  1. An associate of mine from outside my company forwarded me this job opportunity to ask if I knew anyone who would be interested. Job requires Top Secret security clearance: Become part of a rapidly growing and successful organization focused on today's emerging cyber security threats. The candidate will be an intermediate member of the Network Assurance Team on the DISA GSM-O program supporting DISA CONUS. The successful candidate will possess current technical skills and have experience supporting a 24x7 EEMSG Cisco Ironport devices. PM me and I will get you in touch with the staffing firm doing the search.
  2. I think you have the right outlook for your business. I would do business with you. And the homie hookup I mentioned was me working at the dealership...which I no longer do. I'll keep you in mind when my tires are due to be replaced in 10k or so miles.
  3. Not to mention IMO its the best site on the web for aggregating tire reviews. The data is all subjective but there's a ton of it and I've never found it to be blatantly wrong.
  4. Last time I bought wheels/tires I got the wheels from discounttiredirect.com whose customer service was incredible and included a set of heavy duty lug nuts free, and those were shipped to my dealer. Tires I got from TR and had them shipped to the dealer. Install was free for a homie hookup. Now that I'm out of the car biz, I'd probably research prices there and then see if a local/CR hookup could match/beat/get close enough to keep the business local.
  5. Totally understandable, worth a shot! Do you happen to know if the CZ-USA parts that are available in the following link are of the same quality/fit/finish and would fit the old Dan Wessons? As far as I can tell, even if those are made for the newer Dan Wesson 715 models, they should fit. But there's not many resources out there. https://shop.cz-usa.com/dw-products/revolver/barrels-shrouds/357-magnum
  6. If you feel like selling any of the barrels/shrouds from the pistol packs, PM me. I'm interested. I currently have the 6" non-vent, non-heavy barrel and am interested in having an extra either 6" or 8" V/VH barrel around.
  7. You can barely even get your own info for free, let alone someone else's. If you want incomplete data, look at the county court's website where they live and you can pull basic court data. Also you can try googling "Firstname Lastname Inmate #" to test the waters...
  8. As hilarious as it is to maintain that image, when I worked at a coffee shop in the convention center in high school, we LOVED the Arnold. The clientele was demanding (everyone needs a special drink that's allowed on their diet), unlike the gamer/anime conventions (GIMME AS MUCH FUCKING BLACK COFFEE AS YOU CAN WITH AS MUCH ESPRESSO AS THIS $5 WILL GET ME), but I always had to chuckle at how underrepresented the stereotypical meathead was. Most of the people there are businessmen and women who just happen to be REALLY FUCKING FIT. They're mostly smart people making smart decisions to make their companies grow.
  9. With the recent passing of my uncle, I have inherited 2 revolvers. Both appear to be old reliable revolvers, and I'm hoping to get some wisdom from the gurus here. I've done a bit of research but I think both of these could be from the 1970s so there's not a lot of info out there. I'll get pics when I get home: 1) Dan Wesson Model 15-2 .357 Magnum, blued finish w/grooved wood grip. This was actually the first gun I ever shot (my uncle loved a good joke and the face I made when I pulled the trigger for the first time must have been legendary). Seems to be in rather good condition. I know it's the 15-2 and not the 15 due to the "pork chop" part of the barrel shroud not being present. I have a non-vent, non-heavy version of the 6" barrel, and it also had a 2.5" snub barrel with it. Other than the exorbitantly priced options from CZ-USA (who now owns DW arms) if anyone knows reasonably priced barrels that would fit this I would love to get a V or VH (vented/vented heavy) version of the barrel to complement the original. I'm pretty sure this is from a very early run of production due to the serial number, it was probably originally sold in 1977 or 1978. Would love to show this and discuss with someone more knowledgeable than the internet, but the consensus seems that these are very accurate, solid revolvers. 2) Llama Comanche 1 .22LR, blued 6" vented barrel. Marked with Stoeger and Llama markings, not sure what relationship Stoeger has with Llama but the majority of the markings are Llama trademarks or indicative of Spanish manufacture and import from NJ. I haven't found as much good info on this gun, seems like it could be anywhere from 15-50 years old. I'd never even heard of Llama til this weekend, but it seems as though they have a 100 yr history and are very common in Europe? Any input or info is appreciated.
  10. Thanks! I feel like your replies should be stickied somewhere on CR, that's fantastic advice.
  11. All great advice from what I can tell. I thought ISPs charged fees for "BYOD" (bring your own device) if you don't use their stuff. Obviously they can't take it away when you leave them and you can just use the same stuff if you change to a new ISP, but I was pretty sure they made it cost-prohibitive to do so. Just a generalization, I'm probably wrong. Also, do you have suggestion for those of us who cannot cut the cord aka cable users? I would love nothing more than to be rid of the horrible WOW! cable boxes. I just don't know if it's a better idea to use an old PC I have lying around to build my own DVR/Cable box, or if there are products on the market that are cost-effective to purchase. I have an old FX4300 series CPU and HD7970 in a box I haven't used in a few years, would that be enough with a good SSD to run a DVR setup? Also, which cable providers allow/charge for that sort of setup?
