  1. I'm trying to remember if the Mineral Grey one that has been at trails a few times has a red snake in the back. That car is a ported and pullied car, with a 4.10 and solid axle. Kid needs a little work on the driving part of it. Funny how people who actually shift these cars are getting 120+ traps out of pullied only cars:)
  2. So 121 with 450 wheel isn't normal?
  3. If it was dark, then it may have looked that way. My friend has a Mineral Grey 01 and in certain light and has a brown tint, but I wouldn't call it brown. What wheels were on the car?
  4. PM 86GT. He has a black 95, but I don't know that he wants to get rid of it.
  5. They didn't make a brown Cobra.
  6. Heard that they will be running again on Saturday weather permitting. It's supposed to be nice again. Too bad the old lady is ready to pop.
  7. That is where Ford should have put the ride height on these cars.
  8. If he goes with the bigger blower, he'll be doing that next year.
  9. Rake? Since when does he drive a Mopar or a Camaro? It doesn't need a rake, it needs a real set of springs and not cutting the factory ones. That being said, the front looks better. I don't know why Ford needed to have so much room there.
  10. Saw them at Riverwatch pre-game for the OSU/Wisconson game. One of my friends was telling me something about naked karate girls and when they came out I realized that was the band name. They were rather funny with the 70's clothes and the ridiculous pelvic thrusting.
  11. No pics of the white 86 on the launch? I'm dissapointed that I missed today. Oh well, next year it is.
  12. I don't know you, but I'm really sorry to hear this. We have a old lab that has been on pain meds for awhile because of her hips and I don't want to think about it. Time heals and eventually you will get a new "friend" to fill that void.
  13. This topic comes up every once in awhile and the posts so far have summed it up. Columbus won't ever be the same as far as street racing with the media being all over any incident. Bad things have happened and politics are involved. That being said, it's too bad you weren't old enough about 8 years ago when my ~280wheel fox body was out running most of the competition. We would hit the East side/West side every dry Friday and Saturday until after the snow had fallen. It was a hell of alot of fun, but the cars were nowhere near as fast and we rarely had any issues. I don't know if you(Dover) ever saw Charter in action, but I have some stories from there that won't be posted. Just relax and realize that a lot of us have grown up and have families now. For me that means that I need to avoid that kind of stuff, unless it's at the track. I'll try and count the number of times my Cobra has been at the track in the past two years and that will have my ass covered as far as racing. I just don't go out looking for "trouble" anymore, because I don't need that now. That being said, this place has always been racing for the few and shit talking for the rest. It's just too bad that everyone gets so defensive/fired up over little shit now and it all gets deleted by the mods Enjoy.
  14. No need to get defensive. I know what your car made before. I used to see it at the track way back then. I'm just saying that it seems like everyone and their brother is knocking blower cars lately and it makes me laugh. I would have liked to have ridden in your car before it blew to see how it felt in comparison to some of the other blower cars running around. I guess I'll have to wait for the built version of it
  15. Just wanted to make sure that you are seeing this again. In for porn!!!!
  16. This old thread revisited, huh? It's still true, but what fun is it when all the talk is racing? Oh, that's right, they get rid of all of that fun stuff too. Shit. Nevermind.
  17. When you have non-driver A let off of the gas and take time to shift in the turbo car how long does it take to come back into boost? How about the same with the vortech car? We can do this all day. Bottom line is that both cars make good power and I personally would take the blower car. Too many turbo boys running around these days. I care because people are comparing boost #'s and not flow #'s. If the turbo is pushing more air through, then it will make more power with less boost. Both are fun, but I'll take the blower car with a bigger version of the vortech. Of course that's with a good bottom end.
  18. Waste of money? Do you know how many people are going to have to go out and buy this jersey as soon as it hits the shelf? I wouldn't buy one with your money, but I'm sure everyone will buy it up once it's for sale. Just look at the ugly ass Steelers throwbacks. Everyone and their brother got one of those.
  19. Heres a random thought, what CFM does each produce? I'd rather know the amount of air moving and not the PSI at this point. Both seem to be doing a decent job of making power too. How about a rematch when both of these have built motors? That should be fun.
  20. Not positive on this, but I think Summit sold them as Trick Flow pieces at some point and I don't remember them being that expensive. All of 30 seconds over there and.....http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TFS-51400265/ I believe this is what you need and definitely cheaper than 21 a piece. Enjoy.
