  1. if thats all your going to spray shoot it all at once right off the line or your wasting your time. one step colder plug (autolites work good) make sure you don't have one of those timing advance resistors in your air tempature circut wiring have fun
  2. truck window directions try this its a how to for installing a power slider in a truck but the removal info should be the same. that carb work ok?
  3. timing chains on older(70's) cars was like 50k maintenence things like that should get replaced before they break so ya don't get stranded

  5. how many miles? timing chains go longer than timing belts but still require periodic replacement.

  7. you can buy a clutch removal tool or rent it from autozone its pretty easy to change the clutch.
  8. if you want raped twice and left bleeding shop at the dealer for parts. if you only want it to hurt a little get a Gatorback from goodyear or a Polycog from dayco both of these brands are availiable at your local autoparts store. these brands are the ones supercharger guys go for when dealership belts start flying off you should have good luck with them.
  9. you may have a bad ground somewhere causing an unusually high amount of current to go through the switch, or you just got a bad one I'd warranty the switch out replace it again and see if it burns up in one day.

  11. that sounds like a bearing problem not a wheel tire problem I did a brake job the other day the guy had whacked a pot hole pretty good I beat the dent out of the wheel with a hammer and had it rebalanced still vibrated ended up having a bad wheel bearing something to look into
  12. check into some of the local technical schools like eastland career center they used to offer classes on welding in the evenings. or some of the guys on here weld you might be able to talk one of them into teaching you weldings a skill I'd like to pick up too but I gotta get a welder first.
  13. its not worth putting new muffler bearings in a mustang you might as well just get another car for what its going to cost you to fix it. tongue.gif
  14. does it move? if you can drive it here I can tune it for you if not gimme directions and I can come take a look at it.

  16. I got it fixed blew the old ones out with a smoke wrench and reinstalled the new ones with B.F.H. seems to be working properly
  17. if you don't have time to fix the switch you can get around it by shifting the car into neutral withthe ignition off and then starting the car you can then shift it into drive its just a way to bypass the shift interlock untill you can repair it hth

  19. not too manythings go thump right before it stops running. I guess it coulda blown out the distributor if it has one or tossed a rod.
  20. anything can be reliable it all sepends on how hard you drive it and what defenition of daily driver your using.
  21. just stick an old winebottle cork in it should seal everything right up.
  22. I took my 72 superbeetle into the shop today cause it was running a little hot mechanic told me I need a new water pump I can't seem to find it anyone know where I can pick one up?
