  1. Well, I just told him to turn the boost down.... Cavin, seriously, Nenni will be up here Wed 4/22 for a few days, so bring it up to Toledo, get Don to put a real boost controller on it, and Justin will get it running so much better for you.
  2. Good, he needs more of your mentoring.....
  3. Someone mentioned out of town cars shouldn't count if there is some type of title earned and I agree. But I'd still enjoy coming down to run a good track for the heck of it. I'd be happy to line up against one of the Z's for fun.
  4. Damn, Cavin laying down the smack. What turbo did you end up replacing the 80 with?
  5. Nice to see another modded S4! Beautiful shots.
  6. The 9" is being tested in BL's glide car, not SW's 6 sp. And it's nowhere near $6800.
  7. Jon, sorry to hear about the verdict....sounds pretty harsh to me. You are welcome to be an honorary flagger up here any weekend you like.....
  8. SW had a F40 years ago, he never owned a F50, but brokered one for a customer awhile back. A number of these cars posted have since been sold. His coolest car is his turbo miata though. I would have loved to inherit a high end car dealer....he has a loyal customer base. I highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a perfect, no stories performance car. He'll broker anything but a Porsche.
  9. I bought my Z06 down in TX without my wife knowing....it didn't go down well....she found out when she saw an insurance bill.
  10. Yes. Going to see if a privateer effort can go a round or two against BL and Titan.
  11. I have an 07 Yamaha 350 Raptor that I'm planning to sell. Bone stock (only thing stock in my garage . I've ridden it probably 5 hrs total around some neighborhood trails. Perfect shape. Let me know if you're interested.
  12. Cremean - not sure who made the bell housing, sorry. Killjoy - nope, we've never had it running in IN. Ray - I invited the AMC Boyz up to Milan to run for free with us, but Rob declined. Maybe next year. Getnbze - yes, a couple others are running glides, and we have more mph, so making power isn't our biggest problem. Thanks everyone!
  13. That's how you need to run these motors with nitrous, but yea we may be able to lean it out a bit. We aren't planning on touching the tune until the consistency comes....which we're hoping we've turned the corner on.
  14. Thanks everyone! Ghost, yes, it's a th400. Matt, thanks for the picture.
  15. So we finally did it. First pass off the trailer last night: 7.88 @ 185 with a 1.38 60. Backed it up with a 7.81 @ 187.4 with a 1.31 60. The previous MPH record was held by Boost Logic (186.6) using a glide, a bigger 55-91 and a taller tire. After contemplating a third 'give it hell pass' we just decided to drive it straight back onto the trailer and call it a night. We're .1 away from the ET record held by Titan. We didn't quite realize this last night, but probably a good thing we didn't. Here's the video (you can hear me lift right after the 60 to kill some tire shake, so we left some ET on the table): http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Accelerated-Performance_192496.htm And it only took a $45 part to go from breaking something rear end related about every time we pulled it off the trailer to running 7's. Well that and a few different combos of axles, rear ends, and diffs. Don was getting sick of me complaining about not being able to see the Motec digital dash so he installed a shift light to stop the bleeding. After hooking it up, we ran two consistent passes for the first time. We didn't change a thing all summer. Set the shocks at 50%, boost at 33-35 psi, and the Maximizer at 100%. Still running a 28*10.5 slick on the OEM IRS. It took us about a dozen hits to get into the 7's which is pretty cool given that it was completely built from the ground up. Except for a loose nitrous fitting early in the year, not a single gremlin popped up. Accelerated Performance deserves some credit for building the first customer Supra in the 7's....especially since it's driven by a fat, old guy....http://www.clevelandracing.com/forums/images/smilies2/smile.gif
  16. Sorry to hear about this. Don mentioned it to me last week...I'm sure you were hoping it would be something less expesive...
  17. It was nice seeing many of you yesterday and meeting some for the first time. What a beautiful day too! Cavin, it was nice seeing you at the drag strip. Keep at it and ignore the jealousy. You'll be in the 9's with that set-up very quickly. I have been as critical on IPS as anyone over some of their previous work ...but I have to admit, you guys have done a very nice job building Mark and Jason's cars. They are both putting done some killer times/traps and you deserve the attention. Good job guys. As for me, I was really disappointed we weren't able to get a clean pass in the Supra yesterday. We can soft launch the car all day long and like we did the other week, cut 8.32's at 181 with crappy 1.55 60 fts. But when we launch it, we have broken two rear ends and two axles over the last 4 passes. We think our current axle issues are related to the aftermarket diff we are experimenting with, so hopefully once we find the impossible to get OEM TRD, we'll eliminate that issue.....as breaking axles well down the track tends to scare the shit out of you. Per the logs I broke the driver side at about 110. I may have gone a bit overboard on the track prep in the right lane too...I told Jerry to double spray the 60....and when we cut that 1.3 60 we also ended up tearing the tire off the wheel and ripped 12 of the screws out of the sidewall. Time for actual bead locks over the winter. But seems to work well for most everyone else! We should be at the next rental in a couple weeks with a different diff and hopefully see some high 7's before the season ends.
  18. You were a big help this morning finding me those tires so quickly. Chip shipped them out today (ridiculous 2 day air cost ) in case we can make Wednesday's track rental. Thanks again, Jamie
  19. If Mark wants to race the Supra, we can easily set it up down in Columbus on 10/2. I can't turn the boost down, it's been running on wastegate spring pressure since we dyno'd earlier this year.
  20. Congrats Mark on the 9 second pass - nice job! Looking forward to seeing you run on kill mode. We were really looking forward to this event, but bailed on the 5 hr trip Sunday morning when forcast still called for thundershowers. I've been rained out 4 times so far this year....Ohio weather can suck.
  21. What exactly is wrong with the car. I will pass it along to Don or Russ
