First, the GS starts at $55,720, not $70k. It's BA because it has the Z06 body, brakes, anti-roll bars, a revised suspension tune that many have said is the best ride/handling combo on a C6, launch control, available as a targa or vert, and a dry-sump LS3 (with manual trans). To me, that makes it the best Vette yet, considering everything you're getting at that price.

Except the GS is actually BA.

Just an example, but there's a certain person at Chrysler SRT that put snow tires on a brand new Viper and daily drove it all last winter in Detroit. That car has about the same HP as the ZR1, but at least the ZR1 has traction and stability control. I'm sure the ZR1 would do just fine in the winter. I don't care what side of the fence you're on. They're both amazing cars, and saying the Corvette has poor build quality because Jeremy Clarkson can flex the rear bumper on a C5 is just dumb. You are so dumb. For real.
-
They couldn't do it because with the new rules ESC is required in all cars. That meant that the viper engine would need a new ECU and a complete re-tune, which wasn't a possibility for low production. So instead you get the Drag Pack.
-
But they've only tested around half of the cars out there to the new standard. I still wonder how all the Audi's got the same score as the Hyundai and BMW in front, side, and rollover, but the BMW and Hyundai got an extra star for overall. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/new-nhtsa-safety-ratings/full/#3437444

That TT-S is hot.

I want one! This weekend I saw every flavor of CTS-V on the road; Sedan, coupe, and wagon. Hott.

It's a clutch problem, not a pedal problem. At high RPM's when the clutch is depressed the diaphragm spring/pressure plate does not return after you let off the pedal. This condition is called 'stay out' and changing the pedal will not change anything.
-
After about 300 HP (basic bolt-on's to the stock blower) the build book uses turbo's.

If by "lucky" you mean super smart guy that's made a decent living for himself so he can afford all the toys most people dream about, then yes, he's lucky. Keep it up Kyle. The cars look good.

The '09 Equinox is not new. The '10 Equinox is all new and is pretty darn nice. The '08 Malibu Maxx is now new and was totally redesigned for '09. A Neon? Really, you're going to use that as an example? Things I've been in recently: '10 Equinox, '11 Grand Cherokee, '11 Charger, '11 Challenger, '10 CTS and CTS-V, '10 SRX, '10 Shelby GT500, '10 Mustang GT, '11 Edge, '10 Fusion...and probably more that I don't remember. The point is, all of these are BIG improvements over their previous model. At least go out and sit in the latest models before bashing it.

You obviously don't spend much time inside "new stuff."

I only compare it to the M3 for the performance numbers. Some people that actually track their cars would be swayed by the idea of saving $20-30k on the price of entry. I'm not saying that new 5.0 = M3. I'm saying that new 5.0L /= your typical Mustang, or even typical muscle car for that matter.

M3 performance for half the price. The only cons I see is that there are going to be a million of them on the road, and when you go to a cruise-in you might be approached by (or lumped into) the "typical" Mustang owner crowd. Ford already has a S/C kit from the factory that gives a REALLY nice boost in performance and CAN come with a warranty (if the dealer installs it, but the kit is pricey). I hate Mustangs with every ounce of my being, but I would buy a new 5.0L.

Lifting 500 lbs would get me nowhere in a triathlon. Also, if I had the muscle mass neseccary to lift 500 lbs I would never fit in a kart. Different people, different goals. I have seen plenty of people lose weight by diet and lifting so I don't dispute that. My diet is good and I'm already pretty lean.
-
I have absolutely no desire to lift 500lbs. My goal is to get in better cardiovascular shape (regain the endurance I once had), and gain some strength while I'm at it (regain the strength I once had). My goals seem to align well with a Crossfit program (even though they do some dead lifts and squats), but the P90X should do almost the same thing for me and I can do it at home. I would like to be to be fit enough to do another triathlon. Right now I already have low body fat and I'm in decent shape, but I need to work back to that level.

I saw several brands of door jamp pull up bars at Target for $20, BTW. For $50 you could get a pack with the pull up bar, 'ab straps,' and rotating push up handle grip things.

Yeah, if there were a CrossFit gym near my work that had classes at noon, a shower in the locker room, and didn't cost $150 a month I would do it. I've heard great results with CrossFit and I like that it incorporates gymnastics. Some of the WOD's sound similar to what we would do for 'dry land' swim team practice in high school. But as it stands now, I need something that I can do after work consistantly and cheap, which means setting something up in my basement. Keep me posted Veritas.
-
Can you explain why you say that? I thought they were similar, except that CrossFit is scaled to your fitness level, while P90X isn't (but they scale the workout intensity by having different levels; P90, P90M, P90X, P90X+...)

I need to get in on something like this, since it's something I can do in my house. I was swimming 5 days a week, but then I switched jobs and lost my gym membership. I'm not overweight or out of shape, but I need to increase my strength and endurance.

I miss my Sirius radio so I could listen to Shade 45 all day! Maybe I should have kept my old job.

I hate when people want to put Lil Wayne and Drake in the top tier of rap artists. Drake autotunes everything and he sounds like shit. I have not been impressed with any of his songs and I think his popularity is all hype put out by record labels. Wayne doesn't make sense in almost all of his songs and he giggles at his own lyrical jokes. Sure, he rhymes when he freestyles, but he doesn't make sense. Fuck, he mentioned Space Jam in a song last year! That movie is so old, and it wasn't even good when it came out! Eminem is a better rapper, producer, and free-styler (if that's a word). He's a true artist/lyricist, which you would know if you've ever seen how he compiles his songs. I won't go so far as to say he's the best rapper alive, but he's way ahead of Drake and Wayne. My top 5 alive would be (in no particular order) JayZ, Eminem, Andre 3000, Nas, Dre. I would rather listen to Lil Boosie all day than listen to another Drake/Wayne song.

Thanks, but the last link only tells me what the part is, and I already know that. I would like to know what model it's from. (2005-2007)