  12. Had Uverse, the only thing I liked was their cable box interface was among the best I've used. very easy and intuitive. Other than that, they did not deliver ideal speeds. WOW has been good. Their wireless box sucks, their cable box interface is horrible, but the service has been good pricing is excellent and speeds are stable and as advertised.
  13. For context, I took in a truck like this on trade about a year ago when I was still in the car biz. 352k miles, original engine and trans, and we gave the guy $1000 on trade for it. Buy this, drive it 130k miles, and get $1000 back. not a bad fuckin' deal if you ask me.
  14. Great price, usually you see these all donked out with 250k on the clock and they're asking $7k+.
  15. Buddy of mine just got a job managing an LA Fitness I can see if he's got spots he's looking to fill.
  16. Liberty Media is already talking about worldwide streaming, thank fuck. One thing to consider for the UBER heavy streaming users, IIRC WOW is the only ISP that doesn't currently have any kind of throttling or data caps. They will sometime soon, but everyone has them and utilizes them.
  17. You're picking on the worst of liberals, like those liberals pick on the worst of conservatives. I am a raging moderate that trends extremely liberal on most social issues (education, SOME environmental things, women's & minority rights, keeping religion out of government) and conservative on pretty much everything else (fuck gun control, i'm against all but the most minimalist taxes necessary, smaller gov't, states' rights, free trade). I don't like how immature Trump is. He does not represent what is so excellent about this country. I hope he does a fine job and I hope he succeeds in spite of my opinion. But he's like that one guy at your job that you wonder how on earth he's not been fired yet because he's just such an immense jackass, but somehow he gets the job done (p.s. if you say "there's no one like that at my job" congratulations, you're that guy). I really just want Trump to start acting like an adult. Get the fuck off twitter. Have content in his speeches. Come off a bit more like a representative of what makes this country great; hard work, ingenuity, and a can-do attitude. Not empty statements, complete opacity, and a fuck-you attitude. Let me try and put this simply: I hate all these groups, and Trump, for the same reason. They'll tell us what they want, but they won't give us a way to get there. Women's March: WE DEMAND TO BE TREATED AS EQUALS!! END MISOGYNY AND BIAS IN SOCIETY AND THE WORKPLACE!! BLM: WE DEMAND TO BE TREATED AS EQUALS!! END POLICE BRUTALITY AND UNEQUAL ENFORCEMENT OF LAWS!! Trump: THE PEOPLE DESERVE TO HAVE ACCESS TO CHEAPER HEALTHCARE!! I DEMAND AN END TO OBAMACARE!! OK everyone, how do you think we should go about achieving those goals? Women: KEEP YOUR TINY HANDS OFF MY PUSSY! BLM: FUCK YOUR WHITE PRIVILEGE! Trump: I've got a plan. A great plan. A plan devised with the most qualified people. Truly, have you seen these people? So qualified. CNN IS FAILING!!!
  18. General bits of advice: On the way out to your destination, book at least a 2 hour layover in a decent airport. Yeah, airport shit is expensive and you didn't go on vacation to look at a million Hudson News stands, but the longer the layover the better chance you have of arriving with all your checked bags. And it's always nice to fly without a time crunch. And 6 beers in between flights helps with the sleeping. I never care about my bags/layover on the way home. Just fly Southwest. I've flown AA recently and it's been awful, and United seems to be having issues too. SW or Delta IMO, and SW is so cheap and has the best customer service. And free checked bags. Sometimes it's worth it to upgrade so you can board before everyone, especially if you're flying as a pair. Travel agents can and often do provide the service of just knowing which hotels/resorts are actually awesome and which ones just know how to take good photos. On the way there, fly as early as possible to prevent delays. On the way home, fly as late as possible so a potential delay gets you an extra day off work. EDIT: And if you don't fly SW, when you get to the departure gate, walk straight to the gate agent and inquire about the cost to upgrade to First Class (only worth it to do this on the longer legs of your flight). Be really lovey-dovey with your woman and make sure to let them know it's your honeymoon and you're wondering if it's worth it to treat yourselves just once. Gate agents are people too, and they like making people happy when they can. Smile and be nice and you might be surprised at a free upgrade. Enjoy!
  19. just texted a buddy about the engine hoist setup, will give him your digits if he's interested.
  20. They always had the best snow shovel selection anywhere. Guess I'll go snag one on clearance.
  21. Weilands market in clintonville. Gentile's in Gview isn't huge but they have some hard-to-find stuff. Hopslam will be out soon, got a taste of it on Sunday at Dude-A-Thon where Bell's was the feature brewer.
  22. Fantastic price on a fantastic carry piece. Just sold my used one several months ago, someone needs to jump on this!
  23. I mean, he's just getting PAID $250k year. Probably blasting his face with cocaine on the company dime in an abandoned factory accounts for the rest of it.
