  4. My phone has a clock on it that indicates in my home time zone and my current time zone as well has having a calendar. Watches annoy me because the really expensive ones can't do most of the things a cheap timex can.
  5. Through hole or surface mount? I have done some pretty small work for some of the guys on here.
  6. Drive lots of nails into a board, strap the board to your foot, walk around.

    Qualys IPO

that is something we all are hoping for. Our predictable revenue and growth in the space is pretty good. I think that we have huge potential in Asia (Where I am going in November) and other emerging markets. The U.S. Market is largely using us but not very effectively. I am the Director for our Web Scanning solutions. We have seen this solution grow at a 100% Q over Q rate so far this year.

    Qualys IPO

That wasn't a you guys type of thing, that was why didn't Philippe take the dell deal, sort of thing. Being a Billionaire means you can be picky. The CEO has sold several companies that turned into something else, CCMail became Lotus Notes, etc... The CEO wanted to take a company public as a legacy to himself or something. Dell would have absorbed the technology and quickly killed it for professional services.

I didn't get enough options to retire but if we do well enough I can pay off my mortgage. I doubt that will happen but I think I can safely say I can buy a new bicycle. It'll be 6 months of lockup before I can sell anything so I am not holding my breath.

  12. When I go to security conferences we play "spot the government worker". Its easier now, the guy with a blackberry...
  13. Now, update EVERYTHING!!!! You have to install every security patch, OS and Browser are super important so I am not kidding when I say use browsercheck.qualys.com
  14. Commercial gear. Aruba Networks has gear that can do this.
  15. Oh, and, browsercheck.qualys.com should be your home page from when you get it fixed, on.
  16. Safemode with networking is what you want. But then again, you are probably going to have to get the networking, working. Wireless might not work, dhcp might not work. Basically you need to click the link I provided. Follow the first link on how to create a bootable recovery usb device, and then you can fix it. Since you are on the Internet now, you seem to have access to a device that can help. Best advice, re-install windows. If you don't have your files backed up, you just learned a super valuable lesson on things like security updates, using microsoft products and having backups.
  17. Thorne's stuff. http://visodence.com/ He will point you in a very high quality direction. I just don't don't have the Internet connection to support feeding data to the cloud. Lorex makes nice gear, make sure you hire an installer. Get the highest quality stuff you can, spare no expense and place the cameras everywhere.

  19. Not recruiters, that's for sure. They always are interested in the job they have in hand. They rarely work for the person they have in hand, see my point. They don't go find you a job, they find the job a person. Cold job location is tough but doable. Indeed.com and Linkedin are good resources. I like to combine them. find the job on Indeed and then see how you are connected to that job on LinkedIn.
  20. Nespresso and Lavazza are the only cup-at-a-time coffee I like. Keurig makes my teeth feel like they have plastic on them. It really isn't that hard to put grounds in a press, pour in hot water, wait a few minutes, push the press and drink. Plus, you get some grounds in your coffee.
  21. I go there fairly often (1 or 2 times per year) and I enjoy it. I do more travel in places like Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur but I also fly a bit domestically.
  22. And that is why regular reading and asking of questions on flyertalk is how I am able to travel all over the world for free. I took my wife to Australia on my last APAC excursion, she flew in First Class (the kind with a bed) for free on the 14 hour segment.
  23. I take my family of 4 to Hawaii every year for 10ish days. Have been for several years now. I don't pay for the flight, I don't pay for the hotel and the rental car is free. 10 days in hawaii, just meals. (this year I had 5 of us and 2 hotel rooms) The funny thing is, I am a professional Hacker that travels.... So this thread works on a couple of levels. Here is what you do. Stay in the same hotel chain, EVERYTIME. Book flights on the same airline and since you are going out of CMH you want to use something that does hub-and-spoke service out of CMH. Why? Because you get credit for every segment you take. So if you are flying to Atlanta, its better to use United because you go to ORD first, this means a round trip is 4 segments. If you fly delta, that is only 2 segments. 6 round trips and you are almost the first elite tier, or you can be 1/2 way. Elite tiers build miles faster. I get 500 miles to fly to chicago and an additional 500 miles in rewards miles, totalling 1000. I am 1K on united (flown 120,000 this year so far). I use the United credit card because that is where I need points the most. For you it might be Hilton/Marriott or whatever. Figure out your goal and focus on that.
  24. I love that an Anti-Muslim Eqyptian can cause all these problems.
