  1. Dehydration plays a mojor roll in hangovers. Always drink some water while you are drinking. When you are done drinking, drink more water and take a couple of aspirin/tylenol. If you do not drink water and take the aspirin before bed, you are guaranteeing a headache. The sour stomach is usually caused by gas and excess stomach acid. I almost always eat a solid meal and then take a Zantac before going out. And yes, age plays a significant roll in it as well. Most predominately with draft beer. When you are 16-24 your body can process the alcohol and other "toxins" quickly. As you age your metabolism slows. So what does this have to do with beer? Keg/Draft Beer is unpasteurized and carries impurities. These will magnify the effects of a hangover by further taxing your liver and kidneys. The tannins in red wine have the same effect, but also magnify the headache as well. Vodka is the purest alcohol, and if consumed in equal quantities (alcohol by volume) as beer, Wine, Bourbon, etc., the hangover will be markedly milder.
  2. The only "concern" I have seen with switching from Dino juice to synthetic oil has been with leaks. If you are leaking oil using regular motor oil, you will leak at a larger rate with synthetic. The smaller molecule size and penetrating properties of synthetic oil make leaks worse. "Depending on the type of oil you choose, you can get a guarantee between 150,000 miles and 300,000 miles, the car must be a 1990 model or newer, you must sign up with no more than 75,000 miles on the odometer, engine oil viscosity and fill level must match the manufacturers specifications, you or a qualified Valvoline oil change station must do the work, including new filter, at 3000 miles intervals with a 1000 mile grace period (so up to 4000 miles between changes), you must register the date of changes and keep all the appropriate receipts. You do have to do regular scheduled maintenance as suggested by the manufacturer as well. That's pretty much it. If the engine fails somewhere along the way and under Valvoline's guarantee, they'll pay up to $5,000 to replace it. Considering it takes most Americans 25 years to put 300,000 miles on a car (and the program only lasts till 2029), you can screw up on any of the conditions a few times, but overall, it seems like a pretty darn solid proposal. Of course, most Americans don't keep their cars for 300,000 miles and certainly don't change their oil or keep records with the religious zeal necessary to keep up on the requirements, but still, not too bad since you'll be changing your oil anyway. And no, you cannot go racing with this guarantee, we thought the same thing."

  4. Your 14 months of membership, and 300 posts, have made your existence here any less of a joke?

  6. Just thinking about when the Kenny/Henderson store had phones on all the tables. They mounted the table #s above the lamps and you could just dial any table you wanted. What a great way to meet womenz! I did some serious drunk dialing back in the day. It also had a killer Pasta and Raw bar. Sunday Jazz nights use to pack them in. Oh, I can't even begin to count up the opportunities I had....
  7. You choad! M&Es was founded, and is headquartered, in Cbus. This is a 37 years old institution who has done great things for the community. In fact, the same year that Max and Erma's was incorporated (1972), was the the last time your haircut, and wannabe mustache, were in fashion.
  8. It's not so much "inside information". After filing bankruptcy, they have been trying unsuccessfully to put on a 'good face' saying they are not going to collapse. The writing is on the wall people. You may want o get there one last time before they shut the doors. I worked at several (4) locations while in college. I still eat there at least a couple times a month.
  9. Another Ferrari? Really? This one appeared yesterday at the front door at work. I guess when you are 5'5" tall, and a Michigan fan, you need to make up for A LOT! http://usera.ImageCave.com/Rotarded/casiani.JPG
  10. I'm still trying to figure out how to pull this one off: http://usera.ImageCave.com/Rotarded/garfield.JPG
  11. Kompressor = Supercharged Umm......Pulley/intake/exhaust/tune = $3000 = 40hp FAIL! Nice pick-up Hal! Welcome to the family. You will want to get some winter rims and tires because these cars SUCK in the snow. Mine sucks in the rain with my 18's on. Dunlop Wintersports FTW!
  12. My personal record: 128 hours in one week, 212 hours in the two week pay period. I was salary, working two jobs simultaneously, and received no bonus. I have worked 25 Memorial Tournaments, EACH OVER 95 hours for the week. 20 of them I was between $10 and $16.50 hourly (normally), and RAPED overtime at time and a half. The last 5 have been salary. I make some of this up in January, February, and March where I still draw full salary, yet work less than 25 hours a week.
  13. You can get BALLER watches on Craigslist! http://columbus.craigslist.org/jwl/1405981646.html http://columbus.craigslist.org/jwl/1410486607.html http://columbus.craigslist.org/jwl/1433113353.html http://columbus.craigslist.org/jwl/1428669096.html What a load of craptastic cheap shit!

  16. It doesn't need a prop to fly, just a enough air flow underneath, to create low pressure, and it will leave the ground. The takeoff speed of a Boeing 747 fully loaded (800,000 lbs) is 180mph.
  17. Win me some drums playing poker and I will bang the skins all you want.
  18. Sometimes all it takes is someone spraying tire-shine (silicone) in a nearby area and your fucked. I've seen it happen to every body shop our company had.
  19. No, and Yes Yes, but you want to make sure the sub-flooring is not stained/wet. If so you will need to get some Killz and seal it. Then you will need to steam clean the section and use some pet odor neutralizer, and then there is still a chance of odor, or any dog marking that area. I had a cat destroy an entire room's carpeting due to Diabetes. I even had to replace the moldings...

  21. I predict that I will not watch this!
  22. Wait to hear from Jesse (Troublemaker). He owned one for 5ish years and is an engineer working on brake systems for Honda. He will give you a very in-depth opinion. I had a B5 A4 Quattro for 3 years, selling it with 144k miles on the clock. While I loved the car, I bailed on it after I'd spent more time and money on it, than driving it. I bought it with 85k miles and an immaculate dealer service history. What I replaced: MAF Two Wheel Bearings (1 F, 1 R) Both Tie Rods (complete) and Boots Front Sub Mount (engine mount) 2 Flex Pipes (due to snub mount)
  23. The G35 will suck in the snow with anything but snow tires on it. I swapped to rims and tires on the Benz Friday afternoon. Dunlop Wintersports FTW. Last summer I surfed Craigslist to find a full set of Benz ML350 16 inch rims ($100 in Dayton), and a nearly new set of 4 Wintersports ($125 in Westerville). Including mounting ,balancing, and wheel studs, I have less that $300 in the whole package. I checked the tread depth on Friday. I will most likely get 3 more seasons from the tires.
