Tonight my wife and I were comming back from supper and I turned on to dempsey rd off of St Rt 3. "You know the only little hill in Westerville." Well in front of me was a probably around 2000 mustang that couldn't make it up the "hill." I was in my 2WD fullsize truck with the 275x65 tires so I wasn't in great shape, but I drove around him and turned into a parkinglot to watch and maybe even provide assistance. Well the driver kept trying to move forward and was doing it very slowly. I was pointing out things to my wife at this time about how only one of his tires was spinning. He would have made it alot easier if he'd, 1 gave it any gas at all and 2 set the parking brake a little bit to get both rear tires to turn. I even went back around to show my wife how to get it going even after stopping on the hill and didn't have much trouble. I just hit the gas and fishtaled it to the top. I was driving my FWD corolla earlier today on it and had to rock the steering wheel back and forth to get the front tires to grab, but not much trouble either. Evan

Audi must have there coolant on the same rack most parts stores stock the blinker fluid on. Evan

Well scrooge the resister isn't located in the engine bay on a heater box because this truck doesn't have any enviro stuff in the engine bay. The place you describe is the same place the manuals say, but this truck only has 2 coolant hoses going through the firewall. Sucks don't it. Yeah I don't really want to buy that heater/ac control module from the dealer $150. I've checked junkyards, but haven't found any that have people willing to anwser questions. I've also never need late model trucks in junkyards. Evan

Sinces I've seen a few I'd say its contaminated CV axle grease. If the boot gets water in it it will mix with the grease and you get exactly what you are seeing. If not and thats a manual transmission then its gear oil and you need a new seal and change that shit because its really bad. Evan

I'm guessing you have a job. If you have had it for over a year then that will make a big difference to them. Evan

On the radio they said he took money. All I can say is haha. Its insane how the players are treated. I'm not at all a sports fan so I don't give a rats ass. Evan

Sounds european to me. I'd think that a T-stat would be the usual $4 and maybe $20 in coolant if you did it yourself. Evan

Yeah you may not be in a bad of trouble as you think. On the trails we hydrolock engines all the time. We just change the oil out a few times and they run fine. If you drove it a long way doing this it may need a valve job, but the internal damage will only happen after you fix it. The bearings could rust and cause a connecting rod failure or something. I'd say fix the leaks and flush it a few times. Evan

What is the most likely problem with my `95 GMC truck? The blower motor under the dash doesn't work right. List of problems; won't come on, comes on weak even on the high setting, if I hit it it will run really good and eventualy weaken and go off. Same thing happens when I hit bumps. I'd guess it could be a grounding problem, but I also notice other strange voltages in other systems while its doing its thing which leads me to think that the problem is a +12 short also. anyone wanna tell me where the blower resistor is located on a 1995 GMC serria truck. You'll need a factory manual to find it since its a bastard year and the haynes manuals cover `94 and 96 and assume 95 is similar. Evan

Can you discribe the problem better? Evan

I like using a pipe wrench, propane torch, or vise grips on the really tuff bolts. If you ain't got many tools a good set with a little bit of everything would be a good start. Also the tool cases alot of those sets come in are pretty much junk unless its a metal tool box. Evan

A good cheap snow tire is the wintermarks. There old school, but work great in the hills near Marietta. They are pretty tough, have a narrow width, and are already set up for spikes if necessary. Also about the narrow width. If you find you need more traction you can always lower the air pressure. I wouldn't go lower than 10 or 12 psi though. Evan

Whats the old gear ratio? Evan

No shit. 90% of the people out there when I'm hauling something on my trailer are total assholes. Luckily it does stop at least as good as the truck empty. I really hate when I'm trying to manuever into my driveway in westerville with it. Its amazing how your own neighbors will treat you once they get in a car. They always get right under the nose of my truck and as a move a little they move in closer. Sometimes I just get out and inspect my truck/trailer with it blocking the whole road. Evan

Thats awesome. That was some good thinking. Evan

2 winters ago was the worse I've seen since I moved up here. I was frequently stuck in traffic on my way to and from work for more than 2 hours. The same trip takes 10 to 15 minutes with light traffic. Evan

Who cares if that engine has a bore/stroke the same as a 383. The 22R also does. Most anything thats over 2L will have a similar bore/stroke. a 2.4L is still not a 6L though:) Oh and shit breaks all the time. I agree if it doesn't break your not hard enough on it. 1) your not running it hard enough 2) you have superior parts 3) you have worn the parts out to the max I see it all the time on the trails Evan

I worked for Sarcom for awhile. I saw there business as a great way to rob companies of there profits. IE over at Ashland Chemical they'd have a HP LJ 5si needing feed tires so instead of replacing 4 3 dollar parts the manager of the account would talk them into replacing the machine with a damned Deskjet. I was at Nationwide too and I ain't gonna say in public what I saw go on there.

Them not running away fast or pissing themselves kinda makes me think it wasn't a grenade, but something less dangerous. Yeah it could have went real bad for them. Evan

Haha level 1 techs ^^^^ I always hated that shit. You aren't allowed to do much of anything except bump it up to the next group. Luckily I'm in level 3 field service now so I'm the one man army. Sucks that I carry parts for probably 200 products in my DD all the time. Evan

Yeah columbus winter drivers are dumb fucks, I hate tailgaters too, but I really hate the ones that flash there highbeams at you when your already doing 85 in the left lane. Dumb fucks actually thinks that if your already violating the speed limit you should obey the "pass only on the left rule thingy" Is there really a rule for that? If so I still don't give a shit. I'll be driving +800 miles this weekend and I'll do it all the in the far left lane. Evan

I agree terraserver is a good site I use it to find hidden trails all over southern ohio. Evan
