  1. When I had the 3650 with a spec III clutch I would slip it from 4500 making about 4-5psi. I would get 1.6-1.7 60's.

  5. Nice runs. I used to get 1.7 60's when my car was n/a with street tires.
  6. Turbos need load on the engine to spool the turbo. You should keep the stock gears. I run 3.27 gears.
  7. We would burn it with a torch and apply what we call grease shield.
  8. In 2004 I bought my daughter a 2005 Sunfire. It was a very nice car. I never had any problems with it and the insurance was pretty cheap. When she graduated she wanted a Mustang, so I got rid of the Sunfire and bought her a 99 v6 mustang.

  10. I've racked up 117miles on the new engine. I went to NTR tonight hoping to get a few runs in, but they called it about 5 minutes after I got there. I had planned or running 15psi. I have my IAT sensor mounted in the new intake and it reads a lot higher than in the intake tube. I'm sure it is pulling timing on the big end. I don't have the car tuned to spray the methanol yet. I know that will bring down the IAT and allow full timing. According to the calculator my 99.52mpg trap in the 1/8 says it's making around 500rwhp. It also doesn't matter if it's one turbo or more. The engine is still only seeing 10psi.
  11. I was only running 10psi and launching off the transbrake. I would say the engine is broke in now. I think I can get it in the high 10's with only 10psi. It has a mild tune on it.

  19. Last year a methanol injection line blew a hole while making a pass and ruined the pistons. This time the ground terminal was loose. That was where the fuel pumps were grounded. So, it went lean while making a pass and ruin all the new pistons and the block. Both times I was running under 13psi.
  20. The new intake didn't come with any bolts and the stock bolts are too long.
