I don't hate Mustangs, but to me that looks like a regular GTO with huge fender flares. I don't see a Mustang at all. If the GTO dimensions are so identical to the 05 Mustang then who copied who? (Seeing as how the Monaro has been out in Austrailia for a lot longer then the Mustang concept has been around.) I also think that in pictures people will see what they want to see. Having passed a group of six 05 Mustang's on 23 around Ann Arbor and walking around one at Woodward, I can say that I don't see the resemblence other then both being RWD coupes.

Critics content its soft, jellybean styling has little in common with the edgy GTO sheet metal of the '70s. The Dream Cruise Edition boasts a new 575-hp V-8, as well as styling more in line with the car that cruised Woodward past. I think they stole the fender flares from my Olds Intrigue.

I need a place to upload it, and a conversion program would be nice. Right now it's ~12MB and 13 seconds long because of the format my digital camara puts it in.

Went to the Woodward Dream Cruise yesterday and caught a glimpse of this car. Looked and sounded great! As I was walking up to it two guys got in it and drove it off. They ended up driving up and down Woodward the rest of the afternoon so I never got to snap a good picture, but I took video of it as it drove out of the lot. Not really a fan of the Vailside kit (or is it a look alike?) even though they're expensive and some people sweat them. But it looks like a pretty complete car. For the right price I'd say go for it.

Going to school in Michigan, I can tell you that it is a big game here too. True, it's hard to match the excitement surrounding the MSU/UM game, but they are damn well close in recent years. I was at the UM/MSU game last year and the campus much resembled OSU's campus during the UM games. When you have two large state colleges as close as MSU and UM there's bound to be a huge rivalry. But UM still takes the OSU game seriously. Hell, last night at the bar, the 40-year-old guy that checked my ID started talking shit to me about Ohio State, just cuz of the Ohio ID. ESPN called it one of greatest sports rivalry’s of all time, and I think they have an outside perspective of things. oh yeah, GO BUCKS!
