if your at 240k and the motor is out of the truck you might as well change the rings and the bearings while you have it torn down..... kind of a waste if you don't
I'm going to stick up for the tech here..... The guy doesn't have a freaking crystal ball and if he starts your car 50 times in a row and they key doesn't get stuck he can't do shit.... You even just said it will go for weeks without a single problem..... you really have two choices dump it at the dealer untill they can duplicate the problem, or wait for it to get stuck and then have it towed...
its probably worth what your asking for it but if you dont rig it up on some kind of test stand or have a marina check it out and tell you its good, your going to have a hard time selling it....

then bomb my house twice and hand spray under beds and furniture then after all that you should vacum two or three times a day for a month or so and dump your sweeper in the outside trash after each time. it took me a solid 45 days to get rid of them all....
