Blizzard of 2010 Version 2.0 OMG!!!!1!! White Death!!!!1!!
twistedfocus1647545489 replied to Casper's topic in Dumpster
Same here (SW Delaware). Actually I think it just started getting worse. I can hardly see 42 from here and I can usually see it clearly. Based on what we have had fall already and how much of the "storm" is still coming according to radar, I predict several more inches. -
Damn. I though I had it good with only about 5 miles to drive. Should be fun in the Jeep anyway as long as i don't get hit by some dumbass.

Shows what you know, I'm getting mad swole up on pizza and cake. -
Yes, though I only had a truck with a bed through one winter. It actually works reasonably well. Certainly better than nothing at all and its free.

Thanks Eric. Thanks, Eric

Unfortunately my BTs are due to poor diet and laziness, not steroids. -
.45 for carry. Recommendations

I found the LDA trigger to be a little funny, but maybe it's just that I see myself as a 1911 purist - in that they should be single action. It's just felt weird, though it is pretty light. I have no personal experience with the CCO model specifically, though I like the feel of the CCW pretty well. I thought I might like it, but was afraid of the lack of grip safety. It probably would have cleared my fat though. If your hands aren't all retarded like mine you may no issues with bite though. That is assuming you like the LDA trigger. -

If maximum concealment is of concern I'd say Kahr P45 is worth a look, though it is polymer. It's nearly as small as my P9. Since I prefer the 45 I probably would have bought it instead, but they weren't making the P45 then. I'm not a huge fan of some of Kimber's MIM parts, but I really kinda like the Custom Carry series guns. I can't carry one comfortably IWB because the beavertain sticks me in the fat or I'd have one. I won't own another 1911 variant without a beavertail ever since I got regularly bitten by my old Colt 70series Gold Cup. -

For keeping gains from steroids and not getting BT. "Bitch Tits" Edit: I'm not implying anyone here is actually using steroids, just going along with conversation. Though some could argue that I do in fact have BT. -
Like. Alot. I like ugly bikes though. It looks like something RoboCop would ride.

Help with designing an electric cutout

I've never seen them off the shelf, but you can accomplish the same thing by using a TPS based WOT switch like you would use to activate a nitrous kit. If you have a car with a traditional throttle cable you can probably even use the cheap microswitch type. TPS style: http://www.jegs.com/i/Nitrous+Express/744/15961/10002/-1 Standard Linkage Type: http://www.jegs.com/i/NOS/741/15640/10002/-1 -
+1 for Barley's Not only do they have very good BBQ (not the best anywhere, but very good IMO) they have some pretty damn tasty beer selections. I'm not a big fan of smoked sausage usually (ha), but theirs is awesome. I think you can only get it in the sampler, but they'll let you substitute out some of the other stuff for more sausage. Edit: Unless you like paying for parking, go to the Smokehouse over on Dublin Rd. (Grandview), not the original one on High st. It's a much bigger place with more seating anyway. Dickey's is pretty good too if you're more into the fast food approach rather than lounging around drinking beers. We go there for lunch pretty often.

Sweet, I had all but forgotten about them. P.S. - "Your Mama got a glass eye... with a fish in it."

That is odd. The only aftermarket Tremec trans I'm aware of that was still 28-Spline was the old TR-3550 they don't make anymore. To my knowledge ALL TKOs (old and new 500/600) are 31-spline. Beats me.
-
I'm retarded and can't write today. "Yeah, that's only the TKO" is the part that refers to the output.
-
Yeah, that's only on the TKOs. I had read Rob's post as him saying that's not a T-45 in the car, but a TR3650 which is why I was rambling on about 03's not being T-45s (though clearly you have swapped one in). Edit: I'm referring to the 31 spline output... I need to learn to use the quote feature.
-
Correct. If it's an '03 its a Tremec 3650 (after Borg Warner was bought out). It's similarly weak, but a little different than the t-45. I also thought that all of the GT's after '02 had the 11" clutch upgrade first used in the Bullitt, but I'm not 100% on that. I'm gettin' rusty.
-
You can use a different brand disc with the King Cobra PP, however if you make enough power to have a need for that transmission I'd seriously consider a whole new clutch. Maybe the Centerforce DF, Ram or Spec. Perhaps even consider converting to an 11" setup. Re-using pressure plates can often lead to mixed results, much like using a specific type of brake pad on a rotor then switching to another brand, they often don't work as well as if they had been bed in on a fresh rotor. Edit: I just saw that it's a newer model car, so it may already be an 11". I'm thinking in Fox terms.

Hardly (though I do like the iPhone...). To disprove your theory I'm going to take the G5 behind me and chuck it out the window. Meeting at 5:05PM EST for Office Space style sendoff.

Again, it is very possible that I kant reed gud, but I didn't follow that question either. I make a habit of not taking every comment I read on the internets as though it's directed at me personally. I'm silly like that and maybe that's why I don't get your point. As for PB&J, my ancestors are from the hills (pronounced "Heeels"), so in actuality it's far more likely that I'm genetically predisposed to selecting a SPAM sandwich than anything with that hippie peanut butter.
-
I read that as him saying "Just because I own an Audi doesn't make me an Audi Nutswinger" (though the jury's out on that...), not calling anyone else out. Defensive? Maybe my reading comprehension sucks. BTW - I like Peanut butter and honey sandwiches. Anyone who says peanut butter and jelly is better can suck it!

Sounds like a sweet site, however your link must be broken. I can't get it to load.

It does seem kind of stupid that they omitted a camera with some of the other upgrades they tossed in. If anything I would have expected maybe a front mounted camera for video conferencing/chat given their intended user. They probably did it on purpose. In 1 year they will offer the iPadS, which will contain all of the stuff they could/should have included with this one.
-
iPad [/thread] Seriously, I agree with the points made by Skinner and Draco. However, I normally end up getting all of my stuff from Newegg these days rather than spreading my shipping all out to save 10 bucks using Pricewatch.

I dunno, I don't hate it. I guess I can see where some people might find the benefit in such a device. I'm not as unimpressed as I expected to be but it certainly isn't for me.
