  1. i've heard even with stainlesssteel it eventually ends up rusting through, my opinion would be not to do it. if anything ceramiccoat itand then do it, or just ceramic coating it should be ok
  2. i'd go to honda to get one they aren't that expensive my mom's broke on her mitsubishi, and one form the dealer cost 2 bux. and ur sure its the right thread and length. if u get a generic one from the autoparts store make sure its the same thread and all that so u can still use the same lug nuts. if you need to get a new lug nut also keep in mind honda wheels are "ball seat" wheels which are different to most normal cars, the lugs are a little different at the base.(hence just go to the dealer)
  3. i had them on my accord, no complaints, for the price u can't beat that, i got them off www.tirerack.com for 156 for all 4, but then again its a honda.
  4. word. u can drive with 3, but i personally woulnd't trust it for long, 5 lug cars running on 4 studs is fine but 3 studs... hmm
  5. maybe daks' GSR was a freak but i THINK he had the greddy kit and he did 240 to the wheels....untuned.
  6. actually i just/still am doing some hardline work on my brakes, and i bought a tube cutter and flaring tool, you can borrow it if you want.
  7. that deserves a strike, come on mods! strike him down with your fury!
  8. they have small tub flaring kits at advanced auto. that would prevent soft lines from slipping off.
  9. when ur on woodruff crossing over the olentangy going from the stadiom towards 315, there is a cop that sits past that first light, and he clocks you when ur on the bridge, impossible to see really because of the distance. i was getting k band readings from that sign taht measures ur speed, and at the middle of the bridge i got "LASER ALERT!" he clocked me probaly doing 37 ish, i was lucky he didn't pull me over, but just saying watch out. i've seen cops there once before but that was well over a year ago.
  10. i did the conversion on my accord, i thik the kit was like 40 bux, and it comes with the134 shit u need too, the only thing is, if you want it done right you "should" take it somewehre to get everything drained out of the system.
  11. it happens i had that in my accord, and in the peice of shit audi, there should be a hose that goes from the top of the valve cover to some position in your intake, i wouldn't worry about that oil too much.
  12. i wouldn't do it, with a front wheel drive car with balls I.E. yours. i would leave as much weight in the front as you can. the "sealed" batteries are a good idea, when your battery is charging it releases toxic fumes, and if they are in the cabin of your car....well you get the idea. i have mine in the 7 in the back, and i have a sealed battery for that reason. IMO, don't do it.
  13. somethign similar to my moms van, how long has it been since u change plugs and wires? on my mom's can the wires were coroded onto the spark plugs a few of the cylinders werne' getting spark.
  14. i wouldn't tear them off, i've "heard" of firehazards and what not, they are there for a reason....
  15. sometimes the heavy point of the tire matches the heavy point on the rim, and you get a off balance type vibration, i'm not sure at what other shops have this or not but i know at discoutn tire, on their balancer they have a road force test. just go in and when u ask for a rebalance, ask them to do a "road force".
  16. get them swapped as soon as you can, probably louder than it should be. dry weather handling isn't that big of a difference, the problem comes in the rain, withe the tread blocks facing the other way you are pretty much just asking to hydroplane on one side of ur car (not fun). ask discount tire about ur valve stem for ur wheel, we can get pretty much anything.
  17. what i did on my accord was get a couple hose clamps and wrap them around the heatshield and i boud the heat shielt to the cat. on my corolla i just crabbed a screw driver and bent the shield out of the way :-p
  18. at least he didn't inquire about neon lights
  19. when iwent by at 11 lookedl ike he was just doing paperwork......
  20. 315 north. they sit off on the grass byt he slow lane.
  21. i got hit with laser, just an FYI. i've been tryign to figure outa pattern of thwne they sit there but its pretty sporatic sometimes i won't see them for 2 weeks sometimes 2 days in a row...
  22. just to add to that, carbon deposits sometimes end up seizing motion in the apex seals causing a lower compression or sometimes people even theing their motor is blown(in this case u can use the ATF trick bu ti won't get into that) also ur dirty ass motor oil is the same oil taht get injected into ur combustion chamber. and usually in rotaries 20w-50 is used.....not really a good "high RPM" lubricator. two cycle does a better job of it.
  23. hey man hit me up on AIM: BertoBizkit i have a bunch of links which you can read and really mak ethe decision yourself. my car came with it removed but after spending a lot of time looking over stuff its better for the motor, if ur willing to put up with the hassle, which really it isn't that much of a pain. i just have a pepsi bottle and i measured a 5oz mark and a 10oz mark. and i use it for 5 gallons and 10 gallons accordingly. takes 5 more seconds, specially since you have a daily driver its no big deal.

he said the outer side of his tires were getting worn, lowering a car results in the insides wearing..... anyways tuffy does them for about 45$ too.
