So in all of this I see you want a job. Why not set yourself up for a career? Education can really help you. I used to have loads of COs in my classes at Columbus State and most of them are doing something else now that pays way more than what they were making. My suggestion would be to set yourself up so you never need to ask this question again, get an education and use that for getting a new job. Where is your passion? Cars? Airplanes?

Buying stock in a technology company is risky. I just watched Revolution OS last night and it talked about VA Linux's IPO at $299 opening trade. Crazy right? 2 years later they were out of business because the company isn't producing huge value. It made some VC guys super rich, no doubt, but the company couldn't back it up with revenue. Since you bought the stock you have two options. Keep or Sell. Either way you are probably never going to see $40+ so I would say, how do you want your taxes to come out this year?

Needle in the sack, incision, pull out vas, clip and tie, sew up sack. Chill a six pack, sit on the six pack and drink them, by the time the sixer is done you are no longer feeling it.

I just saw this great lecture on Near Field Communication at DEFCON and the guy on stage got a shell on someone's phone and mounted the file system on his computer. From there he pulled down the entire contacts list, all images and even sent texts out to a contacts distribution list he built. The whole thing took less than 15 seconds to setup. TAGS make settings etc... magical and like my colleages and I often say, when there is magic in technology, there are security flaws. BTW, the "only accept tags when I agree to it" setting is easily disabled by options that get set on the tag. Super interesting stuff.

Woodcraft might also have some.

Ok, I put in a paver patio about 4 years ago. I live in the country and I get lots of weed seeds blowing in from the fields around me. The weeds are freaking killing me. They sprout and spread the joints out in the pavers and before you know it, it is out of control. I decided I don't really want to rip the entire thing out to fix it without considering other options. My wife likes the idea of stamped concrete because this would eliminate the weed problem and could give us a more organic look to the patio. Anyone have suggestions?

I have a gas 8500W generator with a 220v cable that runs to my breaker panel. I put this in to make it legal. http://www.interlockkit.com/ Its manual but then I can use the generator for other things if I want to, like take my welder to a friends house, etc...

Glad it worked out. Now the guy will get sued for assault or something, by the guys with the intention to rob him.

When I hire people the degree is a tick box. Need degree, you have one, tick! I then ask what you actually know etc... I have a pure business degree, I have never been asked anything about what I did in college or what my degree means to me. Can I do that job, can I work with the team, that's what they always want to know.

Anyone going to Black Hat or Defcon? There is an invitation only party Tuesday that I can get you in. Wednesday Qualys is throwing a big shindig at Hyde in the Bellagio, I might know someone that can get you in, come see me at the Qualys booth. I am attending Defcon Friday and flying back Saturday. Its conference season kids, bring a spare liver.

What size TV should I get? I have a room that is 20 x 18 with 14 foot height and I sit about 16 feet from the tv.

I have a good bit of natural light and when I watch in the evening I get a bit of glare from one of the rooms.

I have a 50 inch DLP that is like a 2004 model, something like that. Anyway, it blows the bulb every year and a half, just happened again. I would like to get another TV, one that is good quality and will last a while. I don't like the idea of LCD tvs because they pixelate. Anyone have an LED DLP? Any thoughts on the matter?

If the power went out once due to a once in a lifetime problem, I can agree with PUCO agreeing to fix it up with the AEP monopoly. This has happened before and AEP has done nothing to prevent it or mitigate the situation in any way. Put the lines underground you idiots. The unions like the non-mitigation strategy because when they have to pull an all-nighter they get PAID. So, they fight the burying the lines idea. Or what about some other strategy? clear cut around the lines so no trees can hurt them? How about a different way to string the cable so it can more easily take wind or shock loads? AEP is doing nothing but keeping their $1.9B monopoly rolling along. The next time we lose power we need to pull our meters for an extra day. Can you imagine a million subscribers not paying for a day? They'd feel it.

A really good way to go, that 25 foot foaming wasp spray. spray them in the eyes. Works as good as mace, cheap, easily found, non lethal. Then, stab the mfer.

I just fixed a bunch of plumbing problems at my house. Every time I finish one I put down the towels and tell my wife "let me know if this leaks". then I wait a few days and tighten/fix anything that isn't right. I have never done a simple plumbing job but after looking at it a few times I figure it out. I said Sometimes, cuz often its expensive and the person you hire sucks.

You do realize that open-houses are simply marketing opportunities for the realtor to get new buyer business, right? Realtors have screwed this process up badly, I am afraid. In the housing boom, any idiot could sell a house (by listing and waiting). This caused a glut of list and wait. Good luck finding a good one.

Yesterday I get home from vacation and my house has very little water pressure. My first instinct was to run to CR and ask if anyone does well servicing but, then, I decided to look at it. I took a look at my pressure tank and noticed it was steady at 25psi. It should be 60psi. I look and my well pump breaker isn't tripped. A real head scratcher. So, I triped the breaker and ran the system to 0psi. I then turned the pump back on and BAM!!! 60psi. The point of this is sometimes DIY is simple, sometimes it isn't . Dont go spending the money on a "professional" until you have used a bit of your own skillz on it. If you have no skillz, you should have payed attention to your dad more. sometimes its easy

Bayer makes a product you can treat the trees with to kill the little buggers. I am fond of fruit trees.

I have geothermal so I don't have to maintain my system anymore but I would think that cleaning your A coil (inside your furnace) and keeping the condenser unit clean (that one is outside) you would be able to manage better. Also, new air filter can often make a huge difference.

Ask yourself this question, how many lawyers work for you? How many lawyers work for them?
