30. Just checking to see if anyone has one laying around before i shell out the moneyz.

I have seen them at Blackwing, but they only had a couple of them. Vance's may have them too. Might be worth calling them first since that place is always a fucking zoo. It's really not very bulky. In fact, I think it's the slimmest of any I have tried.

I like my DeSantis "Tuck This" best out of the few I have tried. It's simple, comfortable and has a broad range of adjustability for multiple carry styles. It's relatively inexpensive too. I'm not sure I'd like it as well for a heavier gun, but it works great with my Kahr P9 which is similar to your gun. http://www.desantisholster.com/store/SEARCH-BY-HOLSTER-OR-ACCESSORY/INSIDE-THE-WAIST-BAND-HOLSTERS/Tuck-This-II/Keltec/PF9

Chrysler Turbo Encabulator

That can't be for serious. WUT? I'm not a scientist, so I still don't know what a Turbo Encabulator is. How many JigaWhats does it put out? -
13. Unlucky. Your shit is weak!

You eat pieces of shit for breakfast? Real talk, I'm on Seal Team 12. We're twice as badass as Seal Team 6.

I don't do ellipses very often... SMB. If not actually directed at me, I guess I can see that. Bad grammar is bad, I do like to toss in a meme now and then. especially when dealing with an internet culture crowd that will likely "get it".

1998 Saturn SL2, ignition key will not turn or come out.
twistedfocus1647545489 replied to Stampede's topic in Tech and Tips
Might sound silly, but have you tried pushing in on the key as you rotate it to the remove position? The wife's SC1 is a bit janky in that you need to push in on the key and make a smooth sweep all the way to the off position or it sticks in the middle. If that "technique" doesn't work, you probably need a new cylinder as others have suggested. -
I like that alot. For consideration, something that's not an actual font stands out, but can be harder to scale to different proportions. Thats "square" enough I think I could make it work for multiple platforms though. It depends on what they want to grow it into. That's the only reason I like staying with a "real" font. Otherwise it makes it hard to copy, which is nice. The JEGS logo is "impact Italic" font. Scales easily. If any admin types want to set up a time to roll by my house here in the North Pole to go over stuff, I'm willing if it comes to that. A vote thread might be a good start though. Getting a good idea of what has a global appeal is good.

Exactly my point. I think you're well past the time to make a decided upon logo, then expand from there. You have a brand, more or less. You can always spawn from that one logo, but you have to start somewhere. I recently made a fake logo that I think is the same font as the favicon (the logo next to the address bar in your browser). If you want to stay with that, I can make that in like 5 minutes in huge resolutions. Honestly though, in large scale I think it's pretty lame. Simpler logos work better in print though. I'm thinking we can poll it up and I'll toss in some ideas as I see them. I'm sure no one here will be shy about critiquing my retarded artistry, but that's how we end up with something everyone is okay with.

Complete with Pilsbury Dough Boy? My meme memory is strong.
-
I think it's important to retain the trollface too though. I think that's public domain at this point
-
You could easily wear out memes too. I was also thinking something like [CR Logo on Red Shirt] I'm Ketchup, Motherfucker. (on back) [CR Logo with BRZ] Ermagherd BRZ (on back) :gabe: ..endless possibilities. It all starts with a proper logo though. Really it's part of your brand. Like it or not, CR is your brand now... :dumb:
-
I think a neat shirt design would be something like so: [CR LOGO] My car is stock :gabe:
-
Anthony/Tina/everyone, Is there any interest in designing a final, approved CR logo? I'm no artist but I have some design experience. Given a specific set of guidelines and maybe a little bit of voting and brainstorming I think we can come up with something decent. I'm in it for free between work projects. I have alot of free time lately anyway... :fa:

I've been probably 10 times. Randy already hit most of the things I have any input on but here's a few more. Definitely rent a cabin. I usually hate tourist traps but there is a really good mix of stuff in that region. By renting a cabin you can cover all the bases. You can see the touristy stuff for as long as you can stand, then see the Smokies and still hang out and grill at the cabin if you want to stay in. A few times I have cheaped out on lodging and every time it ended up being rainy or snowing (season dependant) and we spent alot of our trip killing time instead of actually enjoying ourselves. The beauty of spending more for a really nice cabin is that you have a pretty neat place to spend time if you get rained out of other activities. Many of them have pool tables and such, or even video games. We usually get a 4+ person cabin for ourselves just because we like the added space and amenities. We have always had good luck with cabins from www.majesticmountainvacations.com. Beware, they do have a security deposit now that I don't think is mentioned on their website. 2-300 bucks I think, but you get it right back if you don't burn down the damn cabin. Also, if you call them I think they can tell you which cabins are up retarded slopes, if you think that will be a real concern. The last time we stayed at a mountain-top cabin it was up the steepest roads I have ever been on. The Wife's Saturn was having trouble going up and down but we made it. The knife store in Sevierville is Smokey Mountain Knife Works. Yes, it's awesome. It's a neat store to check out even if you're not really into knives. We go to Smokey Mountain Brewery for lunch or dinner just about every day we're there. I prefer the newer, larger restaraunt they built in Pigeon Forge. It's worth the short drive or trolley ride. The original one is in Gatlinburg near Calhoun's (good BBQ and they serve SMB's beer). Either one has the same stuff mostly, I just think the old one really feels old. Another restaraunt I haven't seen mentioned is The Blue Moose. It's kinda off the strip, behind BullFish in PF. It's mostly locals in there so their prices are a little better and the food has always been great (Burgers, hot dogs, wings kinda stuff). +11billion on the Aquarium for the kids. One of the best I have been to.

Sounds like a contender. Any pics? Shoot me a PM with particulars and contact info. I'll forward it to him. Thanks -
Damn, I came in here to suggest that Doc was shopping for 22" spinner hubcaps but he's already posted.

I have the same problem right now myself. The stock trans seems to hold the power for now from a roll though, so I'm probably good for 40 rolls until the T5 gets replaced.
