get a good set of 4 stands you can buy em at harbor frieght pretty cheap.

go to the library they should have a bunch of the big service manuals and make a copy of the section dealing with the dash. or hook a crowbar in the defroster vent and pull it'll be messy but it'll come out

they make a round tool that fits on the end of a ratchet and hooks over the end of the filter that'll do the job without too much mess

intercool it nitrous is 40bucks a fill over time the intercooler will cost you less money. what all do you have done to the car? there are far less expensive things you could to make more power if the car is close to stock.

I've seen old muscle cars running in the low 10's high 9's with radial tires. bias ply tires are kind of weird to drive on. I run a radial drag tire with pretty goood succes 1.6-1.8 short times and decent street traction too. something to think about if you are planning on doing much driving at all

ceramic coating is not invincible headers expand and contract at a far faster rate than iron manifolds. eventually this is going to cause the ceramic to crack not to mention all the rocks and animals(in jason's case) and water. headers take lots of abuse expect them to rust a little thats what they do. even rusty they will last for years. I've had the same set of headers for my buick for 8 years they had surfacer rust in the box and havn't gotten any better but no holes or problems with them. and before you ask yes it was my daily driver for a long time.

I don't use synthetic motor oil waste of money in my opinion.

if the car has high miles the carb is due for a rebuild. get a good dealer service manual if you decide to attempt it. its easier to assemble an engine than to rebuild an emissons spec carb and have it work right. check for vacum leaks everywhere they can make you go way rich. good places to check are the base gasket and all thee vacum hoses. if you decide you need to rebuild the carb and don't want to mess with it you can buy a rebuilt carb from the auto parts store or get a kit and I can rebuild it for you.
