  1. The engine is stock stroke 4.6 based teksid block with darton wet sleeves installed. The bore is 3.70 and makes it 305ci. Dyno Brian made time to get my car on dyno and he adjusted the tune to my liking. It was blowing the spark out in the upper rpm at 10psi and totally blew out the spark at 18-20psi and wouldn't pull past 4000rpm. I think with the spark problem taken care of it will make around 560rwhp at the 10psi level. Maybe Brian can post up the graph. Here is a short video of the car idling.
  2. I still feel young everytime I'm out raising hell in my car.

His car made over 800rw when it was a 4.6 2v engine. The more power the less time it take to make a dyno pull.
  4. what kind of shape are they in and how much do you want for them?
  5. This was posted in the wrong forum!

    5.4 timing

Turn the the crankshaft so the keyway is facing 9 0'clock. That will put all of the pistons below the deck. Then install the chains. You will need to turn the cams a little to get the chains on right, but with the crank being a 9 o'clock you won't have any ptv problems. It should look like this. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t165/y2k2gt/103_3911.jpg
  8. I have the front cover and the rear spoiler to match. They are painted black. $300 for both http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t165/y2k2gt/turborides1.jpg
  9. They won't work in his car without an injector driver.
  10. Fluid change won't fix his issue and there is nothing to bleed on his clutch assembly.
  11. I upgraded to 80lb injectors. These have about 7k miles of use. $250
  12. No machine work means the rotating assembly will fit without having to machine the block for clearance.
  13. The ones seen in this pic. http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t165/y2k2gt/100_0646.jpg They are 15x3.5 1.75 backspace and 15x10 with 6.5 backspace. 5x4.5 and 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The front tires look like new and the rears which are 325/50/15 BFG drag radials need replaced. I will include the lug nuts and front spacers to clear 13" cobra rotors. I will not split them up or remove tires. $700 picked up
  14. The kit has maybe 10k miles on it. I took it off before trading in the car. It is the same as the link below. http://www.lmperformance.com/53386/73.html You can hear the before and after on the 08 GT it was on at the link below. The car was stock except for the axle back pype kit. http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99743 $175 picked up.
  15. I will be selling these items soon if you are interested. Teksid block .030, manley rods, manley 18cc pistons, nib file fit rings and a cobra crank. This shortblock assembled would cost over $4000.
  16. I'm paid in full now. I just hope I have it running in time.
  17. I would think all of his tubing could just stay in the car. His tubes bolt to the stock manifolds and the engine can be pulled with the manifolds still attached. I have to unbolt my headers to remove mine, but all the tubing stays in the car.
  18. I leave the transmission in the car and it only takes me 3.5 hours to have my engine on the stand.
  19. I have magnapacks.
