  1. TMJ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temporomandibular_joint_disorder I have a moderate case of it myself. I either grind my teeth or hold my jaw funny while I sleep. Some mornings it feels like I got punched in the jaw and the whole side of my face is kind of sore for a while. A Dentist can check for this.
  2. Seems to usually only be the part between the body and the door, likely in the "accordion" portion going to the door where it gets bent back and forth for years. I spliced into the factory wires just inside the kickpanel on each side. I found it to be easier to just replace the whole length of wire from there into the door (about 2-3 feet) than trying to probe the wire looking for a break. The factory wires are all taped up so it's not so easy just to pull them loose and mess with them.
  3. If this is a Cherokee it's pretty common for the wires inside the door to harden and break inside the jacket over time. I spliced in a short section of speaker wire to fix my drivers side speaker for my old Cherokee. When I bought my new Cherokee both fronts were out and the dealer thought the radio was dead. I tested by swapping a speaker (as you mentioned). When that didn't work i knew it was the wires. I spliced in some speaker wire from just inside the door frames out to the speakers and it has been fine since. My Hayne's manual breaks out which wires are for the door speakers. If you don't have one I can scan that page (although anyone with a Cherokee should probably have one).
  4. I read all 6 pages and then realized I had misread the title and there is no Seal Racing Video. I'm disappointed.
  5. He was on that James Lipton show (Inside the Actor's Studio) about a year ago right after he came back from Africa. He explained alot about why he left and why he just needs to do his own thing for a while. He basically indicated he thought he got too popular and he may never do something like the Chapelle show again. He did bring the funny though. It would be nice to see the show return.
  6. Yeah, sometimes cramped compartments dictate the use of a standard quart bottle pump (pictured below), which I also have. Most of the time the red transfer pump works great for me though. I found that the quart bottle pump was good for filling my IRS diff beause I kept tipping the damn bottle over trying to fish the hose into place. Also, I have never taped a bottle to may car. My cars usually actually are White-Out over rust... Not so good for retaining the nice no-gloss streaked finish I hold so dear. http://a1672.g.akamai.net/7/1672/116/20090401/www.ritzcamera.com/graphics/products/3-92/366640092.jpg
  7. This has been the best 10 bucks I ever spent for doing fluid changes of almost any kind: http://www.jegs.com/images/photos/500/555/555-W1145.jpg
  8. Oh Snaps. Me vs. You after school near the monkey bars. Cherokee GT AllTrac > Stage 2.7256354 Esfo
  9. If I remember correctly it's based on the number of teeth on the drive gear (the one on the trans). If you have a 7 tooth drive gear you need a 21t (red) for 3.73 and a 23t (white) for 4.10 If yours is an 8 tooth drive gear the 23t is about right for 3.73 and you're just ass out with 4.10s.
  10. 59% Damn, I thought I was way better prepared.
  11. For a good receiver with HDMI switching I'd say something along these lines (Onkyo TX-SR606) should work well: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_580TXS606B/Onkyo-TX-SR606-Black.html?o=m&tp=179 I really like the 806 but it's a bit out of your price range (although you may be able to find it somewhere besides Crutchfield for considerably less)
  12. I think that's the same sweet piece I see at the gas station by my house all the time. If so, the rest of the car also looks so beat it almost seems like it was rolled end to end. Do the fog lights have awesome blue lenses?
  13. Agreed I saw that it was skipped and couldn't let it go (blood shot out my nose). What f-in' tv channel is everyone else watching nowadays???
  14. Oddly enough, I had my minivan built by InTents. Same company??? http://blog.makezine.com/p-lot.jpg
  15. Relatively cheap & readily available high octane fuel?
  16. So, am I to understand there will be birthday cake? You know cake is my favorite of the 5 food groups.
  17. Fortunately the greatest thing about Bumbles is that Bumbles bounce.
  18. I hadn't seen this particular setup mentioned anywhere here... I even searched.
  19. I can't believe they're actually selling this thing... and getting all positive (albeit clearly ricetastic) feedback. I'm going to get one so that I can "pass Camaros on the freeway" too. The reviews and some of the Q&A are great. http://www.jcwhitney.com/STREET-FREAKZ-E-TURBO-FORCED-AIR-INDUCTION-SYSTEMS/GP_2011788_N_%2020004495_10101.jcw?refId=20004495&showCustom=0&makeId=33&showAll=1&mediaCode=ZX&modelName=&makeName=Honda&year=&modelId http://www.jcwhitney.com/wcsstore/jcwhitney/images/imagecache/G_21904G_SW_1.jpg;pv02784ed4519715ae
