you might check to make sure the +12V and the memory 12V wires are connected right. It could be that your plugged in to something like a security system or something. Evan

I agree. If the manfacturers thought it would damage it they should have prevented it. That would be my ruling. You know thats a neat thought. Why can cars go over the speed limit anyway. Whats the point of my GMC truck having a speed limiter of 105MPH if the state limits are around 30MPH slow then that. Why not just be able to get to your limit fast instead of exceeding it. No matter how this device works it will have to have an EEPROM in it. There are many many ways to disable it. You could even screw with the data that it is recieving if you wanted. If all else fails you could install a push button or something to allow you to erase the EEPROM or in a worst case scenario like right after an accident you could tap a 12volt source or coil lead to cause a failure of the chip altogether. You see these are just ways I've come up with in about 3 minutes. If anyones serious about it let me know and I'll come up with alot of things and it can be built. I have hacked HP laserjets, and Ricoh copy machines to do this type of stuff for work. Evan

You can go to www.spaceweather.com to see information on the probability of them happening each day. Also other cool information on sun spots and asteroids. If you want a nice place to view the sky from in central ohio I usually go up to alum creek lake. I set my telescope up at the boat dock parking lot just north of Cheshire Rd on the east side of the lake. I haven't been there in awhile though. It gets boring by yourself and my wife doesn't like astronomy at all. I just checked the site and it looks like we will be getting more in the next day or so. Evan

The wife and I are looking into getting a new television. I don't really want one with its own speakers. I hate those damn things built into the sides of all the new types. I'd like it to actually be big not look big because of the speakers. Anyone know a make/model I should look at. Also not looking for a hugh screen. My living room isn't that big. Where I come from the first thing a school threatens to cut from the budget is the sports programs. No kidding. Warren schools have made only one threat each time they need money and they say if they don't get the levy passed they will cut the football, baseball, and basketball programs. Why in the hell would you threaten to cut something that generates money? I was home schooled, but I was a bit different than most. My mother realised that I wasn't going to do any type of school assignments no matter what anyone tried to do so they let me do what ever I wanted to do. It ended up being computer programming, physics, astronomy, cars, mathematics, world history, world phylosophies. I'm sure you can tell I didn't spend much time with spelling or gramar, but oh well. Who ever said the kids are getting an education now? I see all this talk about how dumb kids are these days. School is just a government run babysitter. It needs revamped badly. Maybe the school system could be there to identify and help a child in there interests instead of teaching according to a system that is designed mostly to pass children to the next level. Evan

Usually a metallica shirt or some other total hick cloths I picked up at a yard sale for a few dollars for a hole damn trash bag full. I never did really care what I wore or what people thought of me. If they wanted to start shit about my cloths it really didn't bother me. Now I'm married so I only have to worry about it when the wife wants me to. IE a wedding or something. I used to like people to start shit. I love animals. Always had cats and dogs growing up. I don't see an amimals life as important as a human. I enjoy them while they last and have had alot of them die. I don't have alot of compasion for things since you can't stop life or death you just except it and look on the bright side. Like how you don't just go around landing your truck on dogs everyday so you might as well laugh about it. Evan

I agree that parents of children should pay for there childrens education. If they did I'm sure they'd not only pay more attention to what was going on with it, but they would also help out. For those people that just can't afford it they are probably not trying hard enough IMO. The people could get help under these conditions. 1) Parents are unable to work or no parents exsist 2) Parents unable to work would have to take drug tests on some schedule 3) Children would have to show a certain level of interest in learning. If any of these are not met then I have only one thing to say. They will have to learn to work harder until they learn to work smarter. Look at the Mexicans comming into this country right now. Do you think they are comming here and going to college and getting administration and high tech jobs in this country. Hell no they are working there asses off to better there life and the lives of there children. Of course maybe for all there efforts there children still won't be able to go to college, but guess what! There children will learn our language really well. They will learn our culture really well. They will probably learn enough skills to get a better job then there father did and eventually there family line may have a child grow up to run America. Its not all about me me me now now now. Its just hard work and seeing past your life. My own example. I grew up somewhere where after highschool all you had to look forward to was starting out in a $6 to 7 dollar an hour job at best. With a 4 year degree you could exspect around $10. My father didn't go to college. He got did luck into a company that pays hard workers good. He's been a heavy equipment mechanic for over 30 years in the same job. None of his family or my moms family ever when to college. The closest thing is military service. I grew up got tired of $7.50 an hour and moved(read that changed my situation) and now make as much as my dad does now after just starting a new job. So you see people just need to see what they want out of life. Do they want to party? They can do that on $5 bucks an hour. Wanna better your families life then work hard. Evan

The scout was totally worthless offroad and the bronco was a little stronger, but still the entire stock driveline was a weak link so swapping a 302 and trany/tcase and swapping out the front and rear ends is the only way to reliably wheel one. Well I didn't go to school. Like I said I didn't finish the 5th grade. Of course it definately shows in my spelling, but life ain't just about spelling. I also have no GED or HS diploma. I did attend college for a little while, but then found a pretty good job at the time and stopped going. When I enrolled in college I didn't need a GED or diploma or anything. I just took an entrance exam and tested out of 80% of the classes for the program I was enrolling in. I've had quite a few jobs over the years and none of them cared that I didn't go to HS or have a GED. These were not simple jobs either. Most were either software/hardware support or level 3 field service positions as well as some programing stuff. So you see I don't agree that the educational system is necessary at all and therefore do not support any increase in there funds. People will only learn if there interested. Evan

While driving my toyota truck way to fast out the back roads near Marietta I once landed the truck on top of a dog. That was awesome. I jumped it a good 5 to 8 feet and on the landing I noticed my drivers front tire landing on a large dog. Very funny hearing the short yelp and then the rear tire hit it and I about rolled the truck from the bounch. BTW The tire type was Ground Hawg mud terrains so the dog got really mangled by the tread pattern. Evan

Alright you dumb fuckers that think I must be some rich fuck to live in westerville. WTF I moved hear from near Marietta, OH assholes! There probably isn't anyone within 1 mile of me in westerville making over 70K a year. Just move! thats a pretty dumb idea. No matter where you live taxes are just as bad. In the Warren school district about 10 miles out of marietta, OH there taxes are higher then westerville. The problem there is there are alot of land owners so not as much population. The school doesn't need more fucking money all the time. I can't wait to vote Ken Blackwell into office so we can get rid of the property tax system all together so that dumbass poor people that crank out babies by the dozens will have to pay there fair share too. I spend alot of days walking around OSU medical center closing covers on Fax machines and copiers because the doctors, nurses, and pharmisists can't follow simple instructions given to them by a magical box.
