  1. I'll (obviously) be at CC&C tomorrow...will leave at 10ish for NTR.
  2. So ...who's going? :gabe:
  3. Why does it have to be an SUV? Saturn L-series wagon has great crash rating, more room inside than a Blazer/Jimmy...should be cheaper to maintain in the long run... http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=43220&endYear=2015&vehicleStyleCodes=WAGON&modelCode1=SATLSE&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=1981&makeCode1=SATURN&searchRadius=200&maxPrice=3000&showcaseListingId=0&mmt=%5BSATURN%5BSATLSE%5B%5D%5D%5B%5D%5D&listingId=336638375&Log=0
  4. My first car (and my wifes', ironically) was a Suzuki Samurai. Would love to grab one but off-roaders are driving the market up waaaaay too much on them. Paul, your question is not legitimate if you didn't read the first post: Even if you did read it, I'm going on a limb that he's not going to sell it because of your lack of comprehension around his purchase.
  5. I <3 Brian Regan. I LOL'd remembering that reference above...funny stuff. My favorite is his air travel bit. Everytime people are jamming stuff in overhead bins that monologue plays in my head.
  6. I think it's a legitimate question to ask, Grrg. If you look at my thread when I picked up my BMW, I mentioned exactly what I paid because I'd want to know as well, and I was comfortable with the purchase price. I would ask the question myself to others, only in-person, and if I feel the conversation is going that way. The people that don't mind sharing purchase price still probably feel odd doing it over an internet forum, and understand market value is a good thing.
  7. So...I'm googling "Piano Donations" and it's kind of shocking how many people have piano's they want to get rid of. Admittedly, we got ours for free from a family member, but I picked up the bish myself. Unfortunately, I offer no solution. Just sad and amazing that something (especially built with such care and craftsmanship for thousands of dollars) can be absolutely worthless if it's in the wrong home at the wrong time.
  8. +1. Came here to post this. It's deelicious...and the one in Upper Arlington just down the street from Kahoots on Kenny Road by Henderson. :ninja: The other option on Wednesday evenings is Morone's on Bethel Road: they have an italian buffet that includes PIZZA, pastas, and salads as well, with dessert pizza and brownies. Does not include soda. Very good and kid-friendly as well. It's in the plaza with BW3's, Texas Roadhouse, Hockey Stop, etc... Understood you are moving to Polaris, but both are just minutes off of 315 on Bethel and Henderson exits. EDIT: Why is Cici's shutting down everywhere? It seemed to be a great model. If costs were a concern, they could've upped the price and I still would've gone with my family.
  9. Why not? If the car is 25+ years old, you pay $27 one time and not have to reregister until 2044 or something. :fuckyeah: After talking to CPD, UAPD...no one will pull you over for historical tags unless you're being a total arse otherwise. If you did get pulled over, you just say that you're going to a "Club" meeting. (That's part of the affidavit you sign). No cop's gonna follow you all day as you go to work just to verify you're going to Der Dutchman in the evening to meet with other classic Acura owners. http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114675 Cooler heads prevail today.
  10. Wags, I can try to get some footage with your camera when I make it out...
  11. I don't know what your gf drives, but I put Firestone Destination LE2's on our Odyssey and more than a year and 10k miles they still look like new. I put a good amount of miles on my Passat and have a set of Milestar's from TireDiscounters (thanks, Derek!) They are cheap chinese tires but ride very well and have lasted a good distance; looks like I'll get 50k+ out of them.
  12. That is sweet. Definitely a fan of the classics. PUT SOME HISTORICAL TAGS ON THAT PUPPY! Would love to see it at Cars and Coffee
  13. Cool! If you do go that route, make sure you have an electronic blinker relay. Replacing even 1-2 incandescent bulbs may make the old-style relay not blink properly. If you get a kit (eBay for example), good retailers will just supply you with a new relay. Otherwise they are only a few bucks. Glad you weren't offended by the exhaust comment. You know I love your 'Bird...just noticing stuff I'D do differently.
  14. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT LAWNS?!? It depended on how much I slacked off. If it was a rainy late spring, and I hadn't mowed within 7 days, I'd shoot clippings out to not choke the deck. Otherwise, I'd normally use a blockoff plate.
  15. I used mulching blades on my 42" Craftsman II. I wouldn't think there would be any issues if you still were discharging clippings.
  16. All that legal wording and posteuring is making me h0rny...
  17. The other thing I think would make it look much better is a single exhaust, or hidden exhaust tip. The lines are so clean and the twin exhausts (which come from a single 2.5-3" pipe from the cat anyway) look asymmetrical and mar the straight bumper lines...my $0.02. Still lub it.
  18. TO PISS YOU OFF Mission accomplished :fuckyeah:
  19. Just to confirm, you don't have any games for the Wii, Joe?
  20. +1. ...and LED's. C'mon, man...it's 2014.
  21. That's the biggest air injection pump I've ever seen. Great to see you're doing everything you can to cut down on emissions! I remember a much younger Doug, talking at Carriage Place about a junkyard turbo install on his auto Grand Am...
  22. I liked those tail lights back in the day. A tasteful and unique upgrade. Me rikey.
  23. Can you take them off the rims? I've got a mismatched set on my 15x8/15x9.5 Rocket Hurricanes...
