  1. Mine isn't jailbroken (anymore) and has no issues sending or receiving.
  2. Maybe this is actually Bruno and we're all being punked.
  3. Mine is working. Yay. Not that I need it, but it was kinda silly not having it on a "smart" phone.
  4. Truth. Though for similar or slightly more money you can probably get a nice hand-fitted custom from Cylinder & Slide. The nicest gun I've ever fired was a C&S 1911 built on a Caspian frame/slide. These are way out of the $500 price point though (Top shelf Wilson's and C&S tend to be ~$3000+)
  5. A nice .22 pistol. I have one already but it never hurts to have variety. If you don't have one and you target shoot regularly it's a really nice change to shoot for hours on $20 worth of ammo. Most decent .22 pistols nowadays shoot really well at typical indoor range distances. That would be purely for the range gun scenario. As for CCW, all of my favorites are a bit more than $500 but I'd think a Kahr CW9 or CW45 would be an excellent choice if you're looking for true year-round concealability and ease of carry. I haven't checked the price on them lately but I'm pretty sure they have both for under $500. The new little Walther is kind neat but I just don't like it as well personally. A little too "Space-Gun" feeling for me (though I loved my Steyr M40 which is even more spacey looking).
  6. I'm sure the Koni's are working against you in that department. He was building a "street car" at first or it would already have Lakewoods or something instead.
  7. My plan doesn't qualify (it's the bottom Family Talk tier). Oh well, I have nearly 4000 rollover minutes as it is. It wouldn't make sense to upgrade my plan when I don't use all of what I have. It would be nice though since I only regularly call about 5 people anyway. It would basically make it unlimited for me.
  8. Cuz' I'm the mother-f-ing Transporter and I'm trying to lay low.
  9. Those AKs are starting to look more like M4s every day. Evolution?
  10. One of the best Tom Hanks movies and possibly the best 80's comedy evar.
  11. I think he's just a dumbass, but it's possible he's going the Howard Stern route - kind of a "Oh you heard I'm a douche, but you have heard of me".
  12. I remember Yahoo had a story on this topic last week actually. Some dumb ass group is proposing that the next program that would be good for the environment and the economy would be this "Cash for Appliances" crap. Basically you bring in your old inefficient energy-wasting appliances for government money towards new stuff. I can see this being mishandled just a badly as cash for clunkers, so I say no.
  13. I tried, but even with sharpening, unsharp mask, despeckle, etc they still looked like ass. Try this: http://c1.neweggimages.com/NeweggImage/productimage/38-111-023-05.jpg
  14. These seem to be a good compromise between improved handling/traction and decent road manners. Control arm lowering brackets might offer some benefit for drag racing as well. If it negatively affects handling/braking you can always put them back in the stock position when you're not racing. http://www.hotpart.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=47 Even well built double rod end arms will need the ends replaced occasionally as they slack up because they can get really noisy. They're great for a race car but everyone I know that has run them on the street gets sick of dealing with them after a while. Edit: Or just read above post. Anthony types faster...
  15. Just real? Real crazy. This kinda crazy: http://canadianfermentation.files.wordpress.com/2008/04/manson1a.jpg
  16. Kanye is a gay fish. http://www.zmemusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/3.jpg Edit: Jones beat me to it.
  17. These are unibody cars, so that would likely be an insurmountable amount of work.
  18. That's what it sounds like to me (put the salvageable Saleen stuff on a coupe).
  19. Sweet - he "rebodied" a Saleen... Good word dude. When I sell my Jeep I'm going to advertise it as a "Rebodied Mars Rover".
  20. My experience has been that Andrew's tends to have a little better quality stuff. I know it all comes out of the same hole in the ground and is probably all mostly from the same suppliers, but they just seem to have a higher percentage of better stuff in stock compared to Kay, Meyers, etc. You can usually work the price down. I have paid asking price only once there and that's because what I was buying was already marked waaay down for a sale (my wedding ring). They also helped me to build-my-own engagement ring from a huge box of rings and setting pieces rather than just picking a stone and plopping it in any random ring.
  21. I seem to recall seeing one of these floating around your garage... DO IT http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/700/741/741-02101.jpg (However if you break something, I was totally against it from the onset)
  22. He used to be in Baltimore, out near NTR. Did he move?
  23. I wouldn't be afraid if it seems like it has been taken care of (maintenance kept up). It's not uncommon to see the 4.0L go well into the 200K or even 300+K range without any major maintenance if properly maintained. Everyone automatically assumes a Honda anything will go a billion miles, but I personally have seen very few examples of anything from Honda or any other maker with a reputation for longevity like that engine. Not to make it sound like they don't have their quirks, because they do, but they'll get you around for many miles if you keep them up.
  24. Sweet. This is good news for fat, lazy fucks like myself who for some reason want to join the military. Seriously though, that is dumb as hell. Doesn't surprise me at all though. It's probably because they had enough people fail it and cry discrimination.
