  1. Cuz the DVR is small. I had intended the system to be for if someone broke in I would have a good picture of their face. Now I see I need to cover more of my property.
  2. No, not if it requires a runtime environment. IBM Rational AppScan is the tool that can do that. We scan HTML(4/5)/JavaScript or basically anything that can run on a web browser without a plugin. I have most of the class written and the labs are getting worked out. Been a bit bogged down.
  3. My cameras suck with night vision but I did see the guy walk past. He was really far away so I can't make him out. 6 more of my neighbors got hit at the same time. I want to do some home automation and cameras but I don't want a monthly fee. Any suggestions? I have lorex equipment now, its just older and I want to upgrade.
  4. I didn't get stamped because the 90 degree wall causes the stamped price to go very high very quickly as it has to be poured in sections. I opted for a bigger area, and fire pit, with a finish that matched all my other hardscaping. Evan, I tried to call your guy but didn't get a response back.
  5. So, just to followup/close this thread. I was only able to get 2 companies to actually come onsite and look at this. I chose Sam Demeter because he was a.) willing to give me an estimate based on my estimations and then come onsite to verify I wasn't crazy. and b.) he was willing to work with me on options that made me and my wife happy. He showed up at my house at 845am. This shows work ethic. He kept the site clean all though out the different phases of setting the forms, building the steps, clearing things out etc... He was completely transparent in the quoting process, concrete cost, his labor, his fuel (I live pretty far from him) etc... With all of this, he was the less expensive solution of the 2 I could get to come out and I knew that he would be easy to get a hold of. I am very happy with the speed, professionalism and cost, I suggest Sam and his Dad to anyone that needs this type of work done. Call me if you need a referral or want to see his work SIXONEFOUR 446 (OH)87(OH).
  6. He was in a very popular TV show in the 80s.
  7. I have been at 30' in Gilboa without a hood, ICECREAM HEADACHE.
  8. Circleville is 25', warmer water but not deep.
  9. Gilboa is over 100', you better have 5m or better wetsuit because the water at 100 is around 50 degrees.

    WTB - Pump .35

Thanks for that, says face to face only but I might be able to get ahold of the seller.

    WTB - Pump .35

My grandfather did all of his deer hunting with a .35 pump. It was kind of strange, a pump rifle, but I always wanted to hunt with it. When he got older, he sold all of his guns and I never got to tell him I wanted it. Now I would like to have one just for the nostalgia. I don't think they are manufactured anymore, what is a good resource to locate one?

    Buckeye Nuts?

The park near our house has lots down by the creek. Ask Becky. Its not a state park.
  13. Be proud of it. Congrats.
  14. having come from Blue Coat, I can suggest K9. Also, make sure you run browsercheck.qualys.com on the machine's browsers.
  15. +1 for Arduino or take him to the Columbus Idea Foundry for one of their classes that use robotics (CNC or Laser engraving). I bet he'd pick up CNC fast. CIF doesn't go into theory or anything too deep, they just show you how it works and how to use it.
  16. I go to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year. We have lots of conferences there. If you aren't going to have lots of money to blow, you can have a great time. Walk around to all the casinos. Fremont is fun, watch for pick-pockets. Get out and see The Palms and Rio, take in a show. Penn and Teller is really good. If you have loads of cash, rent a really fast car. Basically you have to see what you like to do there.
  17. So far, French Concrete, called and scheduled an appointment. Called to postpone later in the day. no-showed for the new appointment. The Concrete Guys have an online estimator. Actual onsite estimate 2x the online estimator. Difference, my layout is such that the patio is near my house and a standard site isn't near the house.
  18. I have had both, Directv and Dish both have tv channels. I went to Dish because they bought VOOM and I wanted more HD but that isn't the case anymore. I think DTV costs more but I don't know that for sure. I am thinking about netflix only....
  19. What you want is a commercial asset tracking program. http://www.tracmor.com/ <-- says its open source http://slashdot.org/story/06/08/20/0214256/it-asset-tracking-and-helpdesk-software <-- slashdot article looking for the same thing http://company.ezinemark.com/open-source-asset-tracking-3-benefits-1d889ec7649.html <-- another discussion
  20. I agree with Notepad but Wordpress? (you know I do web security, why do you do this to me?) I am guessing you want a WYSIWYG editor, not something really writing your own HTML. Dreamweaver is a pretty good tool for that.
