  1. Contribute in a rental? I’ll be by the airport Thursday morning for a bit, then I gotta rush home and get ready to head back to Tennessee.
  2. Most Sierra wireless devices have options for gps reporting and they are designed for vehicles and this purpose. You can get used models on eBay for reasonable prices also and google is loaded with how-to’s.

There are some other devices also, such as pepwave. It’s the data plans that end up costing as they usually Run more than a simple cell phone plan.

Edit, Ryan’s option of an old phone is tried and true as well. Depends on how you want to handle it tbh.

  3. That would be greatly appreciated. Let me know. If I need to I can make a road trip. I found another flat of shells online yesterday and ordered them immediately. That one will get me into a more comfortable place that I won't have to flake out in the middle of the trap league because I don't have any ammo. One of the guys in the league found a place selling primers that have been pulled from shells, but it's 16,800 primers for $1500. If he buys them I'm going to buy some of them from him.

I just got home a bit ago, shoot me a PM with what you are looking for. I also have a couple cases of shells (unfired) that I was using to blast watermelons and such for fun, then i'd reload the hulls into 00 buck or slug. ;)

  4. My experience was the flip-side as I was trying to sell but i'll add it in here anyway:

I started the process of selling my old Chevy Spark to Carvana plus a couple other online places. In the end, I'll echo Clay's comments of, unless you are VERY sure don't bother. They try to get people to move fast and it's a business model that preys on this sense of urgency but after you sign off they take their sweet ass time. After it was said and done, I chose not to go through with the transaction with those online places primarily because when I kept pressing for a timeline, they said it may take "maybe a month or more" for me to get paid for the car. Personally, I think some of these online places offer an inflated price to people so they feel pressured into a higher sale price but they drag their feet paying you until they find a buyer that will cover that inflated price.

I took a thousand less at the dealership because it was was a much more confident and solid transaction.

  5. There are a bunch of articles out there about the Apple Airtag. It was (not so) surprising to see how well the coverage is, I mean there are iPhones everywhere.

Aside from that, if you want commercial I can make a few suggestions but they aren't super cheap as they are built for reliability.

  6. I have shotgun primers at home but unfortunately I’m not at home, nor living in Columbus. If you don’t get any , let me know and I’ll dig in to my stash when I get back and count what I have.

Not sure if you ever venture out but check Fin Feather Fur outfitters up north, they had primers in stock last time I went through. Limits were pretty low and prices weren’t what they used to be but it’s something to get started.

  7. Could definitely be the case, but honestly this guy is just a complete idiot. Has some carpentry skills, but can't run a business and is completely full of shit.

The only thing that has kept me from firing him is his friendship with the township inspector (of course, right?). As soon as his last inspection is over, I'm going to demand an itemized bill with materials and hours for his last draw.

I’d start there, and documenting everything in an itemized format. He’ll likely realize what’s going on and where it’s heading. That should either force him to finish or own up and he’ll get screwed on the final.

  8. I've decided that if I catch up to him and his work is holding me up he's fires and I'll finish it.

He probably wants to get out of it so he’s keeping you a low priority until you drop him. Edit: that way it’s on you not him. Contractors are useless anymore always chasing the more profitable job around the corner over fulfilling obligations they’ve already agreed to.

  9. I tried to order some parts today, shortest lead time was 53 weeks for a din rail power supply. Many other components are way worse. Our controllers have a 9 month projected lead time but the manufacturer said there are no chips to make them and no projected time for they can even get any. We are gonna grind to a halt very soon and I fear what’s gonna happen then with the job market.
  10. When is walmart hunting season? that sounds like a blast. But seriously, most all of the central Ohio walmarts no longer sell guns

Most claimed they were gonna stop but many I’ve seen still have typical hunting rifles

Edit: no more handgun ammo though
