    School levy's

What the hell is it with people voting to pass school levy's in Westerville. Since I moved up here a few years ago no levy has failed. I did my part I voted against every one of the damn things. You'd think people in westerville don't actually pay property taxes or something. Last time I checked there weren't that many apartments or trailer parks in westerville. Fuck the school system. Do they actually need the money or are they just betting on more each time they can. I could totally understand if "We the people" were allowed to see the budget and balance it ourselves. I could understand if the money would actually help the dumbass kids in these schools, but I'm a firm believer in "you will learn if your interested" not "throw more money and your kids get smarter" Oh and one more fucking stupid thing. I know over a year ago it was ruled by the Ohio supreme court that the current school funding system doesn't work and doesn't represent the people properly. The government has not complied with 2 or 3 court orders now to work to change the system. WTF!!! Evan
  2. The reason Kerry didn't define who he was is because he doesn't seem to know or at least he doesn't have a stance on anything if something else comes up he switches sides. It must be because he's the french looking candidate:) Evan
  3. You know if you really hate the drive you could change to route to get there. You know make the trip down there take longer, but you get to drive fast and scenic all the way. I'd start by taking I-70 to SR 13 (You could cut all highway driving by using US 40(National Scenic Route) to SR 13.) drive on it for a long ass ways until you get to SR 37 and drive on it until you hit Malta at SR 60. Take SR 60 to SR 676 into Marietta. Then take SR 7 to SR 26. Have fun. 13 and 37 are rolling hills, corn fields, and turns along with great scenery of some reclaimed mine lands, and some covered bridges and farm houses. SR 60 is pretty straight forward, but 676 is awesome. Very hard turns with 5 to 10 deg banks in the bigger ones. 676 and 26 are roads where my GPS is my best friend. If your looking for more trouble in a crappier car with AWD or something you could run SR 555 from I-70 to the Ohio River. It takes over 3 hours driving very hard. Lots of severe jumps and turns along with gravel in some of the turns. Want any more info or GPS tracks let me know. Evan

    Vote

I enjoyed the wait. It was nice to see alot of people out to vote.
  5. I guess I'll help out the truck guys. I'm pretty open about trucks. DO NOT DISPUTE THAT MIKE STARTED HIS TRUCK WITH THE HOOD UNDER WATER. It did stall for several seconds. Long enough for the hood to get covered. It did start and run pretty bad and clear up. As for the Titan. I don't know much about it, but I do know there isn't currently anything bigger than a 1/2 ton model. They are rated to pull just a little less than a 1/2 ton ford or chevy The Tundra is definately a fullsized pickup. Its rated to pull around the same as the 1/2 fords and chevys. If the fords or chevys have towing packages installed they do tow a great deal more. It also has similar inside and outside dimensions and wheelbase. I agree. The big 3 don't like competition. Can we blame them. Look what happened after 1979 when toyota introduced there compact pickups to the US. A fact. Nissian in the world market is below Toyota and Isuzu for truck sales. Isuzu actually does beat out Toyota also. Toyotas biggest mistake with the Tacoma line was dropping the 1 ton chassis in favor of saving money. Don't know if you knew it or not, but most toyota trucks sold in the US from 1986 on were 3/4 ton trucks with the ability to be converted to 1 tons by swapping the rear end gears and rear springs. Toyota also offered 1 ton dually models for RV's, and box trucks. Evan

    new car

graemlins/supergay.gif Wow! I can't believe I just saw someone post that. I guess if by offroading you mean going into a parking lot. Seriously though. No car based SUV in the world could ever go offroading and survive even our "Open to the public" novice rides. No ground clearance, no room for improvement, and no aftermarket offroad enhancement parts. Evan

    new car

Now thats some shit. Since when does this class of SUV even get measured in offroad ability. If he's even considering one he's not thinking about getting a 4x4. Just something mall rated enough to get out of a wet parking lot. Evan
  8. You could always weld the spider gears and side gears together and to the carrier. Evan
  9. I used to live out there. Thats a few nice road. I ran it from Marietta to Woodsfield a few times a week for a couple of months. That is also the area my 4x4 club goes riding in. Evan
  10. Reread my post dude she loves the truck enough that she's always driving it. I'm left with the corolla wagon most of the time. At least she can't drive my big toyota, but its not even close to road legal. Evan
  11. Great purchase. My wife won't let me drive my fullsize she's always in it. Evan
  12. So thats where you were today. I was looking for you on AIM to see if you wanted to mess with the RX-7 engine removal. Evan
  13. Hey man. You needing another tow. Let me know if you decide to do it. Evan
  14. Looks like I found the misfiring problem with the Kia. It is the #1 fuel injector. Anyone know how many cars share the same type. I looked it up on advanceautoparts and its around $300. This is a junker thats going to be sold so I'd rather get it at U-wrench it. Evan
  15. Well the price may be right as far as GM trucks go. They have a pretty high price on there Heavy Duty fullsize trucks as it is. There is a major jump from there W/T model to there 3500HD. I agree the price is to high. I understand why the HD's are more expensive there is alot of serious stuff added to help them haul 16K loads, but the SS is just a marginally faster truck that looks better. Evan
  16. I see it everyday. People have no problem getting right under my bumper so that I can't see there front end anymore and I'll be going 75 and they won't pass on the left. They just flash head lights swirve around and honk. Evan
  17. You scored -18% You are a respectable tuner. You probably subscribe to one or more tuner magazines and know, quite a bit about your car and/or racing in general. Either that or you play a shitload of GT3. At any rate, you recognize the difference between a wastegate and a blow-off valve. In time, and with practice, you may attain "Racer X" status since it is supposed that you are relatively new to tuning and still have much to learn. Keep, working, and thank the maker that you're not a ricer. Nothing on there about real cars anyway:)
  18. I've been reading some stuff from this site and others on and off over the past few months. http://www.americanantigravity.com/index.shtml Does anyone have anything to add about this stuff. It seems most of the researchers that do it are a little crazy. I guess its getting more attention in recent years though. Evan
  19. The only dodge truck I like has the turbo cummins inline 6. Thats it. Other than that mopar sucks. Evan
  20. ^^^ right on. I always do mine both ways and for me there usually isn't much diference. Hopefully this year I'm n the plus side though. Evan

    Offroading

You can join the message board free. Joining the club will cost $36 for the first year and $25 after that. or a one time payment of $125. Evan
  22. GM needs to get some balls about putting out cars. Ford has a customer base that thinks a rebadge makes a different car. And its damn sad that Chrysler has always been the ones to put there necks out for the chopping. Chrysler makes of the harders to work on POS cars out there. Evan

    Offroading

There is no where to ride within the columbus area. If you want you could hook up with my club on a ride and see how you like it. If your really not wanting body damage or severe breakage you should stay away from club rides and do one of our Novice rides in April or August. We ride typically 2 hours from columbus. Evan
  24. Mike was talking about Grassroots Motorsports. That sounds like something I could enjoy. I like shit cheap. Don't like breaking expensive parts
