  1. I could get a better rate if I financed with my credit card... http://www.capitalone.com/autoloans/loans/index.php?linkid=WWW_1106_AUTO_09_HOME_C1_03_T_ALNU No credit or not, I think they're screwing you. Do you have any family members that are teachers in Ohio? You can get great rates throught their credit union.
  2. I had a bad experience at both Byers Mazda and Subaru in Dublin. I refuse to ever buy a car from them and all my family and friends are with me.
  3. GMC Acadia, Saturn Outlook, Buick Enclave.
  4. Pull the codes. It should tell you exactly whats wrong. If i know the code that threw the lamp I might be able to give you an idea what happened.
  5. I like them a lot. We've done a lot of testing with them and I was pretty impressed.
  6. If you're set on NASA start with time trial classes, get your license, then move up if you want. Or just buy a kart.
  7. Your name's Chris Titus? http://www.nndb.com/people/919/000050769/chris-titus-fix.jpg
  8. I was in Alaska in November. -25F. Enough said. The week after I left it got to -35.
  9. I've done some NASA HPDE's, I have half of my SCCA license, and I have a kart.
  10. http://www.libraracing.com/rallycarrental.htm Sorry for getting this off topic.
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Focus There was never a production AWD Focus. Not even the RS. evan - Yes, I know about that car. Hyundai also built a handful of AWD turbo (using the 4 cylinder 'beta' engine) rally cars. They brought one of the cars out of retirement for the '06 X-games. I don't think they run Rally America anymore. Dual calipers are worthless, overley complicated, and add extra wieght. I like most of the other stuff they do though. SPLN SUX - No one ever said Volvo's aren't cool. Just not S40's.
  12. Yea, today is "supposed" to be the last warm day for a while. We don't have much of any useful snow surfaces here.
  13. It was 35 degrees when I came in this morning (7 am), which is horrible for snow testing. We got 12-15 inches of snow at the track on Tuedsay night, but that will all be ruined if it stays like this. Hopefully this is the last warm day we have.
  14. Yes, you may be correct, but the Tib I speak of was used in the US Pro Rally series (depending on who it was at the time, Rally America and SCCA) Although the Accent is just another example.
  15. No joke. You think Hyundai ever made an AWD Tiburon turbo for production? There are other examples as well.
  16. Not to stray off topic...but you can not get an AWD Focus ANYWHERE. It's still FWD.
  17. In a full-size that's probably all you can get. I can't think of anything else in a late model pick-up. I do have 2 friends that have new Nissan Frontiers with the NISMO package, 4.0L Vq V6 and a manual transmission. One has a quad cab, the other is a extended so he could get the longer bed. If you don't need a full size truck I would look at one of those.
  18. You're best off trying a Nissan forum for this. My buddy did the swap on his car and there is a lot of information on the net about how to do it. (according to him, haven't talked to him in a few weeks though)
  19. Then why are the new one's 6.0L? http://www.automotive.com/2007/12/cadillac/cts-v/specifications/index.html
  20. He should be happy it has a limp home mode. My co-worker had a failing CPS on a V6 CTS. It would intermittently stall, then be fine in 10 min. It finally died when he was half way across the Mackinac Bridge. (For those who don't know, that's a ~4 mile long bridge that joins the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to the mainland. info
  21. ehh, the ones on the bright red one with the stripes look better in person.
  22. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/12/28/2008-dodge-viper-srt-10-breaks-cover-ahead-of-schedule/
  23. no, valve springs don't get Torrington bearings. I'm just using suspension as an example of how springs rotate when compressed.
