  1. appreciate it, but when i called, 85$ + 2$/mile (gahanna to dublin = 20 miles or so) + tax
  2. those are the craziest headers ive ever seen in my life
  3. after searching for a while, i found the vendors list, but its back from like 2003. is there a more current one or is this it? i was looking at "one towing" about 35$ within the 270 loop...just wanted to see if anyone has used them or if they still have a deal like that (or close to it) before i call them tomorrow
  4. still looking. would like to have the engine picked up by the truck as it will be shipped in a crate. couple tie down straps and it will be set. gahanna --> blacklick --> dublin. anyone?
  5. "here, i made this for you" "what the fuck is it?" "its a wooden pickle. i carved it myself"
  6. im about 90% sure in the xd's its saved in the cluster...i posted here since 99% of the people are from ohio and know the law for the most part. i start a thread on EXD and ill get laws from every state in the country, explanation why i should/shouldnt, then an off topic post which will snowball. lol sometimes you just gotta come over here
  7. is there a legal way to do this? i blew my motor (original, 72k miles on it) but i am getting a new motor next week with 26k miles. is there any legal way i can swap in the gauge cluster showing the 26k miles from the vehicle it came out of? im sure i couldnt just take it up and show them something at the BMV, but if i have documentation showing the engine has the same miles as the odometer, say have a shop install it, can i put it in? i would rather do this, instead of having to try to keep records of the motor swap anyone?
  8. 2.39 degreaser and minimal elbow grease
  9. im sorry...her face looks like a train wreck mixed up with an ice pick. her age is catching up to her face
  10. go to the auto parts store, get 2x cans of 2.39 engine gunk remover, make sure its the foaming kind. cover all open intakes/coil packs, alternator (doesnt have to be airtight, but you dont want it soaked). spray it all over until everything is white, let sit 10 min, then spray again, go over w/ loose bristle brush, firmer brush on very dirty parts, then spray once more, let sit for 10 min. then spray down with a light mist spray, get all degreaser off, let run for 10 min or so to evaporate most of it. get a towel for any spots of pooled up water then, get a can of cd2 engine detailer. i cant find it except at autozone at rt 3/161. spray it on all parts of bay, let sit for 5 min. it says not to rub it in, but if you dont, it looks like water spots. let it dry some, then rub it in with a towel or microfiber works well sounds like a lot, but you can do this in about an hour and it looks pimp. mine lasts about 2-3 months afterwards before i do it again...heres a couple pics. before/after in my 03 elantra... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT4931.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/PICT4937.jpg
  11. jager FTW. i like to do about 5 shots : 1 can of redbull, and drink it all in about 2 nice chugs. its great caus if you do 2x of those in an hour (dont do more or you will be really sick) you will feel invincible for about an hour or so, then the redbull wears off and you'll just sit there like "fuck....im drunk"
  12. maybe the gas will spill in their car and somehow ignite. that would be karma
  13. i BELIEVE they only have to show you if you ask for it. they dont have to bring the gun up to every stop like "yep...see here...82mph"
  14. how big is it? we use UPS overnight for documents a lot (settlement letters, stuff like that) to send stuff to debtors, and ive never had an issue. i sent something to a guy in CA monday at about 3pm and it was to him the next day i would say give it a bit more time...theres a small chance it may be delayed, but UPS does run til like 7 or 8pm i think
  15. and i was hoping 2-3 could lift it...we'll see...we have me, my roommate (6', 240lbs..i hope hes got some muscle) and my brother is a big guy. going into a kia sorrento though...we'll see how that works out
  16. i dont have AAA...my dad does, but i guess he's either used it up this year (5 drivers in my family, so it doesnt last long) or he didnt renew it...either way, unusable. as for hyundai roadside assistance, they will only tow it to the closest dealership. i had a tie rod that was loose and came out after i turned a corner in my neighborhood on the way home (literally 1/2 mile from home) and when i called them, they would not tow it to my house, only to the dealership. this was the day before thanksgiving so i said f' that. got AAA to bring it back and got the tie rod bolted back into place in about an hour (did both sides and made sure the cotter pins were in)
  17. we had to put a cat down last year, i dont remember what it cost though. i actually got him and his brother off a friend of mine who was about to just let them wander off outside. he had liver disease, kidney disease, water in his lungs. he wandered off for a few days, my mom found him under the neighbors tree, brought him home, and the next day he wasnt breathing right, took him to the vet and they put him down. i only had him for about 6 months, but it was hard.. his brother, my cat now, ive had him for about a year and a half...hes one of the oddest pets ive had...he eats tapioca pudding, sleeps right next to me, sits on the table while im eating (if im just by myself...not a nice dinner w/ people lol). if he died, i would probably take a couple days off work...hes like a family member
  18. let me know what he/she wants to do it.
  19. send me the number, i can run it through some of my skip tracing stuff here at work...i do collections, so i do this all day. may be a cell and i may not be able to find it,but i can try
  20. gonna be a little over a week, but i need my car towed from gahanna (hunters ridge) to dublin (byers), possibly with a stop in blacklick (maybe 5-7 min away from where the car is) to pick up an engine. i have to see how they're shipping it (on a crate or not) and see if i can get it into my dads SUV. if i can get it in there, ill grab the engine. looking to do this friday. im off work for vacation, so any time is fine. cheaper is always better the car is parked head in into my garage, so unless we can get it turned around (might be able to roll it out the garage and into street), it will probably need a flatbed
  21. bump...anyone else have any reccomendations? compression test today showed 0-0-45-0 on the first round and 0-0-60-0 on the second. should be getting the new engine on the 28th
  22. belt is on correctly. as for compression, i got the gauge from shawn, came back 0-0-45-0 on the first time around, and 0-0-60-0 the second time around. new motor will be ordered on the 28th
  23. yes, yes you will its the best when you go into work at 8 am, wide awake with a big smile...everyone knows whats up, and you wont give 2 shits
  24. was it like an 80's model? i want to say a c3/c4...if so, ive seen it pulling into the easton commons (across from cheesecake factory) when i was delivering pizza up there
  25. Like i said...its gahanna. its not like its broad and james or something. it is "calm" but compared to the REST of gahanna, its not the greatest. the apartments are older, you have to walk up some flimsy metal steps to get to the upper apartments (which are a PITA to get up with anything in your hands), there is a small porch you share with someone which makes moving tough. tell her to roll over and check them out. honestly, im sure she could find better for her price range. let her know if she wants to come check out these where im at (since i know the office closes at 6 on the week days) you guys can come over and ill show you around...they have 1 bedrooms out where im at for I THINK about 465ish...i haven't seen any due to there not being any available when i moved in in may, but they may have some now
