Paging Tim - Infiniti Q60 Red Sport stick conversion
BIGGU replied to zeitgeist57's topic in Passing Lane
Soo a little bit of machining, custom wiring, 3d printed panels, fabrication for mounts, and a custom tune BUT its plug and play... -
those Buick wagons are awesome looking. Congrats!

There is nothing wrong with the H115i and it will work well. IMO I just think having 4 fans are better in a push/ pull rather than a push like those are. I usually do super thick radiators which need the extra help and the AIO coolers usually low fin density so they can get away with only having two fans. Depending on what you are wanting to spend for an air cooled setup you could go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO its at the lower end of the spectrum but works really well for the money. If you don't mind paying more go with the Noctua NH-D15. Its way quieter and higher performance but its a large unit so it will take up more space. either way you go will cool way better than the stock cooler. The Wraith setup while it doesn't do a bad job can be improved drastically. Also do yourself a favor and pick up some thermal grizzly kryonaut thermal grease and use that rather than what comes with the pre installed on any of the ones that have it.

I mean if its a custom loop or AIO you should just slap a stock air cooler on it and be on your way. Unless you have rigid tubing then its not as easy. You should always have a air cooler for testing anyway. Ive been running on the same vario D5 pump for 10+ years and I have no concerns about it running more.

yup Id just do a basic AIO that will fit in your case with some good fans in a push / pull setup and call it good.

Thanks again Tim! This thing has really been neglected for quite some time and you really got it looking right!

for my engine break in I used Lucas SAE30 break-in oil for the first start and then second fill. After that I switched to oreilly cheap shit oil for two more flushes and now im on Castrol GTX. Once I hit 3k miles on the engine ill probably swap to synthetics but I haven't decided which one yet.

I just think its funny that so many other cars have come out have gone the auto only route and people are always like " Auto LULZ" and yet this comes out and the same people are losing their minds over it being so amazing.

This. Not that its the same but my 2009 Macbook Pro developed GPU panics and apple replaced the motherboard years ago under warranty. Few years after warranty ended it started doing the GPU panics again and after some google searching I found its just a capacitor that goes bad. After a bit more of google I found a better quality capacitor and after a quick swap my MBP was back to good health.

I think he does it himself. Great skill to learn!

Now the thing that I have been waiting for quite some time on. CAR MODIFY WONDER!! Finally arrived last Friday and it was well worth the wait. I met with my buddy Sunday that will be painting the car to begin discussing what all needs done and what not along with color ideas. He is going to get me a color swatch for the color I am after to make sure its really what I wanted. I cannot thank Koru Works for keeping on top of this. Yea it was a long wait but this was all production issues. Also this is the only new JZX90 kit brought into the states currently! Ive also got my URAS Trunk spoiler and Roof spoiler along with my Ganadors mirrors.

So busy weekend doing things I should have done a long time ago. Long story short I waited 9 months for seat brackets that were supposedly done to arrive and when they arrived they didn't even fit properly. After another month of waiting for them to be revised I go frustrated and decided to just make my own. The reason I have not taken the car on the track here was my old seat bracket bends like crazy which means it will not pass tech.I ended up moving my Recaro from the driver side to the passenger side after having to cut up the seat base I received to make it work. Now that that seat is moved over I finally go around to installing my Sparco Evo3. Now you guys know, Im not small by any means which means big boy racing seat and generally some issues getting it installed. I ended up just hard mounting the seat to the brackets I made with no sliders since really Ill be the only one driving this thing. Now that the seat is in I ran into an issue, due to the width of the seat I cannot run the stock seatbelt buckle because the seat is right on the center console. I kinda figured that would be the case so this means I have to run a racing harness. Due to not having a cage (yet apparently, because I don't like driving a car with fixed bucket and harness with no cage.) I have not ordered harnesses yet due to wanting to figure out the mounting situation. With not having a cage you are generally limited in running the harnesses in a cross pattern to the rear seat belt bolts. In doing that the angle will be incorrect and in the case of an accident could compress the spine. I decided to run a harness bar in the car simply to adjust the angle of the harnesses that way it will be the correct angle to my shoulders. Yes the bar looks close to the head rest but its just the photo, Sitting down even trying to hit the bar its not even close. Lastly I got a set of knuckles from Tyler at Odyssey fab. One of my ball joints was loose so might as well get knuckles.

I feel like if you want to do it right you need to do both, but IMO just the epoxy coating would be good.

I have a fedex account if you want to send me the weight, dimensions and zip I can see what my price would be

on the Mark 2 it finally got a new radio (Pioneer W4400nex) and new front speakers since I found out that one was blown and the previous owner just disconnected it.

They are similar but they go from closed back to an open back so they are IMO less muddy sounding and more crisp. They do have less bass however but the mids are greatly improved. I originally liked the M50 better but after having the 6XX for a while now I dont think I can go back.

I currently have a Schiit Magni3 and Modi3 running sennheiser hd 6xx. I came from Audio Technica ATHM50 with velour ear cups.

Rough to hear all the damage. To be honest I slept through all the commotions!

already done in japan a few times already all before the car was officially released too.

I know its just a cruising car but I would make sure you get a "S". They get better brakes, 6 speed, bigger engine and a bunch of other things. Also what Andy said the tan interiors tend to be terrible after age, Id definitely find a black interior.

Twenty one pilots. Get a friend to walk in and purchase for them?
