I would agree that the stroker route is probably the best option. You'll have similar money in it and similar power compared to other options but you end up with a fresh engine and you're not adding more complexity to the Jeep's simple design.

You have probably already tried this, but did you make sure you have the newest version of iTunes installed first? IF you don't it will let you upgrade but will be stuck in emergency mode afterwards until you upgrade iTunes to the newest version and sync.
