  1. Also, remember, this isn't about mandating birth control for every woman. It's only requiring that employers give their employees the option of a health care plan that covers birth control. This does not necessarily mean that EVERY plan that employer offers will have this coverage, it just has to be one of the options. It's still the patient's choice and it's not tax dollars paying for birth control! If it's your religious belief that BC is wrong, then DON'T CHOOSE IT FOR YOURSELF! It's that simple! Also keep in mind that BC can be prescribed for a variety of reasons besides preventing pregnancy.
  2. Completely agree. Anything that could help most of CR from procreating is a cause I can support. It's not entirely about the government paying for birth control either, it's about requiring employers to carry plans that provide it. Just one sourse I found... http://www.voanews.com/english/news/usa/Access-to-Birth-Control-Sparks-US-Political-Controversy-140939093.html
  3. It was on stock rubber, but the stock rubber is a wide, sticky GY Eagle F1 Supercar and this is the only car currently out with the latest version of Magnaride.
  4. Jones has been calling him all morning. I'm surprised the car wasn't open at the Chicago Auto Show. At Detroit most of their cars, minus the R8 were open, including the TT-RS.
  5. Pretty cool of Audi NA. http://www.quattroworld.com/audi-lifestyle/audi-goes-the-extra-mile-for-loyal-customer/
  6. Yup, it's available on the Caddy ATS, and that car weighs 3300-3400 lbs, which is only 2-300 more than yours. Shouldn't be any less peppy than a Regal GS. Replacement for displacement = boost.

  8. Well, that's happening too. Everything's getting DI, every engine platform is getting boost. The DI V6 is getting boost, the LSx is getting DI, the next 4 cylinder generation is starting to roll out. I would expect the next Camaro to be built off the ATS platform, which allows it to shed quite a bot of weight.
  9. Those Alpha 12's are low 9 second cars. Damn!

    1.4 Turbo

    and they run really hot.

    1.4 Turbo

I *THINK* it's just a torsion beam. And you get different half shafts:
  12. If the next gen loses some weight, which it will, I think it's a good idea. The 2.0L makes decent power, but I still think this car will need larger displacement, like a turbo 2.4 or 2.5L. As it sits, the 2.0L makes great torque, but that's at the expense of top end. With more displacement 300 ft-lbs and 300 HP should be easily reached.

    1.4 Turbo

The 1.4L is a different block than the 2.0/2.2/2.4L Ecotec's, so no parts swapping will happen. As far as mods, it sounds like an intercooler and a tune should be the first things. Trifecta has had some good results with the car, but the only way to get a manual is with the Eco, and that has a different rear suspension.
  14. +1 Very nice ride though. I checked it out pretty good at the NAIAS and I approve. I really like the looks of this gen TT, and the 5 cylinder is mean. Now post a video so we can hear it!
  15. Congrats! Glad she is doing well.

    New RS4

Should have been a hotter 3.0T or a hotter 5 cylinder. Can't argue with a 450 HP 4.2L though. They sound pretty damn good.
  17. I'd go with the Taurus. I absolutely HATE my Altima. The only thing I like is the power of the VQ, but the quality has just been awful on this car. The CVT on the Maxima doesn't bother me though. It's probably the best CVT on the market.
  18. Just like Tesla, the volume was planned to be higher, and the base price was supposed to be lower. Seems they can't control their costs, so the price keeps going up, and they had some supply issues which is keeping the first year volume down. The second and third models are planned for higher volume too, just like Tesla. Their Delaware factory still isn't building cars, so I'm not sure they qualify to draw more of the loan yet.
  19. +100 We always eat at the Cuban restaurant Columbia in St. Armand's Circle. There are great beaches along Siesta Key and Longboat Key. The Mote aquarium was neat. They had some big sea turtles and a dolphin rehab center, in addition to the usual fish, urchin's, etc.
  20. Actually, I would say they are. Especially the Solstice coupes.
  21. I hear ya. I'm in the process of phasing out all wheat from my diet. This is going to be tough. I love MultiGrain Cheerios.
  22. Yes, they have a car every year and are one of the better funded teams. I urge everyone to do FSAE if they are in college for engineering.
