  1. Just a guess, but probably the 06 LGT in his avatar. Just guessing though... full of fail.
  2. ...and the lease deal was too good to pass up. http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h92/mallard1055/Volt.jpg This thing is sweet! Just took delivery tonight.
  3. That eagle's thinking, "If this bitch doesn't come to the door soon I'm stealing her cat."
  4. Jeez! Business is booming!

  6. I was perfectly fine after mine. I walked myself out, and was in a swim meet the next day.
  7. All this Dart hate. I actually think it looks pretty good, and the interior isn't bad either.
  8. Apparently an undisclosed location means the Chrysler Chelsea Proving Grounds. I've ripped down most of those roads before. Not sure if it can compete with the Fiesta's, but it will definitely make the RallyCross season interesting.
  9. I totally agree with you. I actually had the wife conviniced for a night, until she told me the mileage is too poor for a daily. Patrick - You can't put a child seat in a FB or FC. There are very few cars that are fun to drive and reasonably priced with a real back seat for children. The RX8's are now in the $8-12k range, which makes them a bargain to me. I could swap an LSx and still be far cheaper than anything that compares. And FB's are ugly.
  10. Good luck. I spent last weekend in the hospital with my 7 month old. That's his second stay in 6 weeks and third trip to the ER (2 in an ambulence). Friday, was my 30th birthday, I rushed him to the ER myself and held him on a bed in the ER while they poked him with needles 6+ times to draw blood (couldn't find a vein, then put the sample in the wrong bottle so they had to do it again), 2 times to get an IV, inserted a catheter, swabbbed his nose twice, did chest xrays, and started giving oral meds. It's hard because they have no idea what's going on and give you that look like, "why are you letting them do this to me!?" I hope she's doing better, and she's in the best place she could be right now. Stay strong, and you and your wife need to support eachother (sounds like you're doing a good job of that). Everyone handles this type of stress differently.
  11. +1 those UR TTGallardo's have incredible acceleration. I can't imagine being behind the wheel.
  12. Netscape LOL It's hard to believe, but my wifes Aunt/Uncle still live in an area where only dial up is available. I would hang myself.
  13. The internet is broken into three main categories: 1) CR 2) Things people on CR post links to 3) Porn (some of which people on CR post links to)
  14. My brother was the same way. He wore coke bottle glasses ever since 1st grade. He was border line legally blind (from what I'm told). Now he's 20/20 and I have to wear glasses.
  15. Maybe they added a zero to the sq. footage by accident. We just put in ~750 sq ft of 3/4" hard maple and it was less than that. I'm interested in the spray foam kits. I've gone around my basement with cans of GREAT STUFF, but I really need to go around and spray everything. On one DIY show they had what looked like a propane tank for a gas grill that was filled with spray foam and had a spray gun attached. Then they returned the empty tank when they were done. I've been looking for a place that does this.
  16. The new car comes with stability control too. That should help the Stig out.

Obama cared too. He sent 100 troops there in October as "advisors" to local authorities. They are instructed not to engage directly, but to support with information, advice, and support. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/obama-sends-100-us-troops-to-uganda-to-combat-lords-resistance-army/

  19. Does it have a robotic Cheetah penis so it can mate with vagina equipped robotic Cheetah's and make mini robot babies?
  20. And yes, you have the PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY when you are having sex, but the pill is prescribed for a variety of reasons, besides preventing pregnancy. There are also studies that show a reduced risk of ovarian cancer due to being on the pill. This is only saying that the individual be OFFERED THE OPTION of a plan that includes this coverage, not that every plan is required to have it. The individual still has the personal responsibility of CHOOSING this plan and PAYING FOR this plan. That's still PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. The state isn't handing out free pills to everyone. Hell, the state isn't buying anyone pills. So you also say that health care is an individual's personal responsibility, which I agree. However, a hospital will not just allow somone to die because they do not have health coverage, then we end up footing the bill. To drive a car you must have insurence, even if you just carry the lowest level available. Should you not be mandated to have some level of health insurence in order to use a hospital? (playing devil's advocate here)
  21. A church, or religious organization, is not required and should not be required to provide this benefit. However, an independent organization, like a hospital, that has the financial support of a religious organization is just that, an independent organization. This law is not prohibiting the free exercise of religion. When the organization is independent, the exercising of religious beliefs is the freedom of the INDIVIDUAL, and individuals are in no way hindered from exercising that right.
  22. Half of you need to READ THE FUCKING ARTICLE! This is not about free, government provided birth control. It's about requiring employers to offer a plan that covers it. As I read it, it does not mean every plan option needs to have it, and it does not mean every individual has to accept that coverage. It's simply one of the options offered. Individuals still have the choice to take birth control based off their own religious beliefs, but why should your beliefs be allowed to make decisions for other people? In the case of organizations supported by religious funds, like hospitals, I don't feel they should be allowed to deny an employee this coverage, since not all employees will have that same religious belief. Would this also mean the hospital wouldn't provide certain treatments to patients? What if the Catholic church didn't believe in life support? Election year politics miss me off. This country never focuses on the REAL issues that matter. We say this is the land of the free, whose laws are governed by the constitution, where there is separation of church and state, freedom from religious persecution. But in reality everyone just wants to legislate their beliefs over the masses. Everyone wants to push through their own agenda, but no one seems to have the country's best interests in mind
