If you do get a locker for a 2wd spend extra money for a selectable model. A true locker will destroy your tires very fast on dry pavement and can easily cause you to spin out on wet/icy pavement. My mud truck simply has its differential carrier welded so that the spider gears are a big blob of metal (lincoln locker.) Thats the cheapest way to go, but I'd never do that to anything except a dedicated offroad vehicle. Last winter in the big snow my offroader got to pull another truck out of a huge ditch while climbing the road bank on the opposite side at a 45 deg angle to the incline. Luckily the ground wasn't totally frozen during that storm so my 38" boggers had some nice soft ground to eat.

Those cats used to roam the washington/athens county boarder. I've seen them more than once at my grandparents house. You could also hear them sometimes right as it was getting dark. That used to send us all running for a car/house.

Dude as much as you like this stuff you really need to go with me sometime on one of my trips. I was just crawling around the Blackwater Falls area of West Virgina a couple weekends ago. Been wanting to get back to hocking hills and probably the New River Gorge area asap. My wife likes to look around, but growing up in my house it was required that we be geology nerds:-) Oh and I could take you to some places down on the Washington/Athens county line that haven't been touched by people other than my family for probably 100 years. Also look up the "Ladd Natural Bridge." My family owns the land its on.

Blah snows been coming down at my house all day. Not sticking yet though:-( In winter the skies get a lot clearer so I usually get my telescope out and freeze to near death.

Really the rates don't look so bad. I find it cool how I can look at this chart and see one thing and Eric can look at it and see something else. Any lower and wages start going up and it becomes increasingly difficult to hold inflation at a steady rate of 1-2% (yes they try to keep it at that rate as well.)

Your exactly right. I guess we should go take back all those Ipods that poor people bought and caused Apple to get back on the map as a profitable company and great stock to invest in over the past 5 years. That is what American is all about. People can buy worthless crap while still maintaining their "poor" lifestyle. I feel so bad for them:-)

The thing that pissed me off the most about this is the fact that McCain was actually investigated by congress to see if he qualified as a US citizen. Both of McCains parents were US citizens living on a US military base in Central America at the time of his birth. Nothing wrong with that. Now on to Barack Hussein Obama (hehe not trying any racial things here, but thats not a name I run into at work unless I'm working on the copier at the Somali schools off morse rd.) His father, not a citizen. His mother moved out of country at around 18, gave birth to him, married some other dude also not a citizen and lived in Indonesia. The law does clearly state, "If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least 10 years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16." I just want Barrak investigated as well, by a similar congressional panel. That is all. If he's found legal then he's legal. If not then I'm not convinced.

I don't care if you don't believe anything else I say on the interwebz, but believe me when I say that people who pay NO TAXES do in fact get money if they bother to file income tax forums. I've stated before I have several family members who do just that every tax season. If I have to I'll post a copy of some of their income tax worksheets. Pisses me off every time I think about the "redistribution of wealth." Wow I just wanna go pwn a homeless person now:-) The worst offenders in my family collect welfare checks every month and then also get a couple thousand bucks at tax time.

Well if your legally were you are supposed to be there is this thing call a provisional ballot. I've filled them out before since I did move around a few times when I was young (hehe I made it to 30.)
