  1. Rick......people don't get sociallism. They don't understand why it is such a bad thing. They don't understand, you have to educate these people. You can't just put this out there. To the average American......socialism = not so bad
  2. Well he can and more than likely does get back more than he paid in. That's what the "tax credits" are all about. That's one of the frustrating things about tax credits. People get more back than they EVER pay in. It's a welfare system and it's so discombobulated that people don't realize it.
  3. Honestly, what is wrong with socialism? Doesn't it help people out?
  4. Why not just give them the cash up front? Education $$$$ don't make people smarter. It starts in the home.
  5. These claims give TOO much credit to the government. Way too much.
  6. I have no other place to conversate with intelligent closed minded idiots elsewhere......yes I said it.....intelligent idiots. I don't necessarily come here to visit with like minded individuals, I come here to challenge my thinking, my neo-con, freedom loving, capatilist ways. I know how people like me think.....it is the others that I have trouble understanding. So in a sense, I come here to diversify my "political portfolio".
  7. I didn't know that these two words would ever come from a Jeep owner: sexy and peppy
  8. Sure fools and their money will soon part. But for the most part, it's those who travel out of the state who no longer will need to do so, they can finally squander their cash here.
  9. How did you prepare them....did you just cut and eat?
  10. Honestly. What politician doesn't abuse power. Look at presidential pardons.
  11. I don't agree. I like it. It let's us see which direction a campaign is trying to lead you.
  12. I heard someone say it, I don't remember who it was. But, our tax system has turned into a form of welfare, where those who have nothing...get more back than they pay in, from various tax credits, child credits, etc. Screw the tax rates, let's take a look at the "cash flow". Welfare wasn't remformed they just got a new name, IRS.
  13. Like all tax issues, there is more than one side. Check out the "Tax Reform Act of 1986" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_Reform_Act_of_1986 The top tax rate was lowered from 50% to 28% while the bottom rate was raised from 11% to 15% I was amazed with this.
  14. Realistically, I would like to find a cheaper place to live, yes? But since all business are affected equally, all places would be affected by the increase, negating their reasoning for leaving.....because regardless of where you go, your screwed. Reagans inaugural address is A-MAZ-ING: http://www.reagansheritage.org/html/reagan01_20_81.shtml What's funny about Reagan is this. He talked a great game, his follow thru....was so-so to good. NOT great. His message however was universal, similar to someone else named Barrack Obama running in this campaign.
  15. Rumor is.......he will hunt his tiger cubs with rocket launchers, because he can.
  16. I think that in order really de-bunk these myths we have to understand that hangovers have contributing factors that are much more than what we do immediately prior to or immediately after drinking in excess. I would guess to venture that preperation would need to begin 2-3 days prior. http://health.howstuffworks.com/hangover.htm/printable This is a pretty good article underlining some of the possible symptoms. This factoid is interesting: According to studies, drinking about 250 milliliters of an alcoholic beverage causes the body to expel 800 to 1,000 milliliters of water; that's four times as much liquid lost as gained Interesting is the "burnt toast" remedy. So hydrate two days prior, eat a well balanced, salty/potassium filled meal with multiple multivitamins to "preload". Before bed, two asprins, one glass of water. After wake. One fried egg sandwich, on burnt "carbon toast", with bananna slices topped in crushed asprin.
  17. Fail......she'll never get wet, per the instructions, might as well hump a hole in the sand. I would bring one fully stocked Kroger store.
  18. Agreed. If Beanie is productive, he really balances out Boeckman. I think we need to access our option in the second half for passing. Our special teams and Jenkins are having kick ass games though.
  19. Yea, from what I've read their juice is used in some dyes. I sliced off the crowns, cut it in quarters and opened them in a bowl of water.
  20. Has anyone ever had a pomegranate? I purchased one at the store. I love the juice and I'll probably slice this puppy up here this evening. Any tips on where to buy them? I got mine at Krogers, it looks dwarfed.
  21. Hang on sloopy IS Ohio. It gives me a sense of pride, because it's one of those things that makes Ohio....Ohio. We can't brag about our mountain view or great weather all year or beach views....but we can sing the shit out of hang on sloopy, and scream O-H-I-O in the middle.
  22. Looks done now. 2:35 left, up by 10
  23. Sounds like EVERY POLITICIAN EVER.
