When I was tracing a boost leak on the RX I made a cap out of PVC and installed a tire valve. Then I hooked up my air compressor, pressurized a bit and listened for/felt for leaks.

Just paid off the rig last week (took me 11 months), Took it to Black mountain hauling 4 ATV's, the title was in the mail when I got back. woo woo. Now back to saving money. PS I'll be selling my LTZ400 and my Jetski (GP1200) later this year to make room for another toy. 06 Civic (DD duty) - Mobil 1 synthetic and pureone filter. Unless I can get the Mobil1 Filter in a package deal 87 RX-7 w/LS1 - See above. 04.5 Cummins - Valvoline Premium Blue (Dino oil) and fleetguard oil filter. I always get to 6 months and might not make the 5k mile interval. Plus 3 gallons of synthetic oil can get salty. These are both 'OEM' oil and filter anyway.

Just noticed the paper is put together by Amsoil, hence there might be some bias, looking at the end result i'm not surprised.

I hate to sound like a hippie but I am maxing out at 2. Maybe its not such a problem here in the US, but in general I think that the world in 30-50 years will be overpopulated. It will be hard to support that number of human flesh. Food, trash, sewage. So I'd like to do my part at not making it any worse. 2 kids will replace myself and whomever the mother turns out to be once we are dead.

That really stinks. I've never owned one but considered it in the future. I wonder what kind of volumes they sold? it all comes down to $$$. A low volume car like that with special parts drives cost, and no one wants to pay 50k for an evo.

I only play xbox in the winter really. But I would say keep it. You aren't going to get that much out of it and it might be nice to have in the winter. Also, its not just a gaming console anymore. I use it to play DVD's and stream netflix.

Yep all that good stuff. tied up the excess chain so it doesn't get sucked under the flapper too. I essentially am a toilet repair expert. Just wanted to do a gut check on where everything was supposed to seal.

I know which way it installs! I was just wondering on which part of the flapper is it designed to seal on. Its a plastic seat, and I've already cleaned it to make sure there is noting on the surface.

So both my toilets leak and they drive me ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Now that thats out of the way lets move on I am not a toilet expert. I've replaced the flappers a few times over the years and I am starting to question whether I am getting the right one. Let me explain. To me it would make sense for it to seal on the cone part of the flapper so the downward force applies a force to the side as well. Currently my flapper seals at on the flat part at the base of the cone. Hence I would need to get a bigger one?

Just got the rear end back under the car and will probably be itchin to drive it by then. Might make it out to this. I'll know once we get closer to the date! Haven't seen a lot of you fools in a while. If I can find a car hauler i'll trailer it out and put the Cummins on the dyno too.

This The receipts from National when I rent cars for work are in the $67 per day for a fullsize. The other thing you could do is gamble. What I mean by that is become a National 'Emerald Isle' Member (which last time I checked was just a free frequent customer program. Once you have this you can show up and rent anything in the emerald isle club for the same price, just walk up and take it. So you could pay for a compact and then walk up and take an SUV. lol. I do this for work too and they charge the same. But you risk they don't have anything and you get a Kia Soul. But I've never seen an emerald isle that didn't have at least a few minivans. Not all Nationals have emerald isles, call ahead and verify.

Everyone is missing this, going straight for the guns, bazookas, suggesting bombing a country (srsly?). Just don't go there. case closed. I feel bad for these people but come on now.
