if the angle of the offset is less than or equal to the pinion angle it will be fine any farther will give you excessive u-joint wear.

fwiw the fleet diesel guys I sell to say rotella is junk they all go for the mobil delvac or the chevron delo 400

Napa will make it to your spec, but if it doesn't fit they won't take it back and its expensive so measure carefully. I don't have a store in this market with a machine to make crimped fittings yet.

ok first things first you need to set the base timing with the vacum advance disconnected and the port plugged on the manifold...... can you take a picture of your balancer and pointer? I can probably help you out.
