Its at Cardinal Campground off the I-71/SR 61 exit #140. I'll be there all day on the 27th. Its a neat little show with lots of vendors if your into military gear (cloths, alice packs, etc are very cheap at these shows if your into that.) I believe there is a small parking fee.

Yeah, a polarizing filter would have fixed all the horrible reflections too.

Enjoy the baby times it seems like forever and a hassle, but he'll grow up fast and you'll miss it. Help change those diapers too, wife will love you for it.

Yeah, houses and the "no joy" spending you speak of are annoying. We're planning to be out of ours and back to condo living soon. Would much rather be spending money on enjoyable things and saving it.

As the sun was setting I got some decent photos of the rotating thunderstorm that was causing all the panic. It passed directly over my house. Just as it passed a really nice inflow cloud formed. I'm very busy so I might not get around to posting photos this week, we'll see.

Gotta watch those refi ads on the radio, quicken and first option lending come to mind. They get you a good rate but in return your almost handing them a blank check when it comes to the fees they tack on. Wife and I talked to them and she did mortgages for a living. They were going to add around $15,000 into the loan and were calling that the fee they get for doing it.

If you got papers proving it then forward them copies if you care. If its not on your credit report anyway then who cares.

Not sure about other states, but Ohio only requires "a mirror with a clear view to the rear." Still if my sideview is going to be a camera it better be real time with no possibility of lag and I'd prefer them be above the dash more in line with the horizon than down by the speedo.

Yeah, Joann's, Micheal's, Hobby Lobby might have it too.

Here's part of a tree I removed with my Deuce last summer. I put the truck in view for a nice size reference. Neighbor was trying to move it with a 1/2 ton. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/EWhytsell/M35A2/8cdaf561-cf80-4d4d-98df-c2b327c3cb81_zpsa443c95e.jpg

Good point, the IRS treats mutual funds held and sold within the same year as income rather than capital gains rate (15%). Looks like any other penalties/fees will be in the prospectus of each mutual fund and should be reviewed before purchase. These will vary by fund. I'm not sure if annuities have penalties or long time limits, but if your looking for something safer than a mutual fund (with obviously lower gains) then you might look at those at your favorite bank. Typically the one making the money with them is the bank though and your supposed to enjoy a small gain plus relative safety. Personally if you want reasonably managed risk I'd still go with a highly aggressive fund with one of the top rated fund companies. In a recovering economy such as this 15-85% gain is possible, no guarantees though. Most of the time mutual funds are spread well enough to minimize downside, except in the case of our recent bubbles. Even then a top mutual fund probably lost 15% yearly while the broad market was cut by 2/3's in the housing recession.

I'll try to remember to check with my wife. I keep hearing that our girls have a crap load of stuff that needs gone.

How much time do you spend infront of the TV a day?

I pretty much sit down late at night for a star trek or something before bed. -
Mutual funds do have a small penalty for being withdrawn within I think 90 or 180 days. I don't think ETFs have any penalty. I'm not real familiar with either though.

I got off to a slow start in my earlier years, but always had some money to learn the market with. Now I'm on the same road as you and have 5, 10 years and beyond plans laid out and working. It will be an interesting story that I'll someday tell, but for now I can't say much.

If you do go the mutual fund route pm me for a good entry point. I wouldn't say now is the best time, but a few weeks will change things.

Stay out of gold/silver right now for long term though right now might be a good time for some quick profit 2-3 months. Summer is upon us so the market is at its peak right now and will settle over the next couple of months as people take vacations, schools are closed and some smart money will be protecting assets in gold etc until fall. Summer typically is a time of reduced trade volume which causes stocks to lose value during smaller movements. You could probably put your money into a very aggressive mutual fund or similar that tracks the S&P500. Weighted heavily in mid and large cap US companies. You'd probably do alright and you could pull it out anytime you wanted. Personally I think we're gonna see a continuing slow rise in the economy. I'd say recovery is mostly over and we are somewhere in the middle so there will be corrections and even recession at some point, but I don't have any data to support any of that at this time. I do believe the changes to US health care will be a catalyst to possible recession. As always my expertise is in intraday trading and I only keep a loose eye on long term situations to determine market direction and DO NOT typically make long term investments (I call long term "holding over night") If you want to go super risk I got some insider knowledge of the current oil drilling occuring in Eastern and Southeastern Ohio and we could probably come up with a company involved that could remain legit long enough to make some good profit, but you could just as easily lose a good portion of your investment.

I forgot to mention they don't have money to maintain a needy car which also supports my toyota suggestion.

Our Babysitter has a daughter in college here local that needs a car. Currently she's driving a 1996 Honda Accord that is falling apart and I help all I can with fixing it. She recently came into enough money to replace it with something else 5-6K range. My opinion is get the best deal on a Corolla or Camry that she can find. They don't mind honda either, but the car must be dead reliable so my opinion leaves only toyota, but I'm biased due to my long history of reliable toyota cars and trucks, I beat my corollas to death and they keep on going. Any other ideas?

Which trading services? TD Ameritrade? Scott Trade? Fidelity? Other

Some firms have hidden fees, especially when trading very cheap stocks and lesser known ones so you have to watch out for that. I trade a lot of things that are high enough risk to make your 401k adviser puke and its always 7 bucks. -

I use scottrade, they are cheap, fast, have great software including mobile. I do enough trades and have enough money with them that I get free access to their level two data and ELITE software. Very useful for serious day trading. If you go with them let me know I'll give a referral code for a few free trades for both of us. Also the local offices are friendly and knowledgeable at least at westerville. -
Wow, family make great enemies. From my wifes banking background the money is hers as well so if they hide it your sol. Maybe the police can get some jail time involved.

Steam Pots to go is an awesome way to get some seafood. http://steamerstogo.com/menu/steamer-pots/ Its in corolla near the offroad beach and they also have some of the biggest and best shrimp I've ever had. This year my family is going with my parents, my brother and his kids, we're staying in Kill Devil Hills. When its just my family we stay at the offroad beach up north. We always drive NC 12 as far as it can go, from the offroad beach on the VA boarder down to Cape Hatteras. Some of my family have been on Ocrakoke, I myself have not yet, but might do the ferry ride this year.

I'm headed there in two weeks myself and have been going since the late'80s. It's more of a sight seeing place and family oriented. Not great variety on food places, but captain georges buffet is worth the trip itself. Take a 4x4 and explore the offroad beaches and you never know when you'll stumble upon a newly uncovered shipwreck, sea turtle nest, or wild horses.
