  1. Good to know! Next Thanksgiving of Christmas is the next time I'll be in a hotel. Def. a good rate. Something like $89/night at Christmas time.
  2. I've stayed at a few Garden Inn's, namly the one in Dublin, and while the breakfast was good (free with my HHonors) the room needed to be fixed up a bit. Next time I'm staying at the Embassy Suites next door (also in the Hilton family). I've stayed in a lot of Hampton Inn's and have yet to be disappointed. The same goes for Holiday Inn Express. I've been let down at a lot of Holiday Inn's and don't see the point of the extra expense over the Express. Although, Hilton just changed their rewards program and I am not too happy. I will be staying at a lot more "Priority Club" hotels in the future.
  3. Overall results and see the rest of the article for details. http://www.caranddriver.com/features/lightning-lap-2012-feature-lightning-lap-2012-results-and-sector-times-page-7
  4. The Car and Driver Lightning Lap results came out. The Boss did really well!
  5. Very nice. I love the car. Mazda sent me a similar kit (but not to this extent) when I bought my 'Speed Protege. More companies need to do this with their 'enthusiast' cars.
  6. I thought the same thing, but from the sounds of it they will be going bankrupt and everything will be sold off in order to pay off the investor. I'm sure each jig will end up somewhere, but not all in athe same place, and probably not in the former employee's hands. I have no hard information, but this is where it sounds like it's going.

    C7's

ALL cars go to winter test. ABS, TCS, and ESC all need tuning on snow and ice, plus the powertrain calibators will take cold trips.
  8. They already announced it will be built in Ohio. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/business/2012/01/09/honda-to-build-new-acura-at-new-plant-in-central-ohio.html
  9. That's the one from Ironman, the 'real' next NSX is at the Detroit show right now, and actually looks pretty darn good.
  10. Doesn't sound like that will be happening....probably liquidating to pay the investor back,
  11. It's sad to see this happen. They made very high quality stuff at a reasonable price. All the people that worked there are true enthusiasts, including a close friend of mine that moved down there are director of R&D. It sounds like National Speed would be closing too, but the employees stepped up and bought the company so it would stick around. http://www.momentumperformance.com/
  12. Plus the first one is nasty. It's like black tar stuck all over thier butt.
  13. Except the RX8 seats 4 and has extra doors, making it easier to get a child seat in and out of. If he has a kid he can't drive an S2k or a Z06. (One of the reasons I was looking at them too)
  14. I've liked every Bell's I've ever had, but I've never tried this. Oberon and Winter White used to be regulars of mine. We actually got a keg of Oberon for a party one time. I kept that one hidden in the back.
  15. Congrats and i hope she goes into labor beforehand. It seems to go a lot quicker that way. My wife was 3 days from being induced but went into labor. We were in the delivery room for an hour and he was born after 6 minutes of pushing.
  16. I was surprised at how closesly it followed the Evos concept. I think it looks good and should be a pretty nice car. They're doing a 4 cylinder only line up with the turbo 4 as the top engine. They'll have the hybrid at ~48 mpg and the plug-in version they're claiming will beat the Volt and Prius in MPGe rating.
  17. There is. There is also supposed to be a coupe and wagon. There was a planned convertible but i think it got axed
  18. The Equinox V6 is the 3.0L 260 HP engine, it weighs 4000 lbs, and is geared pretty tall for fuel econ. The V6 is the Equinox is only ~0.1 sec faster 0-60 than the 4 cylinder. The V6 in the Equinox is not worth it unless you need to tow. Even driving a CTS with that engine is a completely different story.
  19. In this segment 3400 lbs for a car like this, with this amount of equipment is good. That's less than a C-class, less than a BMW 335, and in the neighborhood of a 328, depending on what the final figure is. 270 HP out of a 2.0L is still more than most of the competiton, and it can run on regular fuel (premium recommended for max performance). Plus, the engine was tuned for a flat torque curve, so it makes peak torque (260 ft-lbs) from ~2500 rpm to near redline, which on this engine is 6300 rpm. The low redline is mostly due to the fact that the turbo is out of breath on the top end as a result of the fasts spool. 318 HP out of a n/a 6 cylinder is also up there with the best of the competiton. Hyundai upped the ante though but they have more displacement too.
  20. It's 3 series sized, not 1 series.
  21. Not even close. The Regal is a bigger car, so even if you think they visually look similar from these pics, the proportions are way different in person. Not to mention this is RWD and the Regal is FWD.

The word "faggot" has started to become groosly over-used on this forum. It's like I can't read a thread anymore without someone resorting to childish name calling.
